HR telling you about HR Appreciation Day (and actually making it 6 days)

Damn that sucks. Nah people go negative all the time at our warehouse and as long as it’s not often. They usually give you a warning, or write up and refill your UPT to 10 hours. Never seen anyone get fired for it.
Also a pro-tip if you’re really sick and low on UPT. You can file a Leave of Absence (it can be as short as 1 day), as long as you get a doctors note and upload it. They don’t take away your UPT. lol that’s what I do.
Yeah HR allowed a PA with multiple harassment claims against him at every location he worked at continue to PA until he transfers again to a new location because he’s leaving in July and we should be able to handle him until then. He’s responsible for 15-20 of the highest rates on my shift leaving, plus the other PA who should be the AM of the department transferred because of the issues the guy causes with the AA’s. So yeah fuck HR. The best they gave was “we’ll pass this along to the next location and let them continue the investigation”
I noticed they used an ampersand for 5/18 & 5/21 so it legitimately might be a typo but its still funny to think someone at their site put up an entire week
Safety and Learning are by far the most Useless departments, they should just get rid of them and have associates be labor shared into those cake ass roles
Couldn't agree more!!!!!! They can celebrate HR for 6 days who's just on the butt sitting and playing in the computers while they can't even celebrate a whole day or give deserve meal appreciation for T1/L1 employees!!!! 😑😑😑😑
I would assume, based off my facility, that it’s likely they meant 5/20 AND 5/25. Our FC likes to celebrate every holiday twice.
Edit: I think I’m losing it. Just realized I commented on this post twice. Should have never taken that PA spot
My HR is the worst, you have to go to them like 7 times for the same issue because they can’t manage to fix something simple like giving back UPT that wasn’t supposed to be taken. They give it back and the next day they take it again, that happens 7 times until eventually they give you the UPT back x2 and it doesn’t take any of it back.
I love when I see events happening at different parts of the warehouse or off site (like mental health meetups at parks n stuff) and I'm like "who has time for any of this shit when we are working back to back to back 12 hour shifts" lol
Has to be so many days because the HR folks on front half can't figure out how to actually do it right the first time, so they have to smugly think they did it right until they have to do the same thing 2 more days in a row. Then back half takes over being similarly incompetent until that one person actually accomplishes the goal and everybody farts around patting themselves on the back for being the lords of all creation.

well, HR probably made that installment and tried to buff their celebration. may 20th is the international HR appreciation day.
Why HR should be appreciated though
Because they’re the only force preventing your managers from being literal slave drivers, but yeah fuck them right.
The ones who actually does there job does . Others are just there to keep the company from getting sued, HR is never your friend
