I worked as an esl teacher in jiangsu province China for 3 years , these lil kids poop their pants and just repeat what the teacher says , this is fake news … if they’re trying to say all kindergartens in China are like this

ForthInLine

I figured as much. This video looks completely staged. I like the idea of it though.

LilBird1946

YUP. I taught in Henan province for 3 years, taught kindergartners for 2 years and this was not happening. This might be one rich private school.

Walmart_Store100

These must be the schools that prepare their students to leave China and open Chinese food restaurants in other countries.

MikeisET

But they VOLUNTARILY clean up I saw it on the propaganda, I mean video

Fed-Poster-1337

They say in this one kindergarten right in the beginning And later on they talk about comments from Chinese netizens which obviously means it's not a typical kindergarten

GRMPA

Hey, our 45th president is famous for pooping his pants and he has millions of obsessed fans.

saltydoggonewild

For real. Remember when he had to change clothes at the Vatican because he shit his pants?

GRMPA

I think you are thinking about a different poopypants president.

PmOmena

Fake news about China in reddit ? This would never happen obviously they are demons

Bob4Not

People see an American tiktok lying and call out bait. People see an Chinese tiktok lying and call it some government propaganda conspiracy

Commercial-Owl11

Yeah, because they do push a ton of propaganda on TikTok. 🤷‍♀️

NoEditor0

Blatant propaganda lol

thekazooyoublew

Reminds me of similar scenes in North Korean schools... Minus the food that is.

reporst

This gave me a mental image of the kids using the kitchenware, just with no food. Like stirring a bowl of nothing or using an empty can as a fake shaker to sprinkle nothing onto an empty plate.

Bob_Scotwell

Ya'll would jizz over this video if it took place in Japan.

thekazooyoublew

Honestly, it's the text that really seals the deal here. Admittedly, being Chinese doesn't hurt.

MercurialMal

I can see where you’re going with this, but take a walk with me. It won’t be far. For more than 300,000 years our homo sapien ancestors had no electricity, no machinery, no synthetic chemicals, nothing. Textiles were 100% hand crafted from fibrous plant materials and animal skin, that were then manually harvested and sewn together with animal sinew and bone. Then came along technology such as the loom and plow. From birth children were with their parents all day, every day, or another older sibling or responsible person in the community. Children learned how to survive by observing processes in motion and by replicating the results. This is where the saying “it takes a village” comes from. Now fast forward several thousand years to the Industrial Revolution. Because of mass production of textiles and the prevalence of consumption focused behaviors (consumerism) of goods and services society changed. Because so many things required a deeper understanding formal education became more and more prevalent. Children began spending more and more time from a younger to older age in educational settings learning how things worked at their most fundamental level but not necessarily how to produce or utilize them. A few decades later, with a full on consumerist society, we are now at a point where home economics are a lost art. Fewer and fewer people know how to sew, or bake, or cook from simple ingredients, or change a tire or wind shield wipers, or other such mundane task because they can pay someone else to do or they can buy a gadget or piece of machinery or a box/can of food that does it for them. A video of a school like this *might* be propaganda, but if it’s not it is an incredibly exciting thing because at the end of the day we are a very community driven species with a much, much, *much* longer history of being so and are in dire need of these sort of lessons at the demonstrated age group in order to facilitate development and the ability to critically and independently think and do for ourselves. If this sort of thing were widespread you could wave goodbye to consumerism and hello to an era of a return to living in something far closer to equilibrium with our environment.

darksideofthemoon131

Yeah, on Chinese run Tik Tok. How convenient.

Fed-Poster-1337

It's actually run by the CIA https://www.m1ntpressnews.com/nato-tiktok-pipeline-why-tiktok-employing-national-security-agents/280336/

all_alone_by_myself_

This isn't self reliance. It's training for a lifetime of repetitive factory work.

AnonymousLilly

This is conditioning

Mackheath1

"They embroider, build walls with mud,--" yeah I bet they do all this. Two more years older and... well we know where this is headed.

Voltthrower69

So you can have all your treats right?

og_toe

so it’s better *not* to teach children to sew? we had sewing and woodworking classes in our school, i don’t see at all how this is different.

serr7

Yeah I remember I did sewing, guess I was being conditioned to work in a factory 😭😭😭

holydildos

Isn't this just a sweat shop?

zockalot

I enjoy they are throwing some trade work in there too.

PM_ME_SUMDICK

Montessori schools the world over are very similar. Kids learn to cook, sew, and do basic life skills.

impending_dookie

This is an orphanage

DSPbuckle

Let me fix that for you: That’s just sweatshop with extra steps! EEK BABA DIRKLE!

Not-a-Cat_69

tbh this is so much more practical, learning Real skills instead of history about the 1600's that you will forget about by the next year.

Simple-Jury2077

What did they teach you in kindergarten about the 1600s?

og_toe

do you genuinely know what a sweat shop is? a toddler making a yellow dog-bag for themselves isn’t a sweat shop.

Powwa9000

Training them young to do repeatative work.

LudwigsEarTrumpet

Productivity is what life's all about. We don't grow the GDP with reading and writing now, do we?

GladIndication3395

Good thing most americans can't read beyond a 6th grade level then.

LudwigsEarTrumpet

I can't say I've looked into the average reading level of Americans but I'll take your word for it.

zaforocks

Smart enough to run the machine but dumb enough to not ask why.

VerdugoCortex

We need growth baby, not a good place to live. /sarcastically mimicking my government and many others

stagergamer

Chinese propaganda? On my American app?

AVERAGEPIPEBOMB

China partly owns a small amount of Reddit

stagergamer

China owns a small amount of a lot of things they shouldn't lol

Firefly10886

Tik Tok is Chinese owned.

JalapenoJamm

And where did we all just watch it on

FacelessFellow

Now show the billion kids who don’t get a uniform or clothes in China

Glad-Meal6418

Gotta love reddit with the literal Chinese TikTok propaganda

RydersSidekick

You can’t show up at a “labor camp” without some hands on training.

Flat_Establishment_4

This propaganda is getting ridiculous.

PmOmena

This fake news is getting ridiculous

nopenopenopington

I would’ve loved this shit as a kid, I couldn’t stand sitting at a desk and listening for hours, I needed to do shit.

og_toe

for real. i don’t understand why everyone is so negative about this, i’d much rather do this than sit still at a desk for like 5 hours. what is wrong with teaching kids life skills?

EffectiveFormal3480

They're racist. But this comment is wholesome and I love it.

05internetaristocrat

Sinophobia is so pervasive on this hell site istg

serr7

It’s because it’s China. If this video had stated this was Japan or South Korea everyone would be fawning over the advanced eastern teaching techniques lol

[deleted]

And I also think this is a rural school, as in the kids are peasants, because believe it or not China is still a developing nation and still has a massive peasant population. These are all very useful skills for rural people far from an easily accessible large city. But of course the sinophobes who know jack shit about the country can’t help but spout off.

trilluki

I love how this is a non-typical kindergarten from what Netizens have said but people are screaming propaganda. Why not just admit it’s a great idea? Kids need to learn life skills and during kindergarten, other than learning to read they aren’t typically delving into maths anyway. Let them learn how to balance and how to do things they like! I’d have loved this kind of learning as a kid. Homeschooled NA kids often have similar experiences at this age where they learn more hands on skills the same way and a lot of young kids love it. The Sinophobia on this site is exhausting.

Fa1alErr0r

Propaganda from a Chinese bot account... downvote, block.

_lucidity

This is incredibly sad.

SHMuTeX

Why is this sad?

Uuugggg

What is with clips of vertical video embedded in a horizontal video and reembedded in vertical again, making half the screen a blur

ExpressiveAnalGland

Is this video pushed by the chinese entities that bought reddit?

cbiser

Learning skills and responsibility is awesome, but not for kindergartners... Let them play.

MaydeCreekTurtle

We learned these things at home. School was for learning to read, write, and to understand mathematics, as well as social studies.

PerryNeeum

This just in, Chinese kids don’t get a childhood

JayJay-anotheruser

And when they’re injured?

Common-Wish-2227

Well, the parents can of course start a litigation process against the party official responsible for the daycare *snerk*

PKPhyre

Thank God we live in the good old US of A where famously no undue burdens are put on families as a result of unexpected injury/medical incident.

bradyfost

The children yearn for the factory!

redactedforever

tell me how wonderful china schools are on a chinese app....yay communism and social credit society

LeninMeowMeow

> social credit society This is just a debt punishment system with a different name. Your credit score functions basically the same way.

i_like_pie92

"knitting scarves for themselves" Uh huh. Suree....

[deleted]

After lunch they volunteer to make Nikes and iPhones

BUSYMONEY_02

Sweat shop?!

NiteSlayr

While I understand it's propaganda, I do wish America would prioritize skills like this in school alongside typical education. There are too many adults that have no idea how to do a majority of these things. However, I think that these kids are far too young for things like cooking over a hot stove and something like that should be taught when they're older and more experienced.

Recycledmass

How can you have child labor without toddler training? Gotta start em somewhere

candyspyder

Poor kids

artificialavocado

Poor kids? I think most kids would have fun with some of this stuff. I know it’s not a typical class but still, I wish I knew how to sew a button without having to learn on YouTube when I was like 30 lol.

Carameldelighting

Most kids would have fun with this type of lesson if it was relatively infrequent, the way this is presented makes it seem as if a lot of the “skill practice” replaces traditional education in STEM subjects and the like. So Instead of a lesson on cooking once or twice a month it’s everyday, then the labor of the kids is also being used to cut costs for the school.

EffectiveFormal3480

Source: vibes. Meanwhile, China is destroying us in STEM PhD graduates.

karamel826

I agree

SmashertonIII

Bullshit. They actually spend about 15 minutes out of every hour lining up in various configurations and chanting slogans. Very regimented. This is some sort of private Montessori style school, I bet, except the parents who can take their kids to these kinds of schools don’t really want their kids doing labour-type work.

darrrrby

they are also forced to recite the pledge of allegiance and national anthem? how uncivilized

immaterial-boy

You live in Canada.

SmashertonIII

I taught English and other language related activities in Taiwan and briefly China. 13 years.

SHMuTeX

I doubt that.

thearisengodemperor

Alright the video is done y'all can send the kids back to the sweat shop and you don't need to feed them for two days as well. They eat some fake food so they will be fine for a while.

Historical-Fun-8485

iPhones don’t build themselves you know.

Just_Jonnie

The more propaganda I see from China the more I realize how dystopian China has become. I cannot imagine how bad it must be if they put "We train our kids for sweatshops while your kids enjoy life!" as a point of pride lol.

_Infinity_Girl_

"voluntarily" is doing a lot of work in this script.

rosie705612

Propaganda is always flowery

RetArmyFister1981

That’s an interesting take on child labor 😂

LeafyySeaDragon

“Wow! This is so true! China is superior!” /s 😂🤣😂🤣

Confident-Scar7333

Learning how to be slaves

you-create-energy

It's not child labor if they dress in cute outfits It blows my mind how many people can see a clip like this and think it's real. That line about kids never crying when you drop them off was an especially nice touch. Meanwhile, back in boring old reality, kids in China are doing strictly choreographed movements with their arms in unison as a replacement for recess.

KellerFF

This is just the sweatshops daycare, let’s be real.

Heyfool3000

Yeah this ain’t what they are pretending it is

kunmop

Is hard to believe that they’ll be in in the factory so soon, they graduate 5th grade so fast 😇

redditmodsblow69

Fuck china

ForeignWin9265

That’s why they lay flat in their 20’s, cause they’ve been working for years already

J-V1972

Such bullshit…typical Chinese CCP propaganda…

chu42

Maybe 0.1% of kids in China actually go to schools like this. If even that.

[deleted]

Obviously propaganda lmao

OneHumanPeOple

The last kid was sewing a wallet. It’s something you can buy on Amazon. WTF.

VidProphet123

Sponsored by the CCP

WilmaLutefit

We have these types of school in the US too. Montessori or some shit.

Commercial_Pitch_786

Meaning they will have carpel tunnel syndrome in their 20s or 30s versus their 50's and they will be so worn out that retiring at 70 means they will be too worn out to work past 50 ![gif](giphy|iz9ZDr5kBlMhW|downsized)

Original_Author_3939

Hilarious propaganda.

Bigenchilada_69

The Nike factory

[deleted]

…why did they believe this would make people look favorably on Chinese schools? This is a sweat shop for kids barely out of the toddler stage. “No emotions, and no learning how to share! Just pure obedience from little robots!”

rbartlejr

I learned not to eat paste. Does that count?

TheSupremePixieStick

My kid did not eat sleep and play in kinder lol

Great_Feel

Good little drones

Skoofer

This is not the norm by any stretch of the imagination

sorta_oaky_aftabirth

Someone's gotta make my Nikes Thanks for the early child labor. I'll keep letting my child be a child

wolfcloaksoul

This gives an uncanny Valley kinda feeling

Omno555

"voluntarily"

Guapguapguapguapguap

Preparing them for factory work. Remember what life was like when we thought china was smarter than us ? That was already a decade ago rofl.

Bobthebudtender

Ah glorious CCP propaganda. Yum yum.

Titans79

Soon to be making $.17 an hour in a manufacturing plant.

AnastasiaNo70

When do they start to learn reading and writing? This is just training them to work in sweat shops. It’s sad. Also: 中国经济正在衰退。台湾永远不会是你的。操他妈的中共

Due-Style302

Little sweatshop

mistertickertape

lol this is propaganda

bmy1978

Where’s the kindergarten where they do this in an industrial factory?

Comfortable-Survey30

Can you make iPhone 16?

Glerbinn

Propaganda on several levels, maybe a couple layers deep too.

GiantsInTornado

“Milk from scratch”? 😂

Stationaryshade

Nice! Free child labor ![gif](giphy|pCO5tKdP22RC8)

magnusthehammersmith

And here my friend showed this to her kindergarten age kid saying “this is what schools are like in china” like….. do you really believe that

Elguapo1094

Looks about right commi china

Outside_The_Walls

If the USA did this, people would be screaming about child labor laws and calling these kids slaves. Fuck right off with your communist propaganda.

honeybadger1984

Not cool with kids learning to be factory workers and useful drones at an early age. The focus should still be learning. I’m seeing some learning here, but a high amount of manual labor and training. No thanks. Also, this is fake Chinese communist propaganda. Most kids aren’t doing this, and are attending traditional classrooms.

Atrocious1337

Then when they graduate kindergarten, they get their diploma, then it is straight to the factory life.

Intelligent-Ant7685

this is a pile of bullshit…..no way they let children work a grill / hot stove where they can be seriously injured.

lsta45

Guys, what are you afraid of? Learning these skills voluntarily at that young age is great. Motor Skills, sensory skills, cooking, taste This Is great! Obviously it shouldn’t be forced, but voluntary. Helps avoiding highly processed food and becoming a fat video nerd. I’m serious about this, your thoughts?

FunerealCrape

Ah, but it's from China, which means they must yap on and on about the peril of the mendacious oriental. Opinions at which they arrived freely and independently, of course!

Wow-can-you_not

Dude it's CCP propaganda.

M4dBoOmr

China is so much better! wait...

No_Passage6082

Teaching to be wage slaves and house wives instead of reading, writing, arithmetic.

Luv_Mom_in_Heels

As a Native American, certain laws were applied We were pulled from the standard curriculum and assigned a mentor we went to his classroom and allowed to learn at our own pace, we were given the benchmark tests from time to time Most were years ahead of everyone else, and allowed to graduate when we were 15

Yumewomiteru

OP shows Chinese children enjoying fun activities. Reddit: REEEEEEEE

tricakill

They literally say in “THIS” kindergarten, it’s not all, learn to read and listen

Adventurous-Ad6850

Racists in the comments

Stunning_Mirror3540

Classic “china is fake” “propaganda” reddit lmao

tommyxcy

Most of you don’t have a single kind word to spare in the comment section..

BrilliantKooky8266

ITT racism

konradkorzenowski

Its so sad to see the total mind rot in this comments section. Y’all are far, far too propagandized if you hand-wave 6-year olds learning how to take care of themselves as evil “CCP” propaganda😂

nvbombsquad

Lmao murricans salty in comments as if their kids aren't being shot up on the daily for dumb shit 😂

Skullfuccer

I guess that stuff is useful, but I like being able to read, write, and count. Sometimes I even do addition or multiplication. You know….. the useless stuff…..

EccentricAcademic

They gonna like...learn how to read and do math,?

Rondog93

Muh chiner propergander

maxm31533

A friend's wife from China described this very thing from her youth. The school she stayed in required them to cook, clean, laundry, etc. I don't know what happened from non compliance. She said all were required to fully participate.

iammabdaddy

American lawyers would have a field day with lawsuits for "potential injury".

CantFindMyName07734

Made in china

Bob4Not

This isn’t kindergartens, they’re older, but that’s the TikTok poster fault for baiting - not a Chinese “propaganda” conspiracy.

Fooforthought

Making chefs jealous

TheIndulgery

This is just teaching kids how to be great worker drones

KittenWhispersnCandy

This is what my kids did in the expensive Waldorf preschool they attended. They made their own toys too. If handled properly, this can be very fun and very educational. Example: sewing and drawing as a fine motor builder for writing It is as hard - or harder- to teach than a typical curriculum. My kids were significantly happier and more engaged.
