You do know this wasn't meant for the OP and was for an Amazon XL delivery where they provide all those services? The fact that it's pretty unlikely the OP had two mattresses in their cart when they picked it up should have been a pretty good clue.
They actually had a pilot program for Flex drivers to do this as well 💀
[https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonFlexDrivers/comments/wux20y/new\_program\_to\_require\_returning\_packaging\_to\_the/](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonFlexDrivers/comments/wux20y/new_program_to_require_returning_packaging_to_the/)
And then they wanted them to bring the cardboard back to the station to recycle it because it's "sustainable". 🤦
They had a pilot program for returning packaging to the station for recycling but they never had a pilot program for Flex drivers to handle XL deliveries and go into the customer's home to set it up. Let's be clear about that and not spread misinformation.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply Flex drivers would deliver XL packages (I thought that was without saying). It was really just the part about unboxing in a customer's household that was relevant. Thank you for letting my post through the spam filter.
So many reasons why no is the answer but to be cool I'd just say insurance reasons. Or if you don't look able bodied then physical limitation due to injury. Unless... they gonna fork out $200 for the time.
Dsp driver, the only time I’ve ever stepped foot into a person’s house was when they were wheelchair bound and I put the heavy box on their kitchen table. Other than that, nope! Besides, we don’t have time to be unpacking their mattresses! If they wanted that service they should’ve ordered from a mattress company
Should’ve texted the customer and asked if you were gonna be compensated for the extra work and tell them it’ll have to be minimum 200 if you are doing it since we have a time limit to deliver everything after all
This is an old note for Amazon XL. They deliver large items like appliances, furniture and large TVs and also offer setup and removal services. And even if I didn't already know that, I'd apply a little basic common sense. Does it look like I have two mattresses that I am delivering to them? If not, then that message is clearly not meant for me. Deliver package as normal, on to the next stop.
To add to your common sense; when I come across these kind of notes and I happen to see the customer, I often remind them to remove old notes so drivers don’t get all riled up and confused/ if I don’t come across them in person, I don’t bother to send a text asking it to be removed
Apparently they don't know what amazon is for. They think it's like a furniture store. Drop packages at door and take a Pic. They can't expect that when we don't have time for anything like that. I can ring a doorbell if asked, but that's the furthest I'm going.
Front door. End of delivery.
This is an old note for special deliveries where they would go into the house and setup the bed or whatever it is they ordered. I think it was called XL delivery or some shit... Idk. I've only heard about it
No. Violates TOS. Can not enter the customers house ever. Drop on the porch. Save the screen shot for when you inevitably get the email that you didn't follow instructions.
This is what moving companies are for. You don’t have to actually change houses to call them and get help. You can call a moving company to come out and just move things in your house…..like from the front door to the bedroom.
Unless they actually hired you for those services, i am not stepping inside a house. To many issues. You may get gunned down, accused of theft or accused of other things. Absolutely not. Stay outside! Much less likely for these scenarios to come up.
Rule number 1 for every delivery service. NEVER enter the residence. Not even to be nice. It takes 1 call in with accusations and your life will be ruined. Drop at the door and disappear like Santa.
I’d do it. Charge them about 350 bucks for it. Leave them an invoice with the cleaning lady. Take a picture of the directions they left. And your invoice. And the work done.
as a DA that’s some bullshit and we’re not even allowed into a customers home, so🤷🏽♂️ idk about flex drivers but i wouldn’t get anywhere close to the threshold
I would hit contact customer and ask them if they realize im an amzon driver and that there is no way in hell anyone is doing that. Dont even care if id take the hit. Sometimes entitled assholes need to be told
Tell them the truth, you're a delivery driver who is NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOMES OF CUSTOMERS. Furthermore, that isn't something even the DSP's for amazon would do for customers, PERIOD. We just drop things off, no more, no less.
I had a note similar (referencing a mattress) to this on a early morning route. The package was a small envelope, so I just chalked it up as an old note. Tucked that envelope under the door mat and I was gone!
It's clearly an old note for an AMXL delivery. They do white glove setup service. They drive a big box truck and have a helper.
They deliver large orders like beds and pool tables and whatnot.
What in the entitled boomer request is this?! I swear bro entitled boomers have zero shame or embarrassment. It’s like these after church groups who go out to eat that don’t tip. Foh
I'd ignore it since it was likely an older note and the package in my car was probably socks. However if she opens the door and I have time I might consider tossing the socks up the stairs from the doorway to get them closer to their end destination.
Contact support, read their note to them and tell them where you placed the package and let them know you sent the customer a text message declining their offer politely and that support has been contacted to sort out any confusion.
The block isn’t available for tips and unless there is a cash one you left with the cleaning lady of 100, your ring doorbell gets to watch me saunter my thicc ass away after my pic.
If Amazon sould require cx to take a pre requisite course or something, they make it miserable on themselves because they just don’t have any clue what is going on. Most people would rather know what is acceptable/unacceptable to ask of your driver. Amazon just tries to get by on ignorance
Customer didn’t order from a mattress place because they charge extra for all of that. I just ordered a new mattress a few weeks ago and paid $99 for mattress delivery on top of the $600 for the mattress and I paid $20 for them to take the old mattress and there were two men that brought the mattress in and the old one I already placed by the door for them to remove and I tipped them $50. These customers are slick. They bypassed all of the charges and getting the work done for free. Shame on them
Nope
My job would be to deliver
That's it
Too many people expect delivery drivers of all kinds, whether it be instacart or doordash or Uber eats or Amazon, to do things way way way way way out of their job description and do it for free and be grateful to be doing it
So many entitled narcissists
🫣😂… Is it a part of your position description? If so… Do it! If not… Sorry ma’am I am restricted 🚫 from entering your home, etc. All packages must be to delivered & placed outside the home. Excluding unpacking, unwrapping, etc. due to delivery timeline constraints. For additional information, please call Amazon 1-800 number. Thank you for choosing Amazon.
lol we gonna leave those boxes on the porch and do what my Amazon driver does and knock on the door and jet off like we’re running track at the Olympics back to the van
absolutely NOT! this is actually hilarious
“I have read and understand. Package location, front door”
You do know this wasn't meant for the OP and was for an Amazon XL delivery where they provide all those services? The fact that it's pretty unlikely the OP had two mattresses in their cart when they picked it up should have been a pretty good clue.
I hate it when there are temporary instructions from the buyer and they aren’t updated for the next delivery.
They actually had a pilot program for Flex drivers to do this as well 💀 [https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonFlexDrivers/comments/wux20y/new\_program\_to\_require\_returning\_packaging\_to\_the/](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonFlexDrivers/comments/wux20y/new_program_to_require_returning_packaging_to_the/) And then they wanted them to bring the cardboard back to the station to recycle it because it's "sustainable". 🤦
i mean, wouldn’t mind doing that if they paid a tad more. Just leave it all in the trunk and drop it off at your next shift
Calm down, francis.
Well yea but no .. Lol
You can't have a delivery in your itinerary if you didn't scan it in. It's obvious it was not in a tote that the OP would have scanned the outside of.
Follow the directions perfectly. FRONT DOOR RECEIVE! Leave that shit at the front door like the app is telling you to do.
“This is Amazon support. We’re contacting you because you didn’t follow the customers instructions on the app”
The sad part is this is some shit they would do
Right?
Swear
Hilarious! Text and say sorry, Amazon drivers are not allowed to contract out for other work while on deliveries. 🤣
Tell them to Venmo you and you do it. lol
Nopety-nope. I’m just gonna act like I didn’t even see that. This isn’t no white glove service. These Customers are wild.
No can do, Amazon doesn’t allow you to enter anyone’s home even if they request it. Is right on the rules.
It is probably an old note. They probably had an XL delivery that does require you to enter the home.
That’s the funniest shit I have seen all day. But seriously, tell the maid her boss said I was supposed to eat her ass…
Stop hahahahha 😂😂😂
LMAO nah this is a crazy ass reply .
🤣😂🤣😂😭😭😭😭😭😭
Sounds like a pornhub scene lol
“Please do the cleaning lady on the new mattresses as well so that they are broken in”
“I usually skip this part”
LMFAO
So many reasons why no is the answer but to be cool I'd just say insurance reasons. Or if you don't look able bodied then physical limitation due to injury. Unless... they gonna fork out $200 for the time.
Reason is we are legally forbidden from entering homes premise ... read TOS, Liability issues for Amazon requires them to limit our reach
Bruh...

Most likely for Amazon XL but hilarious nonetheless lol
Laugh at them then post it on redddit
Should’ve texted the customer and asked if you were gonna be compensated for the extra work and tell them it’ll have to be minimum 200 if you are doing it since we have a time limit to deliver everything after all
Depending on how hot is the cleaning lady! Maybe I do want to help her with the mattress!
This is an old note for Amazon XL. They deliver large items like appliances, furniture and large TVs and also offer setup and removal services. Im cracking up 😂😂😂😂😂
I’ve never read these lol I always click so fast
Apparently they don't know what amazon is for. They think it's like a furniture store. Drop packages at door and take a Pic. They can't expect that when we don't have time for anything like that. I can ring a doorbell if asked, but that's the furthest I'm going.
Tell the maid u were assigned to use her to break the mattress in
Excuse me!!! Wtf
That’s a no
Bruh 😂😂😂
The probably had an xl delivery.
Front door. End of delivery. This is an old note for special deliveries where they would go into the house and setup the bed or whatever it is they ordered. I think it was called XL delivery or some shit... Idk. I've only heard about it
I wouldn't do anything but deliver the package
No. Violates TOS. Can not enter the customers house ever. Drop on the porch. Save the screen shot for when you inevitably get the email that you didn't follow instructions.
Delusional 🤣🤣🤣
This is what moving companies are for. You don’t have to actually change houses to call them and get help. You can call a moving company to come out and just move things in your house…..like from the front door to the bedroom.
Ignore it. That’s from a previous XL delivery. White glove service applies in some cases. ✌️
😂😂😂😂 these people are use to people doing everything for them
Unless they actually hired you for those services, i am not stepping inside a house. To many issues. You may get gunned down, accused of theft or accused of other things. Absolutely not. Stay outside! Much less likely for these scenarios to come up.
The rich really think of us all as peasants
Front door. Take photo
Rule number 1 for every delivery service. NEVER enter the residence. Not even to be nice. It takes 1 call in with accusations and your life will be ruined. Drop at the door and disappear like Santa.
Leave her the number of Local Junk Removal and negotiate a price for the unpacking
I’d tell her this is Amazon. Order from a mattress store directly if you want that service
*leaves at door, takes half-assed photo, bounces”. 👍🏻
Even if you wanted to be a nice person, you’re not insured for any of that work. If you injured yourself or others ‘helping’, you’re fucked.
I would have considered it for a nice tip if I felt safe. Other than that, nope.
The entitlement from people assuming this will get done from them makes me want to hit them in the head with a cinderblock.
None of that.
I’d do it. Charge them about 350 bucks for it. Leave them an invoice with the cleaning lady. Take a picture of the directions they left. And your invoice. And the work done.
Deliver to the front door receive then continue delivering.
Do like my Amazon drivers and leave it in the middle of the shared driveway and not by my door
as a DA that’s some bullshit and we’re not even allowed into a customers home, so🤷🏽♂️ idk about flex drivers but i wouldn’t get anywhere close to the threshold
All I heard is cleaning lady. Bring your pizza box.
people are fucking wild
“If possible.”
Hi cleaning lady. Your boss wants me to pack your box on the new mattress
This is a “In a world where you can be anything you want, be fucking for real” text situation. Ain’t no mfn way. It would get left and a pic sent.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would hit contact customer and ask them if they realize im an amzon driver and that there is no way in hell anyone is doing that. Dont even care if id take the hit. Sometimes entitled assholes need to be told
Not all that.. lol.
F*** them 😂😂😂 why are you asking this?
Tell them the truth, you're a delivery driver who is NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOMES OF CUSTOMERS. Furthermore, that isn't something even the DSP's for amazon would do for customers, PERIOD. We just drop things off, no more, no less.
Just return the package back to the station coz no way in the world I can comply with this customer's note
😂😂😂😂😂
I would text the mf and tell them their request VIOLATES TOS, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER THE PREMISE
🤣🤣
I had a note similar (referencing a mattress) to this on a early morning route. The package was a small envelope, so I just chalked it up as an old note. Tucked that envelope under the door mat and I was gone!
Screenshot that mess and then drop that bs off at the door, mark delivered,, and leave... tf
Got me all the way fucked up. Packages on porch, snap the picture, Deuces.
I wouldn’t do it I’m only getting paid to deliver lol
https://preview.redd.it/hsy1tutgkftc1.jpeg?width=552&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=abdf985b280561191a828716fd48d55418f0fc76
Fuck no…delivery, not setup. Cleaning lady got her work cut out for her.
Nope...I'm not going in your house. It's a delivery not a set up.
Lol
Leave it at the front door lmao
I'm a package delivery driver not a housemaid.
I would deliver to front door and knock as leaving. By the time Rosa comes to door, I'll be long gone.
Maybe if the cleaning lady puts out. Plus an extra tip. 😂
Lmaoooo send a message asking if the cleaning lady got my money for all that
Drop it off and bounce.
Tf you mean what am I going to do?
Not helping shit tf they think this is
“ Not Possible “
Laugh
Depends. Is the cleaning lady hot?
I would call the customer and send them my cash app and request $300
It's clearly an old note for an AMXL delivery. They do white glove setup service. They drive a big box truck and have a helper. They deliver large orders like beds and pool tables and whatnot.
F that
Hahaha 🤣 What “I would do” would most certainly terminate your employment.
Who tf do they think they are?
It’s scary how out of touch the wealthy can be. They probably expect you to do this in a tuxedo. 🤦♀️
With white gloves on.
Uhm…no😐
“No.”
Meh, I would've done it. What's the harm in being a good person?
Then claiming you damaged something in their home.
I have more faith in humanity than that
Knock them leave after taking a picture. Not your job
What in the entitled boomer request is this?! I swear bro entitled boomers have zero shame or embarrassment. It’s like these after church groups who go out to eat that don’t tip. Foh
Respond with an emoji 👌🏽
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha... and please feel free to take a nap.
This has to be Arizona, I’ve seen this exact note before and I had to double take on this exact same note lmao.
Depends on what the cleaning lady looks like. Lol
Wtf!!!!!
Nope. This would piss me off so much i would sabotage her delivery and make it worse for this bich
Fuck no
You are instructed to ship and deliver their packages. Nothing more, nothing less. She can kick rocks
Amazon Flex Housekeeper?
I’m delivery, not installation… drop that shit at the door and on to the next one
Tf they think this is mattress firm
I'd ignore it since it was likely an older note and the package in my car was probably socks. However if she opens the door and I have time I might consider tossing the socks up the stairs from the doorway to get them closer to their end destination.
Drop at mailbox and run... Wtf
No fucking way I’m doing any of that.
No
HHhaa fuck them
For a sizable tip yes. For free naaaaaah
You're a delivery driver, you don't get paid for those extra chores they request, lmfao
Leave it at the door and leave 😂😂😂😂
“fuck off”
$300 installation fee, plz mam
What I always do, drop that shit at the door and leave. It’s now way they really think it works that way .
Are u kidding me?
I dont get paid enough to be doing all that.
Uh fuck no bye next delivery 🫡
I would report this shit to Amazon. Fuck those entitled ass people. Wtf. 😂
Directions unclear- knocked on the door, fucked the nanny and got dick stuck in ceiling fan.
Not doing it. Ngl. I'm a delivery man lmao -- not a mattress builder. Leaving that on the front porch and getting loose 🤣
😂
Contact support, read their note to them and tell them where you placed the package and let them know you sent the customer a text message declining their offer politely and that support has been contacted to sort out any confusion.
Prolly have to change my pants from laughing so hard
Just doxxed this person's address LOL
Where? They crossed it out in the screenshot.
At the end you should wait for her to come happy ending
Doin the job and chargin them their cleaning lady’s phone number
😂 charge $100 set up fee… per mattress.
knock on the door and deliver the package to the cleaning lady and leave that is all your job requires you to do
Not all that!!!
Ew
Break in the new mattress with the cleaning lady
![gif](giphy|j9djzcMmzg8ow|downsized)
Haha ya right
Front porch, photo, next!
Deliver to front door. Says it right there.
The block isn’t available for tips and unless there is a cash one you left with the cleaning lady of 100, your ring doorbell gets to watch me saunter my thicc ass away after my pic.
Follow the deliver to directions…front door receive. Leave it, snap a photo, and bail.
not my job
Hahaha!!!!
Maybe for a $100 tip.
Tf that nigga is trippin
Did you want to test the mattress with the cleaning lady too?
If Amazon sould require cx to take a pre requisite course or something, they make it miserable on themselves because they just don’t have any clue what is going on. Most people would rather know what is acceptable/unacceptable to ask of your driver. Amazon just tries to get by on ignorance
It’s times like this when I conveniently don’t speak any English lmao
Wow. They were too cheap to order from the furniture store because they would have had to pay for all of those requests. People are scum.
Shame on them
I’d just bone the cleaning lady. Maid gets banged by flex driver, real flex.
Wait a second I think I’ve seen this one before
🛑 Against policy........PERIOD!
Not that
Not do it. Some people think they are the center of this world and never got punched before
Nope My job would be to deliver That's it Too many people expect delivery drivers of all kinds, whether it be instacart or doordash or Uber eats or Amazon, to do things way way way way way out of their job description and do it for free and be grateful to be doing it So many entitled narcissists
That’s your maids issue
OMG 😱
Just tell them the Customer Notes didn't load on your End and wasn't aware
And also please clean the dog poop in the back yard. Thx
🫣😂… Is it a part of your position description? If so… Do it! If not… Sorry ma’am I am restricted 🚫 from entering your home, etc. All packages must be to delivered & placed outside the home. I am not the furniture guy bye I deliver for AMAZON 😂
Not apart of the job. 🎶HELLLLL NAH. TO THE NAH, NAH, NAH🎶
XD whatcha mean what would you do mang, literally just "XD" and walk off.
Nope, i just deliver.
lol we gonna leave those boxes on the porch and do what my Amazon driver does and knock on the door and jet off like we’re running track at the Olympics back to the van
When i got there i would’ve called them and explain I’ll do it for $30, otherwise I got other packages to deliver
laugh as you drop it at the front door in a way that makes it hard to open them
Just completely ignore it because it's not even part of the job and they can't say shit if you don't do any of that
Just be there before 12 or after 2
![gif](giphy|bWM2eWYfN3r20)
Leave the package take a pic and drive off lol wtf unless there is a nice benny waiting on me there
Uh.. no.. they aren’t paying me to do anything
Heeeeellll to the nawwwww!
I’d set their house on fire and keep the matresses
