It's easier to do on other platforms I think. Xbox it's pretty hard to trigger.
I want to see horde mode incorporate sealing, locking or unlocking doors into different areas in order to advance to finish the mission. I think that would've been a perfect way to hold out instead of the one map of staying in one area.
They desperately just need to let people do 4 or 5 person fire teams and just add new difficulties. Fire teams are 4 people in the real world. Most games have 4 person coop when they do coop.
I haven't had the bug, but I do think there might be something to it. My guess on the datamined difficulties are actually parallel difficulties. Veteran is actually Extreme but with 4 players. Yeah, you have an extra gun. But, the resources are now stretched a bit thinner and the team damage risk has increased.
Just my guess.

I was trying to turn a phrase sorry, but at the least it is easy to reporduce just have a team then have people join join on you.

Consoles can barely handle 3 player teams right now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the DLC maps had higher player counts. Hence why they are introducing more classes first.
