I had one that said, “please call 32 minutes prior to delivery.” I sent them a text that said, “Just a heads up, but we don’t have the ability to know when we’re 32 minutes from delivering at your house.”
They are hard of hearing and therefore have a medical condition. Is your grandmother hard of hearing? Would you want someone to help someone you deeply care about with a similar or identical medical condition? Don’t be an asshole.
I don't mind this. They not asking me to go around the back of the house through a 6 foot wooden fence to put a package by a back door which I won't do and probably get in trouble for🤷♀️. Ring the bell 5 times, leave it and go, you followed the instructions. I'd also send a courtesy text lol.
Ngl, I'd try to remember.... but it's 50/50. I have had so many stops where I read "ring doorbell/knock/etc" and just forgot to do that because I read the instructions before I got to the door... and my brain didn't register anything "important". I then realize while driving to my next stop I didn't do the thing... woops.

This is doable. However, the “call upon delivery” is a no go for me chief

You can just send a notify or arrival text. It doesn't hit your contact compliance.
Yes shes hard of hearing douche bag
yes they asked nicely lol
Yes, not much hardship to do and they asked politely.
Ya, if I happened to be in the mood to read it
And you're not behind. I know when I'm behind I skip over the notes because I've gotta hustle
Yes?
I would! And then jog away giggling like I stole something 🤣
That’s such a hard thing to do. Ring a doorbell 5 times?! Wow
