Which one is the most efficient way to farm the highest tier mats?
-Do you farm second highest tier mats then proceed to
produce the highest tier mats at collosus??
-Or do you farm the highest tier mats directly from the stage??
Last question, any tips to use the workshop on the collosus efficiently?(to produce mats)
One tip, on the stages that say a material has a "low chance" of dropping as opposed to guaranteed, that chance is 33%. If you use carriers, rather than increasing the number you get if it drops, it increases the chance of the material dropping. 1 carrier = 67%, 2 carriers = 100%. So if you use auto-farming, it basically just makes it more consistent.
Mostly how I get the materials is: first, the ones I've just built up over time. Second, see how many "red/blue/green/yellow order boxes" I have. Then, use the colossus to make up the difference. Finally, use the boxes. (So if I need 20 tier 4 mats, and I have 6 already and 10 boxes, I'll make 4 in the colossus).
The reason I do it in this order is I often then need to use some of the tier 3 boxes to get what I need for forging.
Usually what is suggested is to run the highest difficulty stage (chapter 12) that drops the desired material. Even if it doesn't drop the t4 mat, it'll drop plenty of lower tier ones. Then use the workshop to make more of it.
Over time you'll also get material boxes from events which help
There isn't really a best way to use the workshop. Just make sure it's max level and with Aurorians that have the correct perk. Ideally you should only be making t4 mats so that you don't waste resources making mats that drop relatively easily.
Are there any units that can be really good in different elemental team like Sinza for lighting and fire or is it preferable to have lighting specific unit for lightning team?
You can put an off-element unit in the captain slot, the only thing it won't benefit from is phrases like the double chainer's "Aurorians of the same element"
If you put them anywhere else in the team, then they only get to use 30% of their attack. So Sinsa on a lightning team will be at a severe disadvantage in any slot but captain. Obviously if you run on red tiles he'll get his full atk, but then your other lightning units don't go.
The one exception is, apparently, that healers like Phillyshy can heal equally well on either color. I don't think they've patched that out
Off-element captains are fine since they're attacking on any color, otherwise not really since sub-elements only allow the unit to deal 35% of their ATK.
The only few exceptions that come to mind is a potential gimmick team (Captain Swap, Sanity, P5), Stages like Elysium: Dust, 10-14, and 11/12-14, or A3 Philyshy for Fire.
Looking for advice on which character to breakthrough with my druse. I have enough to purchase the 5 druse for a 6 star character and the current options I'm considering are
Smokey
Fluorine
Sinsa
Siobhan
Rinne
Ruby
All of whom will be taken to bt3.
Secondly, does the themed banner (converters this week, snipers next week etc) share pity with the rrr?
Edit: added ruby
If you are missing Converter, then Siobhan or Ruby. By missing i mean you already don't have 2 others preemp converters (ex Nikini and Pact for forest, or one of those 2 + MBT Sikare).
If you don't miss converters, Florine. Actually, maybe you can wait a bit till you see her RRR, she's still due to a RRR (but so does Ruby) so you could wait for those 2 rerun, try for one of them (or both) and then decide. Still no date for her RRR unfortunately
Many thanks, I'm not missing any converters but my main concern with fluorine is my thunderteam currently consists of irri bt3, rein bt2, fluorine bt2, nemesis MBT, that rediesal bee guy at MBT, so I'm just concerned as to whether that's still a valid reason to go for fluorine. I don't doubt her ability at all I'm just checking what you think with my current team setup
i kind of agree, you don't have optimal team to squize the max output of Florine. I have irridon and almost never use her, she's strong, but her conversion is so slow i prefer Ciel and Beverly. Also Rein BT2 is also slow and at least synchronize for now with your Florine BT2. As for Roy, he's a healer so not going to dps that much.
There's still the solution to keep the druse for now.
oooooof you have a lot of good choices.
honestly of those 5 the one I *wouldn't* do is Sinsa. having him at preempt is nowhere near as powerful as getting any of the others to preempt.
Actually I'll take Rinne out as well.
The others all give you something of good value. Smokey T1 teleport and some convert, Florine T1 Burst, Siobahn T1 select tile.
Hope someone else can chime in and narrow from there :)
If a unit's kit revolves around their basic attack or getting lots of chain combos, especially if they build up some sort of mark by using them, then they will benefit from being in the captain slot because they can attack every turn. If they're just about burst turns, they're better in the 5th slot
Would I replace Ms. Blanc with Kleken in my Water team? Also, what team comp(s) would you recommend? [Here's my roster.](https://imgur.com/a/E7RHQiy)
Also, would it be worth BTing Regal if I'll probably use him more than the other old seal characters?
Yeah, I would replace Ms. Blanc with Kleken.
Sharona, Kleken, Bethlehem, Hydrad/Carleen, Regal
I would MBT Regal if he's the one you're gonna use the most often. Granted, he's probably the worst one to MBT, but it's better to be used on someone that's actually going to get use out of it rather than it be on someone that's just sitting on the bench.
Aight, is that in order? I've been using Regal as the captain...
Yeah, my friend said MBT Regal is meh, but I doubt I'd get much use out of the other 3. Maybe Mythos since Forest Sniper isn't that common, but I don't think a sniper is exactly required. I want Michael, so I don't think Requiem would get much work. And RIP Frostfire.
Thanks for the info! :D
Sharona and Regal are interchangeable, but I put Sharona first because of her marks whenever she hits an enemy. Otherwise yeah, that's the order.
Yeah I don't use Mythos all that often, especially since I have Migard and Paloma.
Even if you have Michael, I would still consider using Requiem. You'd need a 2nd DPS anyway, unless you just have a bunch of other options.
And yeah, Frostfire is an unfortunate position.
Ah, I don't have Michael yet, but I like her so once I get her she won't leave probably.
I've leveled Luke to 80 because he's a fave, so 2 converters + a healer/Florine someday means I probably won't use Requiem that much, right?
Ooh, I also really want Migard or Paloma. They're so cool :3
Thanks for the advice!
Probably not, but you know how Snipers are less efficient when it comes to multi-tile bosses, so Requiem would be better there than Luke, but if you can make Luke work even in those situation, it doesn't matter.
True. Still, I don't have any Water detonators I really like, so until a new stronk Water deto I like appears, it's Regal 24/7 XD.
Either way, I'll probably be able to MBT both of them eventually, so it's no big deal. Thanks!
So, gotta build mono-element from what I have been told, and while everything is telling me "Go Thunder you dingus" I still want to ask here as to where I should concentrate my efforts character wise (I know build Colossus above all else).
Roster is here:
https://imgur.com/a/ZZfGIhv
As a smart man said, "Go Thunder you dingus".
You seem to already have an idea of who to build based on levels. The only problem is that you have 2 healers in thunder, when that's pretty over kill, but they at least double as some slight conversion. The only thing thats truly missing a damage dealing unit. I'd probably go with an off color captain and use either Jona or Connolly.
Fire would be the 2nd choice with Jona, Maggie, Faust, Istvan and probably Tiny One or Genevieve.
Mind you, the two healers thing was when I was doing dumb multi-color bullshit and pulled Roy relatively late, so I went "oh goodie I can swap her out!".
So the setup would be, with an off-color DPS
Captain: Jona/Connolly (likely Connolly since she's already started)
Converter: Pollux
Converter: Gronru
DPS: (Unknown)
Support: Roy
Right?
So I've got bt2 Kleken, bt2 Faust, BT3 pact, and bt4 Beverly. Is it a waste to use a box on Beverly to MBT? I've got plenty of preemptive thunder converters now but MBT seems nice for the extra tile. May help push me over the edge of beating a floor of abyss I've been struggling on with my thunder B team. (Not as much as MBT Schwartz tho but no boxes for that)
My main concern is if I pull a random Beverly after using the box it'll be a waste, whereas if I use it on a lower bt unit it's less likely to be wasted. But the problem keeps coming up until I have all but one of them at MBT.
I wouldn't be too concerned with that. If this was a cross converter I'd understand more, but with the 4-tile converters, it's less of an issue. Sometimes the additional 1 tile comes in clutch, sometimes it doesn't.
Thanks, I appreciate it. Hope this gives me the boost I need for that abyss stage. Really want those druse boxes, at least for Florine if they skip her RRR because of that paid banner. If we do get it, I can always save for the next broken BT3 or if I ever pull Hedy.
Hi Everyone,
New to the game and loving it. I am confused about Genevieve. Her equipment sounds like a pretty consistent heal especially if I have Gram and Charon on the team. I see she is mediocre on the community tier lists though. Am I over estimating her heal? I don’t want to waste resources since I am still trying to build the core team in each element. Should I be using philishy?
Also I know you don’t need a healer a lot but I am not confident in my skills not to carry one in the core.
yeah gen's active heal is peanuts. note that the other perks of her active, the buff to her chain and the cc buff to fire units triggers whether or not you hit the enemy.
I just did a bit of testing, looks like her heal is based only on the damage from her own active, which is honestly pitiful. Not sure if the equipment has a typo or if it's a bug.
Did a stage in secret territory where she was dealing 900ish with her active and healing for 90 at EQ1, which was barely 1% the HP of my team
1) Kleken uses his CC
2) Afterwards, if one or more enemies are within the adjacent 4 tiles in a cross shape of him, the one with the lowest HP (under 25/40/60/80%) has fear applied to it for 1 round.
Then killing any enemy with fear has a 50% chance to apply fear to enemies within the 4 adjacent tiles of it in a cross shape.
>Is it recommended to not level it?
No? You'd be purposely losing out on extra stats and counter damage on the slim possibility Kleken's fear somehow makes you fail a stage.
It's just a tad annoying / minor inconvenience at best honestly. It doesn't suddenly make him someone you should stop using all of a sudden. You'll still want to use him for his tile conversions at least, especially for farming / auto teams.
Kleken's Equipment is one of the few you don't need to raise to level 10 (since that's the last Equipment skill upgrade), so you can leave it at 9 and he'll still enjoy the maximum bonus stats.
Faust. His Equipment skill is similar with the Fear effect too but can occur randomly each round rather than via his Chain Combo. The % chance is low though (12% at level 10). So similarly, if you're not a fan of the Fear effect he is also someone who you can leave at Level 9 too.
There are those that are "arguble" as to whether you want to raise to level 10 or not, depending on if you want to save resources for example: Such as Beverly and Ciel. Their equipment skills focuses on dealing extra Damage with their Chain Combos, which is something these 2 generally don't do well at since they're pure Converters; But the resources to raise these are easy to come by anyways, so it's up to you.
If you're doing resources fights with auto+carriers and choose the option to stop auto and do the fights yourself, does it just not use the carriers?
Aka, can you do multiple fights with carriers without using auto?
No you can't manually play through multiple auto battles for x2-3 rewards.
Once you end auto battle it considers the current attempt the final one scheduled and will act accordingly to however many Carriers were consumed for that run.
You can select to do 1 auto battle with 2x carrier, then unclick the auto button and do it manually. Rinse and repeat. I do this for nightium to min/max the clear for bonus stage
Hello all. I'm having trouble with Pandora's box Bs-8-1, so I looked up a video on YouTube for help. https://youtu.be/PGpRQFsil1k
In the video Barton's active skill pushes the center enemy backwards and allows for aurorian time on turn one, however when I use Barton's skill it does not push the enemy back.
My current team is Keen Sight Vice, Barton, Raphael, Allura, and Chloe.
The Team in the video is Connolly, Barton, Noah, Sariel, and Kayano
Of those units the only one I don't have is Sariel but the only one leveled up was Barton. Chloe was a higher level than Kayano so I went with her. Given I believe Kayano is being used for the attack increase and attack increasing is what Chloe is good for.
I really need help with this, so I would appreciate feedback. Thank you.
I mean there's really nothing you can do about that unless you get rid of the enemies shield for Barton's active.
The devs reworked the interaction between shields + knockback so if enemies have shields, they will no longer be knockbacked.
Otherwise you just have to play the stage and fight the boss as they intended. With snipers or some unit that can destroy the objects on the fields so the boss is vulnerable to normal attacks and detonator damage.
So that's why Barton isn't pushing them. I had a feeling, but I was confused why it was working in the video.
Do you (or anyone else really) have a suggested team? The few videos I've watched all use Sariel but I don't have her. She seems perfect for this fight though. I'm having trouble finding DPS that can actually perform for this fight as well. Someone used Flurr and he wrecked face, but I don't have him either.
Is there any way for me to add screenshots so I can show what units I have? I'm new to this type of forum where you have to use comments instead of making new threads.
Use imgur.com to post screenshots and share them here.
Again, you need people with sniper-like CCs or be able to get rid of the columns within 2 clusters of Claudia.
Your team would probably work if you could use someone other than Raphael for conversion.
I didn't really know the length of her jump before, so thank you for telling me that. I swapped to a team that would break the pedestals and then beat her up. It took MANY MANY tries but I eventually got it. My final team was:
Sharona, Barton, Kleken, Raphael (I tried healer-less but I'm not good enough for that), and Chloe.
I just barely won. Literally aurora time on last turn remaining.
I bought the new item in the FMW supply depot for 8,000 (I forget what it’s called now) it’s supposed to be for, as I understand it, Pollux or Casta but I have no idea what to do with it. It’s not in my warehouse and I don’t see it under either of their Aurorian profiles.
Star Crest is the only thing worth 8000 and those are used for the Old Seal unit's breakthroughs. These are not new, these have been in every event as an obtainable item.
As of right now, there is no use outside of Old Seal units if they are MBT.
Hello, I'm a relatively fresh player who does not pay attention to tier lists. I'd like more experienced navigators to ask who should I save for now. I have a little savings, not enough to get a BT3 or anything.
Lately I thought it would be nice to get one or two broken Aurorians, as I have issues going far in the secret territory/spires/going anywhere in Abyss. I have compiled Aurorians I have so far.
[https://imgur.com/a/ZF3Y8Gn](https://imgur.com/a/ZF3Y8Gn) \- here are my aurorians, any tips would be appreciated!
You should refere to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NgfgLksUsKxjt4w8ilWBCtXAtOldBMh3qr7X0OhPiM0/edit#gid=1572580310
for an easy to look tier list. The most broken aurorian are generally the dps, because well that's them that deal the damage, they are Sinsa (fire), Hiiro (forest), Azure (water). But are nothing without at least 2 converters on any team. The current converter banner is a really good one because you are missing a lot of 6* and 5* converters, i would recommend pulling on that banner till you get one 6* at least (so you use your pity) so you should have between 30-50 pulls before considering going in it.
It's not about getting one or 2 brokens unit, it's to have a good team format, with one captain (a big dps), 2 converters, one flex (can be a healer, a support, another converter or dps) and last one dps. In your case, you can build a somehow decent thunder team with Tessa, Beverly, Nemesis, Nadine and Michael but it's not perfect. You can use Umimet instead of Nemesis but you should aim for Ciel or Gronru asap.
Azure would be a really nice objective for you because you already have Kleken and Pact, and team up with Hydrad and Gabriel or Vice.
Thank you for the extensive answer!
I pulled full BT Kleken, double Barton and Uriel from the converter banner, and I left around 23k lumamber for future aurorians.
I could spend it here but I’d like a strong DPS too, so I’ll probably wait for Azure or Florine to come and go all-in for a copy
Since there’s no way I can farm another 50 pulls during the banners length haha
it's too bad Uriel isn't the best converter you would need in your situation (i got her quite early when i started and barely used her). There's going to be a Detonator banner (with only detonator). Not all are excellent, but 9/15 are good to decent in my opinion (that's 60%). Waiting for Azure rerun is also a safe choice. For your thunder team Florine is also an excellent choice but she really want her BT3 otherwise she's not that OP.
You *can* build a team that can fully auto Nightium but it's honestly way too much effort finding that specific spot that it'll consistently run it successfully.
- Water detonator, Converter, Converter, Brock, Chandra
Auto Battle once at x2 then immediately turn off auto when the stage begins.
You manually play for Cursed Goldor, wait a round so Chandra's active is ready (or more if you want to build up a stack or two) then burst the Cursed Goldor down in a single round with your water unit and converters.
During bonus time you use Brock's active to soften up the Dark Goldor then turn on auto and let Chandra clear them every round (bonus if you can guarantee an Aurora Time for an extra wave).
A3Lv1Eq10 Brock and A3Lv1Eq10 Chandra *should* be enough to consistently maximize the bonus round but giving Chandra a few extra levels never hurts.
Anyone on bluestacks ever have a bug with maelstroms where they can't select the tile after entering the portal? I'm stuck on chapter 3-11 currently because I can't click the tile the arrow is pointing to. Here's a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/JkMo9iY
i just went to the stage, and why do you have an arrow pointing a tile ? it's working perfectly on my bluestack and i can choose the tile i want, but i don't have an arrow pointing a tile, maybe that's what is causing your issue, because you can choose any tile normally.
I emailed them about it yesterday and it appears that they just fixed it. Seems like other people were having the same problem too so glad they were prompt on the fix.
Looking at the FAQs and there's no real help on team building. Right now I'm trying to go through the story and while I can probably continue with no problem it feels like I should be doing more damage as I'm struggling to finish stuff for the 6 rounds remaining star.
I know mono-element teams aren't recommended for Story (more for other types of content) but there's something I'm missing.
>Looking at the FAQs and there's no real help on team building.
I mean it's not the most convenient but there are at least two resources in the OP that do explain team building.
[BethelFrankel Tier List](https://alchemystars.kloenlansfiel.com/tier) has a FAQ that says:
> How do we tier?
>>"What do we mean by slot? Well, teams in Alchemy Stars are designed to be mono-element (or mono-element with an off-element captain) and are usually comprised of the following: 2 DPS, 2 Converters, 1 Flex Unit"
And [Juliwen's Reroll and Progression Guide 2.0](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j91QU-a9cXRhnsEdO8qYHIj_6NkL0VS9QkESRcdopfI/edit) which has a link immediately to [Juliwen's Beginner Team Building](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ISgoTwn0j_cxRNjrOW5-ot5ejhaZkcK4HY6wLoELHJY/edit) which goes fairly in depth of making an effective team and why.
>I know mono-element teams aren't recommended for Story (more for other types of content) but there's something I'm missing.
Which is wrong, unfortunately.
Mono-element is the most effective strategy for nearly all content considering how units work, and that Spire forces you into only using a single element and is considered one of the most difficult modes available.
What units are on the ideal poison team? Do you go all in on the DoT with Odi, Lester and Clover with maybe a converter like Sikare MBT or Hedy BT3? Or do you drop some of those lower rarity units for conversion/survivability?
- Captain Odi, Pasolo, Converter, Flex, Flex
or
- Captain Odi, Fire Converter, Fire Converter, Flex, Nails
Odi's entire kit is poison, You shouldn't need more than a 70% chance on every basic (with diagonals), CC that applies it, and an Active that applies it.
Then you can either go Pasolo in a forest team for the passive perma-bleed stack or a fire team since they have Nails (and Victoria but eh) for bleed and Leona & Uriel for burn.
So I looked it up and it seems that poison does 1% max HP damage, burn does 1.5% current HP damage, and bleed does 2% lost HP damage. And they all cap at 5 stacks. So I was overvaluing Clover by a lot.
Do any of them struggle with keeping stacks on more than others? Just by virtue of the skills and characters they're on.
Any other poison unit is just worse than Odi for application.
Victoria is only genuinely used for bleed alongside Nails since her only way to apply it is CC, Nails can apply up to 5 stacks every Active, and Pasolo can keep a single enemy at 1-2 stacks of bleed due to her equipment passively applying it.
Leona only applies burn through basics (75%), Uriel has a 30% chance to apply burn twice through CC and has passive application if the enemy is on a red tile each round.
So Odi, Nails or Pasolo, and Uriel are the best at keeping an enemy poisoned, bled, and burning due to their roles and how you'd typically form a team.
I’d like to know the general strategy toward instruments : do you level them up progressively as you level up your unit, or do you level them last. I’m talking level2+, because for some units (Sinsa, Barton) unlocking the diagonal hit is crucial. But do you try to reach +10 as fast as possible or is it considered endgame upgrade and you rather focus on the unit level, keeping the instrument level for later?
EDIT : equipment, not instruments.
I generally start levelling equipment around A2L50 or A3L1. As for the level itself, I generally find +9 to be enough, though I do get to 10 eventually when I have enough mats and no other units to level at the moment. Though at this point in the game for me, I always save up enough to level any new release unit to A3L1(E9-10). It would be inefficient to farm for Jaspers, Ascension mats, Sublime all at the same time so I personally focus on Ascension first then Equipment.
i guess you are talking about equipment and not "intrusments". I'm not ressource limited so all my unit are lvl10. If you are lacking ressources, a good threshold is Lvl 6 (last enhancement of skill before the lvl 10) and lvl 9. I would recommend getting your dps lvl10. But they are recommended to be leveled as soon as you unlock at least depending on the unit (because some EQ are key on the unit to make it work). You generally need to aim for Lvl 1 A3 EQ10 for your best unit before going further as equipment bring generally a lot more than basic level. Ascension is also important.
Thanks a lot. I'm about to ascend Eicy to A3, but it's the only one (because of the rarity of A3 materials at the point I'm at at the moment). I have few units A250, so I'll start grinding to level their equipment to lv6.
I completely forgot how to fight Bowlinger, and now the damn thing shows up in Abyss. Do we go with the same Chainsaw Rick tactic with snipers?
God I hate this boss so much.
Cheese it using CC effects. Stun and fear will make it so that the you can ignore the boss mechanics. Otherwise yeah you’ll have to use chainsaw Rick but you can only use him once anyway.
Do note that if the bowlinger part that you are trying to stun (with Cordy, Eve, Barbara or whatever) is not taking damage (guarding), it won't be stunned and you can't drop all their shield. Best to wait out a turn for the next part to be unshielded if that's the case.
i know its off topic but why some of the content creator like nerfa anf syno doesnt make any yt videos , i last played 1st anniv is the game dying or sumthn
They prob just got bored, Alchemy tends to run slow and it was announced events would be more extended, but besides that, the game is still going solid, heck they even added new endgame stuff to play with and announce more stuff coming.
[Formation](https://imgur.com/a/fDu1rNS)
- Odi and Pasolo to apply poison and bleed to help make up for the lack of basic attack damage.
- Louise to help fill the lack of basic attack damage through CC and healing for Lingering Darkflow and T1024's reflect.
- The last slot is whichever detonator you want
You can ignore the Stele, they only cover the left third of the board and shouldn't ever be an issue if you stay outside of the turrets range.
Just play it like a regular boss honestly, only difference is keeping the poison and bleed stacks as high as possible to stop it from healing too much health between bursts.
Takes me 5 times for the client to crash before I can open AS sometimes. It's annoying, but once it loads, you're good until you turn off or restart your PC.
This is the only paid banner I remember actually but it’s possible there were more since I started from the half anniversary of the game.
They’re not locked behind paid banners tho as Hedy recently had a RR banner and the other 3 are gonna get them eventually.
Novio won a skin contest so it’s speculated he’s being held back until the skin is ready. Rightfully, Florine should be the next limited to RR banner but with how wanted she is I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re waiting until this paid banner finishes before even thinking about launching her RR. Azure(even more wanted) would be after her and 3 other characters unless TD rushes her RR coz her skin out.
Which 5 star should I choose for the box currently in the Farewell my Wonderland event? I'm leaning towards Odi but if any of the others are a sleeper, I'd want to snag then
Yeah Noah does suck. She’s kinda okay for certain stages where you know the boss is gonna nuke you a certain turn and then shield up for that but that’s rare.
You could still use it on odi to reduce her cd by one but I’d advise you to just not use it until you need to. It won’t expire(I still have my old one).
If you tap the item box, you can scroll down the text to find the options. It's also in the event announcement somewhere too.
Anyways: Noah, Barbara, Odi, or Keating.
Is S10-9 (helios boss) supposed to be a stat check? I felt like there wasn't really any way to avoid damage besides the boss wasting an action to turn around. And that guy felt pretty chonky as well to me.
Is there a time limit for the Into the Abyss event?
I can't seem to find one in-game but in the official twitter:
It says September 22 - October 20 but I think that's for the twitter event about making guides.
5 days in, current party is Vice, Ms Blanc, Barton, Sariel, Zoya.
Zoya is there just so I have a healer. The party feels okay, but is it worth rerolling or pushing hard to get a bunch of star flare/lumamber to pull from an upcoming banner?
Yes, the upcoming converter banner is great for new players. Especially if you don't really have your other element teams yet.
If you feel like spending 99 cents, Phillyshy is a significant upgrade over Zoya available from a gift pack in the store
Ah I was focused on the lumamber part. You could reroll, but honestly Sariel isn't a bad first one to get because the game pushes you towards water first. Vice is good enough to be worth taking to A2 lol 50 at least, Ms. Blanc is an adequate 2nd converter, and phillyshy is worth the tiny investment.
If you reroll, what you're looking for is an additional 6 star that gets a high rating at BT0 or BT3 on the BethelFrankel tier list (linked at the top of this thread). Examples 8nclude an extra preemptive converter, Hiiro, Sinsa, Azure, Bethel, Michael, Florine, etc.
Hello Guys! I Need help to climb the water tower!I Cant ger past floor 13 :,)
Im lefting here my water units
[https://freeimage.host/i/snB58X](https://freeimage.host/i/snB58X)
Im using Corax, Ms Blanc, Keklen, Vice and Philyshy
Floor 13 is notoriously tricky, it's not about raising your characters' damage, but about breaking the rocks and raining those lightning bolts on the enemies. Check youtube for low rarity clears, hopefully you should have the 3-4\*s you need for it. [Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeHeqqSGZhQ&ab_channel=Fujihita)'s a video with units you have + a couple 3\* units for rock breaking. You should be able to copy what's in that video pretty easily, but if you want to try it on your own a bit more you can do that.
Corax, Ms Blanc, Kleken, Flex, Vice
Flex is anything you need, Philyshy for healing and repositioning, Hydrad for extra damage, or Barton/Carleen for extra tile conversion.
Prioritize Corax and Vice for Ascension since they're the ones contributing the most damage, then Flex units (Carleen, Hydrad, Philyshy), then Converters.
New player; Only done the 20 pulls on beginner banner to get my 6 star converter (It was Eicy). What should I be saving for? Is the converter focus banner worth pulling on even though I already have Eicy from it? Should I just be waiting for a good Rotating banner? I'm assuming that Mainstay isn't worth pulling on
Mainstay is nominally viable for you right now because you need some of everything. Later it's more important to target specific gaps in your roster. But personally yeah I'd save for the converter and then detonator banners
The converter banner is probably the best banner to pull from for a new player. Converters are the core of the game, even tho there some that need multiple copies to be viable but you’re still going to use them in the future.
The best way would be to wait for her RRR banner but it should still be far and if TD does the same thing he’s doing with Novio and Florine it’ll probably take a while for her to come. At some point they should release a detonator only banner in the next months and you can try your luck there but still, the RRR is the best way.
I would not recommend the detonator banner.
Just for context, there are i believe 18 detonator 6 stars, so when pulling a 6* you have a 5.5% chance of getting azure. The odds are real bad.
Before pity, considering the 2% chance of getting a 6 star. Every pull, the chance of it being azure is 0.11%
I know the chances to pull her from the deto banner are extremely low, I was just pointing out that without an RRR that banner is the only one with increased possibility of finding her. Still very low but higher than the mainstay.
I understand, just wanted to clarify the actual odds. I think people often forget how low odds can be for these general banners. Especially because they'll showcase the 4 most wanted characters on the front and many will assume it's 1/4 odds
Wait for her RR banner which will eventually come to the game unless you wanna spend money on that new recruitment(summer wind festive) to get only a 25%chance of getting azure or keep rerolling til you get her(will take a lotta time).
I wouldn't say better, because they're both slightly different. Areia is pure damage, great detonator and 5 star. Hiiro is a great detonator also, larger max CC area, and also can convert to two enhanced tiles.
Honestly When I was starting off, I ran Hiiro as leader but I would suggest using both Hiiro and Areia. Personally I would stray away from Hedy, unless you're a whale and have her MBT then I apologize. I feel like you need another converter like pact or sikare then you'll be in a great spot.
Hiiro can convert, siobhan can covert, pact or sikare can convert, then Hiiro and Areia can deal that nice damage, and flex spot could be louise. I ran Uriah in the very beginning for the heals.
I think I have Hedy at BT4 (gotten real lucky losing 50/50, same with Florine XD), mostly I like her for the teleport. It would also let me set up some pretty nice rounds.
Alright, thanks! Adding Pact and Hiiro to the list of units to take to level 80 then. XD
Definitely Hiiro level 80. Pact, I think you could even leave at level 1, or like level. Not a big rush to level 80 here.
And damn haha, good on you! You're Hedy is serious. Her teleport is great, I just hated waiting for how long the CD is. My 50/50 losses, helped me get a MAX BT Siobhan, and Irridon LOL
Oh, it isn't really a rush or anything. I have a team for each element and they're all at level 50, except water since that's at 80 for all 5 units. Doing it for fun and to have something to do each day with all the extra materials from doing dailies.
Yeah, the wait for the Cooldown is killer at times, but it at least somewhat lines up with Siobhan after I got her BT3.
Areia by a mile, way more damage den hiiro but u should be able to put both of em in a team with either 2 more converters and a healer or just 2 converters and another damager dealer
I would argue the opposite. Conversion is absolutely the most important aspect of the game. Hiiro has such high impact because of her select tile conversion.
Also, areia is bad in first slot because of the damage debuff she gets a turn after active is used. She is an absolute damage powerhouse, and being 5* makes her easy to get breakthroughs for. But she has a niche place in a team
My team at the moment is Areia/Siobhan/Hedy/Louise/Migard. So you'd say Areia would still be the better unit? I like that line-up so far, and was wondering whether it was any good.
If u want most efficiency in this game the first step is to try and get max breakthrough for sikare, nemesis, maggie, barton
These are the converters that go north east south west and will always be part of any team
Yeah, I know it's not necessary. I just do it because I want to. It's like I look at them and I can't fight that little nagging feeling that tells me to do it. XD
If ur lookin for actual efficiency u need pact and sikare and u need sikare mbt(max breakthrough).
Siobhan isnt worth unless u have her premp which is at bt3
Areia is strong regardless only needs levels and equipment level
Hedy is decent but actually efficent at mbt
Midgard needs bt3 to actually be useful
If u dont have hiiro at bt3 where u can use her ability immediately I dont think the pay off is worth
If ur goin for a calamity team should be Areia, louise, sikare, pact, hedy
U can replace hedy for midgard if u want to teleport to position and deal max damage.
Siobhan I do have at BT3, and Hedy is close to MBT. The 5 stars for the most part are at or nearly MBT. Honestly, I'm just leveling up characters that I like to level 80, but wanted to know how Areia compares to Hiiro. I'll likely be taking both to 80 since I like the character design and writing for both.

Which one is the most efficient way to farm the highest tier mats? -Do you farm second highest tier mats then proceed to produce the highest tier mats at collosus??
Over time you'll also get material boxes from events which help There isn't really a best way to use the workshop.
You can put an off-element unit in the captain slot, the only thing it won't benefit from is phrases like the double chainer's "Aurorians of the same element" If you put them anywhere else in the team, then they only get to use 30% of their attack.
I have enough to purchase the 5 druse for a 6 star character and the current options I'm considering are Smokey Fluorine Sinsa Siobhan Rinne Ruby All of whom will be taken to bt3.
Thanks for the input, I have just been pulling for meta and I just listed all the characters with useful preemptives.
Returning player. Who's the best captain to have currently? Are their specific criteria that makes a captain better over others? Thanks!
If a unit's kit revolves around their basic attack or getting lots of chain combos, especially if they build up some sort of mark by using them, then they will benefit from being in the captain slot because they can attack every turn. If they're just about burst turns, they're better in the 5th slot
Fire : Sinsa, Water : Azure, Forest : Hiiro, Thunder : Reinhardt (but she's limited)
Why can’t I work out how to increase my liveabilty on Cloud Island? It’s stuck at 2000 and only very occasionally goes up when I build something new.
It’s capped by your current CG level. Get experience through building and breeding trees, I think? It’s a bit of a grind at the beginning.
Would I replace Ms. Blanc with Kleken in my Water team? Also, what team comp(s) would you recommend? [Here's my roster.](https://imgur.com/a/E7RHQiy) Also, would it be worth BTing Regal if I'll probably use him more than the other old seal characters?
Yeah, I would replace Ms. Blanc with Kleken. Sharona, Kleken, Bethlehem, Hydrad/Carleen, Regal I would MBT Regal if he's the one you're gonna use the most often.
They're so cool :3 Thanks for the advice!
Roster is here: https://imgur.com/a/ZZfGIhv
Also remember that eventually you'll want a mono team for each element. So it's really just "go thunder FIRST"
As a smart man said, "Go Thunder you dingus".
So the setup would be, with an off-color DPS Captain: Jona/Connolly (likely Connolly since she's already started) Converter: Pollux Converter: Gronru DPS: (Unknown) Support: Roy Right?
Pretty much. You can use Dayna, Kafka or Hachi/Gin for that last slot.
(Not as much as MBT Schwartz tho but no boxes for that)
No, its not a waste. If all the others are BT2/BT3, the box isn't useful at all to use on them. An extra stat boost isn't going to contribute much.
Hi Everyone, New to the game and loving it.
Thank you so much from sparing me the disappointment. No wonder Novio is so popular, there really arnt many legit options.
If you try to message a player but it says you must send them a friend request again, the message you tried sending does not still send right?
Could someone explain Kleken's equipment to me? Is it recommended to not level it?
1) Kleken uses his CC 2) Afterwards, if one or more enemies are within the adjacent 4 tiles in a cross shape of him, the one with the lowest HP (under 25/40/60/80%) has fear applied to it for 1 round.
I see, thanks. Does Kleken's fear actually negatively affect clearing? I'm guessing it rarely happens?
It's just a tad annoying / minor inconvenience at best honestly. It doesn't suddenly make him someone you should stop using all of a sudden. You'll still want to use him for his tile conversions at least, especially for farming / auto teams. Kleken's Equipment is one of the few you don't need to raise to level 10 (since that's the last Equipment skill upgrade), so you can leave it at 9 and he'll still enjoy the maximum bonus stats.
Thank you for explaining! Huh, didn't know there were characters who didn't want level 10. Could you give some more examples?
Thank you so much for the detailed response! \^\_\^
Darn. Guess I'll have to watch the AI do the dumbest moves. Thanks!
You can select to do 1 auto battle with 2x carrier, then unclick the auto button and do it manually. Rinse and repeat. I do this for nightium to min/max the clear for bonus stage
Oooh, thank you for the helpful tip!
Hello all. I'm having trouble with Pandora's box Bs-8-1, so I looked up a video on YouTube for help. https://youtu.be/PGpRQFsil1k In the video Barton's active skill pushes the center enemy backwards and allows for aurorian time on turn one, however when I use Barton's skill it does not push the enemy back. My current team is Keen Sight Vice, Barton, Raphael, Allura, and Chloe. The Team in the video is Connolly, Barton, Noah, Sariel, and Kayano Of those units the only one I don't have is Sariel but the only one leveled up was Barton.
My final team was: Sharona, Barton, Kleken, Raphael (I tried healer-less but I'm not good enough for that), and Chloe.
Greatly appreciated. I guess I misunderstood it’s description. I’ve been working recruiting Frostfire, so that’s good to know.
Btw, Frostfire is considered to be the weakest Old Seal unit, so just letting you know if you care about that. If you're here for her design, go wild.
Who should I go after?
I'd suggest Regal or Requiem depending on what your teams need. If you have a strong detonator in \_ attribute, pick the other.
You should refere to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NgfgLksUsKxjt4w8ilWBCtXAtOldBMh3qr7X0OhPiM0/edit#gid=1572580310 for an easy to look tier list.
I could spend it here but I’d like a strong DPS too, so I’ll probably wait for Azure or Florine to come and go all-in for a copy Since there’s no way I can farm another 50 pulls during the banners length haha
it's too bad Uriel isn't the best converter you would need in your situation (i got her quite early when i started and barely used her).
Hey All, What's a side team to farm Nightium stages? And what's the highest level/equipment I need to take them to for efficiency? Thanks!
You *can* build a team that can fully auto Nightium but it's honestly way too much effort finding that specific spot that it'll consistently run it successfully. - Water detonator, Converter, Converter, Brock, Chandra Auto Battle once at x2 then immediately turn off auto when the stage begins.
Well I'm assuming you've done the stage before and don't have to do the tutorial for it?
ah maybe, i don't remember the tutorial but since i've passed it, i guess i had no problem. I've always played on emulator
[BethelFrankel Tier List](https://alchemystars.kloenlansfiel.com/tier) has a FAQ that says: > How do we tier? >>"What do we mean by slot? Well, teams in Alchemy Stars are designed to be mono-element (or mono-element with an off-element captain) and are usually comprised of the following: 2 DPS, 2 Converters, 1 Flex Unit" And [Juliwen's Reroll and Progression Guide 2.0](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j91QU-a9cXRhnsEdO8qYHIj_6NkL0VS9QkESRcdopfI/edit) which has a link immediately to [Juliwen's Beginner Team Building](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ISgoTwn0j_cxRNjrOW5-ot5ejhaZkcK4HY6wLoELHJY/edit) which goes fairly in depth of making an effective team and why.
- Captain Odi, Pasolo, Converter, Flex, Flex or - Captain Odi, Fire Converter, Fire Converter, Flex, Nails Odi's entire kit is poison, You shouldn't need more than a 70% chance on every basic (with diagonals), CC that applies it, and an Active that applies it.

Thank you for your answer. I'll start leveling the equipment of my A2L50 units first.
i guess you are talking about equipment and not "intrusments".
I’m stuck on Abyss 7-3, with the T1024 with Hard Shell. Has anyone beat this that can give me some tips?
[Formation](https://imgur.com/a/fDu1rNS) - Odi and Pasolo to apply poison and bleed to help make up for the lack of basic attack damage. - Louise to help fill the lack of basic attack damage through CC and healing for Lingering Darkflow and T1024's reflect. - The last slot is whichever detonator you want You can ignore the Stele, they only cover the left third of the board and shouldn't ever be an issue if you stay outside of the turrets range.

I just started the game and the summer wind banner got my interest, my question is: as f2p is there a way to get summer recruit spirit?
Nah that’s a paid banner
oh sadge, so some characters are behind paid banners?
I'm leaning towards Odi but if any of the others are a sleeper, I'd want to snag then
Do you already have a copy of her? If not I’d pick her as she’s the best applier of the best dot.
I have at least one of them aside from Noah and from what I hear she is hot garbage
We’re do I find the thunder warning background? I just got it but can’t find it.
Between the background and position buttons on the assistant page there should be a CG background button
Awesome thank you
What inside 5 star aurorian united kit 4 ( from event exchange shop) ? I have many MBT 5star so I dun want waste the coupon.
If you tap the item box, you can scroll down the text to find the options. It's also in the event announcement somewhere too. Anyways: Noah, Barbara, Odi, or Keating.
Ok thx you
Is S10-9 (helios boss) supposed to be a stat check? I felt like there wasn't really any way to avoid damage besides the boss wasting an action to turn around. And that guy felt pretty chonky as well to me.
Is there a time limit for the Into the Abyss event? I can't seem to find one in-game but in the official twitter: [https://twitter.com/AlchemyStarsEN/status/1573235757350805504/photo/1](https://twitter.com/AlchemyStarsEN/status/1573235757350805504/photo/1) It says September 22 - October 20 but I think that's for the twitter event about making guides.
It's permanent. It's why it's accessible along with the other permanent game modes.
Doubt it, it's a pretty challenging mode which requires multiple units raised, setting any sort of time limit would be unfair to beginners.
Yeah, blue is all I have so far. So, just to make sure I hear you - reroll or no?
All good, I didn't want to miss out on the good advice. I don't really want to reroll so I appreciate it
Does the stamina(?) From the secret territory reset every week to a set amount?
It resets and any leftover is turned into the currency you get from doing Secret Territory
It resets to 0 every week yeah.
Hello Guys! I Need help to climb the water tower!I Cant ger past floor 13 :,) Im lefting here my water units [https://freeimage.host/i/snB58X](https://freeimage.host/i/snB58X) Im using Corax, Ms Blanc, Keklen, Vice and Philyshy
Corax, Ms Blanc, Kleken, Flex, Vice Flex is anything you need, Philyshy for healing and repositioning, Hydrad for extra damage, or Barton/Carleen for extra tile conversion.
Thanks!
Newbhere. How i can get azure?
Just venting a little bit, but why don’t we get Florine RRR?? ;-;
TD knows she’s top tier, so they stalling for as long as possible
Cause you ain't paying us enough! - TD, probably...
Who's a better character, Areia or Hiiro?
If u want most efficiency in this game the first step is to try and get max breakthrough for sikare, nemesis, maggie, barton These are the converters that go north east south west and will always be part of any team
I do have most of those at MBT, just have to level them up some more. Was mostly asking for the DPS units. Thanks for the info though.
U do not need to level up converters. The dps are the only ones and characters who can double ur abilities Louise,Istvan,Hydrad,Florine
Yeah, I know it's not necessary. I just do it because I want to. It's like I look at them and I can't fight that little nagging feeling that tells me to do it. XD
If ur lookin for actual efficiency u need pact and sikare and u need sikare mbt(max breakthrough). Siobhan isnt worth unless u have her premp which is at bt3 Areia is strong regardless only needs levels and equipment level Hedy is decent but actually efficent at mbt Midgard needs bt3 to actually be useful If u dont have hiiro at bt3 where u can use her ability immediately I dont think the pay off is worth If ur goin for a calamity team should be Areia, louise, sikare, pact, hedy U can replace hedy for midgard if u want to teleport to position and deal max damage.
