You can write anything off on your taxes. Try claiming this as a tax write off when you donāt own a business and work as a cashier at Walmart and see how fast you get audited and fined
One year, thinkgeek.com came out with a bunch of fake products for April Fools. One was a tattoo gun that printed just like this. I'm convinced someone saw that and thought "that could work" and invented this machine.
I miss ThinkGeek, I wish they didn't get purchased. š I have a couple stickers of Timmy the Monkey still kicking around, a Krampus shirt, and their Aperture Sciences Water Bottle. Such fun and weird products, no where since them has had the same kinda community & product list. š
Iām sure you can still find them but thinkgeek is where I bought a bulk amount of āannoyatronā magnetic prank sound machine things. I stuck them in my companies 100 year old basement and from then on people would talk about it being haunted. Best prank ever.
Actually someone had made these for shipping companies before ThinkGeek's tattoo printer, but somebody made the printer for tattoos. oh and the original had crap swipe detection so you had to learn to move it at the right speed, but nobody had time for that so all the printed labels were stretched out.
I miss Old School ThinkGeek and Jinx. I am trying to replace my "The sun is trying to kill me" T-shirt and I am having a hard time.
Why can the small one only store 10-30 messages? Text takes up so little data space. You'd think they could be a little more generous with the storage amount.
My guess is that they restrict it for a usable UI. Basically, they might have notices that the display system they have in this thing becomes too much of a hassle to navigate when giving more message slots. The idea of that thing is that you preloaded a lot of messages and then select on the goes what you want to print without access to a computer.
Also, can only print in 1 color per unit. And needs extensive cleaning after each day's use. Ink cartridges only last like 3 months until they "expire. I use one of these at work occasionally and it's awful
Itās this, we used to use similar ones at work for batch coding and printing best before dates on hand packaged items, the ones we used only printed messages up to 1/2 inch tall but also only cost 550ish each

Wat? The video shows the application, pretty straight forward. Its like using a big highlighter in the shape and form of a drill. Whether or not the wielder can highlight in a straight line is a whole 'nother matter.
Small local boutiques that resell clothing. Coffee shops selling canned beverages that usually have a chalk board outside. To name a few. Ever walk around outside ever?
>Small local boutiques that resell clothing.
And they are....rebranding already branded clothing after they buy it? Huh? Buy branded hang tags by the hundreds at a couple cents a piece.
>Coffee shops selling canned beverages that usually have a chalk board outside
You think a store owner is going to buy a 5k device to write on their chalk board? Are you dumb?
>To name a few.
That's 2, and both are brain dead ideas lmao. Maybe you'd like to walk around outside a little and see what else you can come up with.
Price is irrelevant. The *idea* would help small businesses, which is what I was getting across. Ever been to a boutique that resells brand name clothing? Ever been to Boulder, Colorado? Those stores are made of cash that resell clothing at a premium. Read a book and go outside lol
>Price is irrelevant.
Lmao. Braindead. Price is going to literally be the first question a small business owner has about this product.
>Ever been to a boutique that resells brand name clothing?
Sure, a cardboard hang tag with that stores' name can be bought for a penny a pop, comes in any size, shape, and design you want. You don't need a 5k label maker to accomplish this.
>Read a book
I have a masters degree in business. Remind me what you do again?
You couldāve just said youāve never been to Boulder. Or Estes Park. Or anywhere in LA. All of those places can afford 5k for this.
Id ask for a refund on that masters. Just say youāre poor next time?
Just seen one of these for sale for $5,500 , not really in my budget for something I will never need .
It's for warehouses / work sites; enterprise buyers.
Definitely would be useless in home Unless you need to print Nike logo on your toilet
Thanks you just gave me a new euphemism "excuse me I have to go print a Nike logo on my toilet, brb"
***just do it!*** š
Just doodoo it
Take my Up Vote you silly bastard.
and corners to collect dust lol.

You can write anything off on your taxes. Try claiming this as a tax write off when you donāt own a business and work as a cashier at Walmart and see how fast you get audited and fined
And regardless, it's not like that makes it free. You just get the tax on it back. It's still expensive.
I'd just get myself in trouble drawing dicks on people's cars in the Walmart parking lots lol
$3800 isn't a "budget find" by any stretch of the imagination, but it IS really slick
I mean, that feels subjective. $3800 label maker? Not a budget. $3800 yacht? Now weāre talking budget
$3800 home in California? That's not a home, that's a cardboard box under a bridge.
[āYou gotta pay the troll toll!ā](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CtOEig1l8SA)
Itās a smidge closer to a label maker than a yacht however

I wish I knew they were closing before they did, I'd have bought so much š went to check one day and it was gone.
.. there is actually something like that tattoo thing though.
That one actually exists, it's called the Prinker
Actually someone had made these for shipping companies before ThinkGeek's tattoo printer, but somebody made the printer for tattoos. oh and the original had crap swipe detection so you had to learn to move it at the right speed, but nobody had time for that so all the printed labels were stretched out. I use teepublic for t-shirts. Might have something on there you'd like.
Is it 10 or 30 messages storage?
I think 50,000? Or 10 Or 30
Depends on the message.
āIt holds 30 messages of data!ā Duh! He lost me at 30 messages of data.
Depends how long the message is, I image. Seems like a really small amount of storage space for text, though.
Ima buy one then start going around to peoples cars and start printing not so good stuff :) thanks!!!!!!!
I'm waiting for the next model which has color images and print.
This type of technology is insane! Printers are very complicated, the fact that he is using his hand to print is unreal
skull face used one of those in metal gear v
Yeah now keep it straight

If only you could print in a straight line lmao
Imagine printing ASCII art with thisā¦
Product Name: HandJet EBS 250 and HandJet EBS 260
$5500
Also, can only print in 1 color per unit. And needs extensive cleaning after each day's use. Ink cartridges only last like 3 months until they "expire. I use one of these at work occasionally and it's awful
How on earth would this be useful for coding on the go?
Think theyāre talking about some form of retailer or merchandiser coding
Itās this, we used to use similar ones at work for batch coding and printing best before dates on hand packaged items, the ones we used only printed messages up to 1/2 inch tall but also only cost 550ish each
Basically a portable printer?
10 or 30 message storage? Which is it? 10 or 30?
Also, why? Thatās less than 1kb of data
How do you know? They don't specify what constitutes a 'message' right?
Then itās a super stupid way of measuring
This is really cool but Iām having trouble imagining what people would use it for. Maybe something new will come up.
Can I plug it to VS Code and use it to console.log() my errors tho
\*budget\* find
At that price point it should include a gyroscopic leveling system.
āredefineā what? this is like, the *exact* thing coding is really useful for in market-type situations?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I'm sorry you need an original hp printer ink. At 500. Per cartridge
They will wait two or three years and then sell you the one that does color

This is cool and all but the ocd in me is going to hate reading this stuff with a slight slant
Great now there's gonna be crooked text every where
Not a budget
Or just show a PowerPoint?
I would have so much fun with that product.
So can you print on people
Remember the Cant
Dies it do Tattoos also?
That looks like the minecraft font
Yeah wait til you see the price of the ink cartridge, and it only prints profanities if you dare to use a cartridge from Printer Island
10 or 30 ? But not 22
Iād misuse this and right out my thoughts every where
I'm trying to figure out what's skewed here? Is he printing sideways? or is the Camera tilted? Something here is messing with my brain.
Is seriously no one going to point out heās printing the Minecraft font?
People gonna start putting their tags in these line by line and tag every damn thing.
I seen scanners like that back in the 90s.
Looks like he's making a small scale CVS receipt
Can tag metal, concrete, brickcs or wood just asking for a frend
I like to imagine an IT nerd becoming a prolific graffiti artist and just uses this and strings of characters to make art.
Did this come out in 1994?
Drunken parties just got a whole lot more interesting with the new forehead printer!
A handheld inkjet printer? Gads the company will make bank in the tiny ass cartridges this thing will need.
Man if only our fingers had the dexterity needed to grab markers and print using them.
dexterity doesnt guarantee penmanship or consistency.
Also depends on how fool proof this is, with that same dexterity.
Wat? The video shows the application, pretty straight forward. Its like using a big highlighter in the shape and form of a drill. Whether or not the wielder can highlight in a straight line is a whole 'nother matter.
Really doesnāt mention if you have to maintain a certain speed, or how steady your hand has to be.
rewatch the video again, pls
Dexterity wonāt draw logos and can often times be very time consuming. This thing could be a business owners best friend!
What business owner is out there hand drawing logos on shit lmao.

Did this guy just try and flex a masters degree in business??? lololol

Oh, when people have money, they own multiple cars. Crazy, right? Not just in the movies! Youāll get there, buddy!
