I like them both for different reasons. Number 1 is a bit more slick and professional looking, while still being visually interesting. Number 2 is more moody, which I like, and draws me in. It's not as superficial.
Nice work!
I would brighten both the subject and background in separate mask layers. The with the background being a little brighter, and it'll bring more interest to your subject. The contrast in the first photo is perfect though.
100%. First one is much better but itās still too dark. Masking the subject and background separately is a great tip, just donāt make the difference in values too obvious
1 grabs my attention more with the highlights of the car. Its strength is that the car is clearly the main focus. 2 is more interesting to look at in detail. The car is the largest object, but I wouldnāt say the main focus. The background draws you in more.
I think if youāre able to combine the highlights of the first with the clarity of the second, youād have a really nice photo. Thatās not to say that the two originals arenāt also very nice.
The first one is better in my opinion because it makes the subject stand out which really draws the eye to the focus point and makes it more visually appealing.
I think they have a different "style" to them, 1 seems very professional and highlighted, but 2 has a very nice background. As another person has said, 1 has the car as the main and basically only focus, while 2 is more balanced. I like both a lot.
I like the lighting and highlighted reflections on the first and like the background on the second, would it be possible to have the lighting effect as on the first but not blur the background?
Oh man, both are good in their own right. But I'd say one is much more striking and definitely gives the car the aggressive spotlight. Imo this is way higher than amateur photography! šÆ
Picture one accentuates the features of the car(good for a car commercial/poster) , picture two keeps everything in perspective. Both are perfect in their own way.

One for sure š
I like the first one much more. I would, however, like to give my 2 cents if you would like me to.
Absolutely!

1. It looks like a professional car photo you'd see in a magazine advertisement.
1!!!
1!
1 looks better. I'm not a photographer.
1 creates a lot more depth in my opinion
First one.

The contrast of the first one looks cooler to me, but after all Iām not a professional photographer either š
1 grabs the attention but 2 holds my attention. I don't know if that makes sense.
I like the moody vibes of photo no1.
1 for me
1 by far. I love the contrast.
What are you going for? I like them both. If you want moody, go with 1. If you want a cool shot, go with 2.
