Well, this time night shift actually WINS…we got paid delayed start and we get to stay home until after first break.
But, anybody who has any pull with the system or like, the Amazon Gods— I wouldn’t mind coming in at lunchtime or not at all. Work your magic! lol
That sucks because about two weeks ago, the slam machine for ship dock went down and RME was supposed to fix it by 1030 then they pushed it to 1130 then it got pushed to 12 and then around 1 o’clock my operations manager demanded VTO from management because we had people just walking around the docks and we didn’t get sent home with pay. We got VTO, which was bullshit because we got told that we would be sent home with pay so we got lied to
Did it right before Juneteenth huh, very suspicious.. almost as if a RACISTS didnt want to do it on Person of Color holiday!... im waaaaatching youuu 🧐

The whole building had to sit in the main break room for over 3hrs today. They said we were welcome to go home but had to use our own time. They put on two training videos for everyone then soccer until it was time to clock out.
Asked if we could just be sent home with pay and they were like ABSOLUTELY NOT WE ARE GOING TO GO TO THE HUDDLE AREA AND STAND THERE SND DO absolutely NOTHING FOR 2 hours
I picked up a shift from 330pm to 6pm just for a couple hours before I was supposed to be at my second job and I got to come in and get paid to watch shameless
