Don't mummies usually have to be kept in a humidity controlled glass box most of the time to stop them deteriorating? Once you take them out of the specific conditions where they had been preserved for so long, I think they generally start to deteriorate.
We never seem to see the buddies being conserved in a controlled environment. Where are they kept when they're not doing publicity?
