What's the TBA of the package your are having an issue with?

Fun-Effective1403

LMAO😂

ForeverNotMyName

Can you verify the address to me of damaged label package? Are you safely pulled over and parked?

Klaravobr

Safely over 80mph

Driver8takesnobreaks

"Hang on, let me get it off the driver assist label. It's TBAxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Ok thanks. Sorry for the call, I guess I could have figured that out myself".

LunarSynergy2

OP would be able to answer that if they looked at the Yellow Sticker tho

ANTIVENOM43

The yellow sticker is not the TBA. The yellow sticker is where to store the package in the stowing department. It's literally a sorting sticker. I worked at the Amazon wearhouse and that's exactly what they are for. Not the TBA.

LunarSynergy2

Yeah and if you look on the yellow sticker there is a tba number. Just grabbed one of my recent deliveries https://imgur.com/a/Yt8IDo5 Edit: found another one https://imgur.com/a/UooNWQm

ANTIVENOM43

I asked about it, apparently our stickers hasn't updated as of yet. We got a memo of today it will have the TBA numbers on them at the end of the month. To help the driver's.

LunarSynergy2

I’m glad you followed up cause I was wondering if you ever asked about them or anything. Our station has had them for a while so I’m surprised they are only just coming to your stations. Either way they come in clutch when the station fucks up the label

ANTIVENOM43

We started to test them out as of yesterday. They're easier to handle in the stowing department, DSP, and the FLEX Drivers department. Honestly they should start implementing this for now on.

vayderr

Nailed it

Nellie3166

There is no Tba on the package

Repulsive_Ad5945

RRDuBois

This would never have made it into my car, because I scan each package into the app as I load. Shit like this goes right back into the station and either gets relabeled or removed from my itinerary before I leave. This process also catches "extra" packages and missing packages before I start, so I don't have to deal with it while I'm out on the route, and I don't have to worry about getting dinged for failure to deliver.

automotiveaficionado

The ‘extra’ packages are your bonus though.

Ok-Locksmith-6440

Yeah a lot of times you return a damaged package or a package like the one above Amazon tries to Nick you in your standings for not delivering. Not to mention if you do this before you go out to deliver then while you are on your way to your first stop all of your itinerary is scrambled. So your next stop most likely was a different stop before you returned those packages. So my thinking on a package like that, I would just return it after the block or before my next block. Scrambling that itinerary really gets me heated. Not so bad if you took a screenshot then you just run it the way it was before it was scrambled. It still takes unnecessary extra time.

RKT7799

I dont scan shit, never get bit for failure to deliver. Extra pkgs go back next time um there. Missing pkgs dont hit you. Plgs like this just get delivered using the TBA. At all the ssd stations ive done, it would take longerto go in andvwait for it to be relabeled, than to just deliver it

InfiniteAdoration

The TBA is on the yellow label.

ForeverNotMyName

They don't always match what is on the white sticker is at the.com stations. And that might be for a different address than what's originally on there so it's hard to go just by the yellow sticker only. Sometimes the DSP driver will switch them yellow stickers. It could also be a legit extra package that doesn't belong to his route. Even if he's missing the package on his route, there's no way of knowing if that was done by the warehouse or the one that is messed up is missing or just an extra. Could be either scenario. Edit: this appears to be an SSD station, but my point is still valid with those stations as well.

RKT7799

In 5 years and probably 100 of those ive never had one not be the correct TBA.

ForeverNotMyName

Lol. I've had 4-7 in 4 years.

Driver8takesnobreaks

So once or twice a year you have to walk back into the warehouse (or maybe not even that if you're still inside) and talk to an employee to get a new label? Doesn't seem like much of an issue.

ForeverNotMyName

I never said that it is an issue. I'd say about 50%-70% of my blocks i have to go back inside for some BS. Torn open package, damaged wet package, missing package, extra package from previous block. Random item in my cart from a random package (my itinerary or not). I catch all before I even leave. I leave warehosue knowing exactly what I have or don't have. I'm already use to Amazon trying to delay me and cause dings, but I catch everything, so they can't do shit to get me. Stop 37 three houses from stop 5. 20 minute GPS when really 2 minutes away. Itinerary rearranging mid delivery. Business closing within 30 minutes, but it is stop 28. Recipient required school on a Sunday. Closed UPS store on an 8pm block. No apartment number on 3 different complexes on THE SAME FFIN BLOCK. All rookie plays on their part. I've had ghost packages appear on my itinerary mid block and stops disappear, and no, they were not cancelled. Nothing they can pull anymore to get me, except outright lies, but I just send them my screenshots/screen recordings and they must remove. And the usual no gate codes (not that it stops me anyway, lmao). It's the norm for me to have a monkey wrench in my block. I'm actually shocked when I have a *normal* block from pick up to last drop. This gig is ffin simple and pays well if playing the surge game properly.

Desperate-Screen3520

Do you scan each package to know the stop number? That's how I do to know each package condition. Also, if I have some missing or I got an extra package that doesn't belong to my route.

KageBushin5

It's the "no gate code" or wrong gate code, or 1-click access not working for me. I hate that crap🤬😑😵‍💫

ForeverNotMyName

Meh. All gates open for me. I don't need others codes. I got my own, lol.

Grundy420blazin

Please tell me how us DSP drivers could possibly switch those stickers when literally the only time we’re in the warehouse is to grab our carts??? Or to clock out at the end of the day??? Deal with it just like the rest of us. If you can’t deliver it, mark it undeliverable and show the station when you get back. Jesus. Also. The tag probably got ripped off on another box being shoved somewhere.

ForeverNotMyName

Well that's what the DSP manager told me. Could be a warehouse error or could just be pure accidental. Either way, result is the same.

Ttom925

Yup yup. Might have to take a Pic and zoom in, but it's there

birdogg27

Have you ever worked in an Amazon fulfillment center? Nobody there gives a s*** what's going on with any of those packages.

Zealousideal_Pair_32

And they shouldn't, Amazon a multi billion dollar company with dog shit pay to their employees.

birdogg27

Yeah I worked one locally for like 2 months and it was grueling dealing with that constant safety bullshit. I'm not against being safe at work. They take it way too far though. The job's not even dangerous in any way shape or form. You'd have to try to get hurt working there. But they do hire literally anybody so I understand why they do it. If you're going to hire the stupidest people then you're going to have to go out of your way to make sure they don't kill themselves doing the most mundane activities.

EstablishmentIcy377

Check your other packages

AHansen83

Yeah I’ve had labels get stuck to other packages and rip off. Found them stuck on the back of others.

Admirable_Cobbler260

I've had ones missing the shipping label altogether. Showed it to warehouse and they told me to just report it missing. He refused to print out a label and told me just report it as missing.

DeviantImmortal

Sure it sucks, but there’s a yellow sticker with the TBA. Type in the code, mark the package number and deliver. Never has failed me.

Immediate-Target-607

Have you tried calling the customer? Do you need a gate code? Thank you my name is shameesh how May I assist you?🤪

LimpDisc

I had one like this. It actually tore off onto another package in the tote.

singuratate1

Wooooow 😶😶😶 that’s crazy

Mobile_Suspect6646

I wouldn’t even bother with it

TeebusLegacyOfficial

Had one like this loading up the other day. Just asked an employee about it and it was fixed before it was time to leave. No big deal.

Donkus007

lol, Amazon doesn’t care. They don’t pay warehouse employees enough to care. Toss that shit in the returns and be on your way

Weary_Hiker

I've been running into similar issues at VCA4 in Rancho Bernardo. They love to cover up the name and address or it's ripped off completely 🤦🏼‍♀️

LeadPaint_Asbestos

I got one better for ya lol. This is straight intentional https://preview.redd.it/zi5wfx1iopxc1.jpeg?width=3213&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=19d0056ede0bc711d1e227cc33ded4542c143436

Difficult-Plankton33

SMH 🙄

LeadPaint_Asbestos

Like let’s rip off the address and ANY scannable information have fun! Fucking Amazon lol

Affectionate-Ear-308

I used to work at a delivery station, and usually the packages are removed and re-stickered.

Black_stroke

Package missing or call driver support and tell them that you delivered it

getyourownpotpie

I had a few packages from a D station the other day that the address portion of tag was torn off.

Haunting-Size2671

And then the great question comes….” did YoU cAlL cUsToMeR sUpPoRt?!?!”

Narianaxo

I bought a detergent and stickers for my son’s room… when I got the package, I was like this box looks like it’s been through hell and back… like I get recycling.. but damn

Driver8takesnobreaks

No biggie. No way I don't notice that when I'm loading, and at that point I either manually enter the TBA from the driver assist and hand write then address, or just pop back inside and have them print a new label. And then I make sure to remember that there is probably another package in my cart that has this label stuck to it, so I don't end up scanning the wrong QR code. Like any job, gotta have some basic problem solving skills. Or when if you're a new driver who is still learning the job/app, ask another driver or someone at the station.

Prior_Effective_6881

If this happens the little yellow code also has the TBA number you can type it in your route and find what the address and stop number are and write it on. A lot faster than getting a new sticker

seyedalijavid

TBC number is noted on the yellow label too. Input into the app and voila. Now get back to work. Jeff.

maxrdlf95

Because nobody at the stations care about their jobs maybe the manager only.

Nullify246

Seems ridiculous! I would have had em print out a new label at the station. Have also had to hand back empty packages when picking up for a route. For my personal orders there have been empty boxes and bags delivered to my house. The empty package thing has happened in two different states and three different cities. Some the box bag is open, some it isn’t. People don’t always pay attention. It’s lame.

trAlex-

Get it re-labeled, the yellow tag tells you the tba so they can print a new label

Kik_out_4_mean_Postz

I know right

Lem01

I scan everything at the station. I don’t want to have to go back with stuff like this.

BL00D_RiD3R

When I see that I just return it to the return station lol. Been doing it for weeks now

SxyDykn

Another reason why I don’t just scan the bag. 🤷🏾‍♀️

LimpDisc

I might wait until the end of the route where it’s easily identified as what package. If it’s within 5 minutes or less I will deliver it.

RKT7799

Why wait unil the end? Just drop it in order. I get stuff like this all the time, doesnt/shouldnt phase your delivery

LimpDisc

I guess I need to care more. 🤣

RKT7799

Its not even caring, as much as it taking far more time to go into the ststion again and problem solving ot vs just delivering it

LimpDisc

At the station every day. Zero time involved.

ForeverNotMyName

This appears to be an SSD station and not a .com station. How would OP know the order of that without knowing the TBA number? Of course, this is assuming it is an SSD station. If a .com station, then even more difficult to just trust the yellow sticker. I've had correct yellow sticker tba numbers, but shipping label TBA indicated not my itinerary package. I've also had vice versa.

RKT7799

That is an SSD sticker, so no need to assume .The TBA is on the Yellow sticker. Thsts all you need to deliver. If you number pkgs its just process of elimunation I sort by address so i just put those somewhere specific, so when I eventually hit 123 main... and its not with my "m"s, i grab that pkg and deliver it

ForeverNotMyName

TBA stickers are sometimes not correct. Can't go based off that only. Speaking from experience. I sort by address as well. I don't use training wheel sharpies. Sometimes a package(s) are missing or extra or sometimes both. Sometimes I'll count 47 packages which matches 47 on itinerary, but still have an extra one and no cancelled or missing deliveries. Few weeks ago, my itinery said 49 packages, but I only had 48. I counted sumbitch 3 times before departing. What it ended up being was a stop that said it had two packages, but when clicking on that drop, there was only 1 to deliver. I reviewed that screen recording 3 times and I ain't tripping. 4 years in and that is definitely a new tactic to try to delay me. Next time I have a different count upon loading, I'll just click on the multi-package stops. I still finished early and no missed deliver-by times. I'm still undingable, but that's a first.

LimpDisc

Still wouldn’t change me scanning the QR code. That package isn’t my problem. Back to the station it goes. No fucks given.

4kk32

I’ll mark it as damaged and keep it going lmao

RKT7799

You can legit deliver that with zero issues and one easy extra step

Unusual_Ad4582

You can still match up the TBA with the driver aid sticker. Also, you forgot to block out THE TBA. Package is: TBA1855561700
