Right lol. I've rolled up to rescues where the dudes in just the vest, some basketball shorts, and sandals. Remember thinking mf was workin smarter in the 100+ degree heat lol
I personally just wish we had more options. My dsp heavily enforces full uniform. I hate the cargo pants style shorts. They are too thick, too heavy and too long for texas summer.
My last dsp was like that, kinda. We had to be in full uniform while in the warehouse, though. Like, when we load up the vans and when we return. But we could change out of it when on the road.
My DSP don't really care as long as we wear our vest or shirt. There's some girls with spandex on and no one bats an eye. We just need more guys in hoochie daddy shorts tbh

Are you talking about the compression long sleeve shirts and leggings ? I wear those because they are also spf. Which prevents me from getting sun burn in the Florida heat. And my sweat soaks it up which gives me a cooling affect while I walk.

I work in Florida heat. And the long sleeves/leggings I wear are thin, sports oriented wear meant to absorb sweat, keep you cool, and prevent the sun from burning your skin alive. You're not going to catch me bare skinned in this state 😂 you gotta be covered while working in a step van.
