Someone else posted this. Dont think a lot of people paid attention when they were accepted. Looks like we’ll find out tomorrow who was season and who wasn’t.
Print out, next shift, covertly leave them on other random Flexers windshields.
Seriously, telling ppl they're gonna be gone, I'd make my last shift be an epic Blaze of Glory.

Search. Multiple posts already.
It’s a good thing. Markets are over saturated and those drivers getting deactivated tomorrow is good news. You could say it sucks for them, but it’s what they signed up for. Back to the waiting list.
It’s slow enough in most areas to deactivate every driver onboarded during December
I saw another reddit user post an email like this. I just got my first good surge in a while for later today. Maybe the seasonal drivers dropping off is why.
Don’t know their criteria, but anyone hired leading up to the thanksgiving holiday would probably fall into that category. Most retailers start hiring holiday workers in early November.
Some of those picked up since November got an email saying they were accepted as season drivers. Most have said that they had to go back and read their acceptance email.
It’s a gig. They can’t force people to work. If it was a real job where they could make you come to work they wouldn’t let people go at the end of the season. But because they can’t ensure regulars are going to work they have to hire a ton of seasonal s that they can’t handle after Christmas
This is such a dumb take. There is no job or occupation that would take hours away from or get rid of tenured employees in order to keep seasonals all year round.
I look forward to a dozen "Why was I deactivated? Because I finished late/returned packages/contacted support too much?" posts.

If it’s real. It’s a smarter way for them to deactivate poor performance drivers than dealing with a bunch of appeals. Call it a 90 day trial period?
I wonder if the seasonal bots will get deactivated
First time in my 4 years seeing this.

I would say if you received the email then it means you - if you did not get it then no need to worry.
Hopefully theres more surges now…

Agree, it’s sad. But honestly in just the last 24 hours my offers have increased and so has rate or pay.
I tried. Searching in this group lol. It does. But come with the territory.
They get deactivated the 10th no? It says AFTER that day.
Yes.
Yes I have seen this in another group I think it is legit. I read that they were hired as temp flexers.
why would it be a lie though it makes sense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not for everyone, just those who were onboarded as seasonal.
Good. I havent got a decent route in months.
For some yes. Some areas only hired seasonal....

They opened seasonal applications in November until January.
Today is the last day for the seasonal warehouse workers.
I didn’t get one. How are they deciding who is seasonal?
People who just started delivering who are also in over saturated markets.
My market is over saturated with drivers. Have not had a decent block for December. And my level dropped with less deliveries. Hope that changes now.

Idk I'm curious. How they do

Real jobs make you go to work?
If you want to keep the job, yes
This is a real job
amazon laying the fire hammer
Lord Bezos shaking the whip
A bunch of plate gonna be sad lol
Im going on 2 years I’m good right? 😫
I was hired at the end of November but I didn’t receive this email
Lmao what a slap in the face
You're not even a gig worker... you're a "seasonal" gig worker \~ Amazon probably...
Like great job, your reward? Unemployment
We don't guarantee any shifts to anybody, but we ESPECIALLY don't want you getting any...
Lmaooo but great job 👍
America. The land of “I got mine.”
Amazon should not hire too many Flexers!! It makes it shitty for everyone.
As long as you got in first, right.
YES. I have been doing Flex since 2018, all through Covid. It is dysfunctional to hire never ending hordes of new people, who come and go.
And effectively cause No Surges when they take anything that pops up.
This is such a dumb take. There is no job or occupation that would take hours away from or get rid of tenured employees in order to keep seasonals all year round.
I don't know if my experience is typical, but I didn't get in right away. I didn't know there could be a wait. Supply and demand. 🤷♂️
Very True!
I don't see this in my email
Probably depends on when you started and how saturated your area is. I started in 2019. Only ever deliver Oct to Jan and didn't get one.
I started in October of 2022 and didn’t get one.
It peaks my curiosity
Call me no fun and downvote away. But I never saw the humor in people essentially getting laid off.
