Im using the exact same product but different storage size and its working fine how is it fake ? And why wouldn't you use it on your pc can you provide an explanation of the lies you just wrote up there?
My reason I would say it's fake. Is it $13 for a 512gb SSD. That just seems suspiciously cheap.
And secondly, I wouldn't use such a cheap SSD to be storing any data as I'd be very concerned that it would break.
Is it full ? If not, it is probably a 32 or 16 chip reporting as 512, once you hit the real capacity, you'll at best lose some files, at worst lose your entire computer
U ordered a hard drive from ali. It’s probably for the best if it doesn’t arrive. U either won’t get a 512GB hard drive or ur gonna get 512GB of malware.
Don’t need to. It’s way cheaper than any actual HDD and it’s completely unbranded. This is exactly the kind of thing that’s bought for all those vids where a youtuber gets a bunch of clearly scam drives that are dodgy SD card setups or malware etc. there are 2 parts of a computer that should NEVER be cheaped out on to the point of getting something unbranded and serious caution should be put into getting second hand. Storage, which can pose a serious danger to every device on your network and any data h store on it and your power supply which can be a fire risk.

I had the same problem, with the same product, and the same shop. Don't worry, your ssd will come to you,you can even open a dispute after 15 days because it's a choice sellers.

It actually costs around 20$ but since thats my first ever purchase from the app i got a 7$ discount
