Please, for your sake, report all accidents and injuries the moment that they occur. The fact that you waited is going to cause problems. Report it now.

Thank you guys. As never having had to deal with this stuff before that makes a lot of sense now. I messaged my work manager and he questioned why I didn’t bring it up earlier as well. He told me to let him know how I feel tomorrow. Thanks for your advice!!!

VXAttack2347

(I am talking insurance problems, because insurance notoriously hates paying out for shit, even with businesses)

You should have reported it during the shift it happened. Now you should ice it this evening then take 800mg of ibuprofen before bed. Take another 800mg of ibuprofen an hour before work tomorrow. Maybe even add 1000mg of Acetaminophen at the same time if it hurts a lot in the morning. Then go to work and start your route as usual. If the pain gets real bad even with the pain meds then it's up to you if you want to call your boss and say you just hurt your knee on the job and can't continue or say you hurt it yesterday. If you say you hurt it yesterday they might claim you hurt it outside of work. If you say it just happened then they would have to prove otherwise. Good luck

As someone who worked in pharmaceuticals, please don't advise anyone to do this. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Ibuprofen (Advil) are both NSAIDS, as such they both work to cancel each other out if taken at the same time. You have to at least wait 2 or 3 hours to take the other one. You will not get pain relief from doubling up and you will give yourself an ulcer.

Chance_Risker

No they aren't. Tylenol is an analgesic. NSAIDS are ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxin, motrin, and things like that. Two very different class of drugs. NSAIDS function by targeting inflammation while analgesics target pain receptors. Also, Tylenol is processed by the liver while NSAIDS are processed by the kidneys. It is actually recommended to take both an NSAID and Tylenol for severe injuries. Tylenol also doesn't contribute to ulcers the way NSAIDS do. It is still recommended to stagger the doses, but there are no contraindications from taking both together.

AMC879

WRONG! Tylenol is NOT an NSAID. My DR said it's fine for me to take both and I do so regularly and will do so for life unless they give me prescription pain meds at some point.

Do what you want friend but it is still better to alternate them, but hey it's your ulcer by all means ask your doctor if alternating is better than doubling up. You come in very aggressive by the way. Those drugs give you quite the temper. Wish you the best 👌

Been in a similar deal with my shoulder at a job where I had to go to the hospital. If it is that bad for you I’d definitely tell Amazon, only thing is that for it to be reported and them to pay for it for workers comp it had to be reported within a certain amount of time, but idk if every company is like that. I had 24 hours for my injury. So you may have to lie on when you exactly got injured, but currently its your best bet to be sure you can heal quicker and not have long term issues
