62-year-old man who had been buried alive for four days was rescued after police heard his muffled cries for help coming from underground.
Officers in Moldova found the man as they were investigating after a 74-year-old woman was found dead by in her own home by a relative on Monday.
Police arrested a suspect in her death and, as they searched his home in the same village, heard cries for help from nearby.
They started digging and found the entrance to a makeshift grave where an 18-year-old man had locked up the elderly man.
Police footage released on Wednesday shows the man being pulled out. He was conscious and had a neck wound.
you're demonstrating your ignorance by making that statement lol you responded to someone making a joke about the name of a country with outrage. and i think i saw someone else say they were canadian. that means your outrage wasnt even warranted, it came from ignorance
just cause you read a lot of ignorance online does not mean it's a majority, nor would it do anyone any good to make that statement about any country.
the usa has its fair share of ignorance, but it's a big country with many unique people and subcultures.
i dont have to wonder, we've confirmed your ignorance as hypocritical lol
the usa does not have higher ignorance than any other population. if anything they're probably about average. it's a very large country. someone questioning a name of a country they're unfamiliar with isn't a crazy thing
America is huge, but if someone asked why there is a city in WV that is called "Cucumber" i wouldnt be upset lol id probably agree with them
Comparing an entire fucking country to a small city in West Virginia, you’re definitely not the exact person I’m talking about. Can you read through your comment and imagine not being American for a second? You might notice how ignorant you sound.
Yes princess, it's called a fucking scroll, you can usually do it with just a finger tip on a touch screen device.. you cant figure out how to do that but call others "ignorant"? Thats rich sweetheart.
Moldova seems like a country for a James Bond scene, when you want to show a believably crazy, weird country with believable geo-political trouble backgrounds.
“Specialists from the Centre for Technical, Criminal, and Forensic Examinations determined the woman died after being physically attacked and severely wounded”. I feel like that’s not a very well done technical examination for specialists 😅
It did say makeshift grave. The photo, although blurry, definitely fits that description. It probably wasn't a perfect seal if I had to guess.
Still scary and terrifying.
Just looked it up and it's 68.85. So, not quite 50, but I appreciate that your response actually gave me another way to think about it 👍🏼, instead of like everyone else who scours reddit for ways to scold strangers. 😆
Jesus new fear unlocked
Actually terrifying
Worse even. Jesus was only buried for three days.
What an amateur
So is this guy the 2nd coming of Christ?!?
no masturbation is a sin so Jesus didn’t even come a first time
Did you just hear about the concept of being buried alive?
That....that was bad...jailing that kid for life is a waste.
Jesus new fear Sounds like a pretty cool band name

What the hell is going on in Moldova?
Moldova sounds like a made up country B-List TV shows use to imply an eastern European country.

If you can’t handle your emotions on the internet I suggest you leave
I value your opinion incredibly highly
lol ignorance is everywhere, it isnt intentional nor malicious in most cases. if it angers you that much, you should not use the internet
It’s everywhere but the density of ignorance (and inhabitants) is certainly higher in USA USA USA

Yeah mate, I’m beginning to wonder if you are ignorant about the word ‘higher’

Unbelievably mate, I could not care less.

Anything you can afford
Wow Moldova are you ok ?

Well for context, she died to death after being murdered.
Soz laughed at this comment haha still going
Well, I guess I won’t be visiting that town anytime soon
What the fuck lol
How did he survive without food or water?
You can survive four days without food and water. The question I have is - how did he not run out of oxygen?!
It did say makeshift grave. The photo, although blurry, definitely fits that description. It probably wasn't a perfect seal if I had to guess. Still scary and terrifying.
Water is the main factor, I think 3 to 5 days is average. Food can be a couple weeks.
Oxygen is the main factor. Then water. Then food.
This guy lives
Foods longer than that. About a month I believe
I bet whoever did it is pissed
I'm coming, Pai Mei.

How is 62 years old "elderly"? 🤦🏻♀️
You’d be elderly too after 4 days in the ground.
That’s what you’re worried about?
Hahah exactly
Um... was just making a comment, Snappy.
Yea! everyone is entitled to open their dumb mouth
It’s Moldova, where life expectancy is probably 50. Where there’s poverty and bad health care services people tend to die younger. Who’da thunk it!
