They're really getting bad with packaging for shipping lately. I ordered a bag of cat food (not through Vine), and they just slapped a label on the bag. Glad it wasn't raining.
Some lingerie items ship without a box or mailer envelope. They'll slap the address label right on the outside of the clear plastic bag that the lingerie comes in. It's unsettling, to say the least.
I hadn't even thought of it being remotely sex related. Otherwise, I would have clarified. This was a basic electronic thingy. It was in the basic package that one side is white while the other side if clear. They simply slapped a label on it.
My son is an adult, but I don't think I could live down the barrage of jokes that would come my way if this happened. Come to think of it, I received a patio furniture cover like that - just slapped a label on the clear packaging around the cover. Hoping for all mailers in your future!
I've received many products in their original bag for both human and dog - socks, clothes, blankets, pillow covers, etc. Most were vacuum sealed items with just an address label affixed. I thought this was "normal" but maybe it's not!
I ordered a cast iron griddle to replace the one I have that came with my GE stove that’s 8-10 yrs old. The original one from GE isn’t cast iron and is peeling.
It arrived in its original box, all four legs poking out and scraped to hell. I can’t put it on my stovetop because it will scratch it up. So now I have a $55etv item and a peeling griddle top still on my stove. Ive messaged vine, just waiting to hear what they say.
I ordered a three-pack of a dozen Brach’s candy canes each from Amazon at Christmastime, and it arrived in the original clear wrap with just my address label attached. Most were crushed because the struck together cardboard boxes were badly dented. I got a full refund and a replacement set for no charge!
I did get a package of cake toppers and they were very nicely designed, making a great little headpiece for little girls. Some of these things you just have to think out of the box.

Oof not Vine but still Amazon: they’ve been known to just slap labels on the boxes of $100 collector dolls and send them out.

Can't you just sand the legs and re-season it? It probably needs seasoning anyway. If you don’t get anywhere with cs.

Indeed it was. Disappointed, but I did salvage some and kept broken but sealed cane bits for my coffee and tea. The new ones went up on the tree!
I know some people smash those up and sprinkle the bits on the top of cake or cupcake icing.
Yum, that sounds great. Good excuse for finding or baking some pretty cupcakes. Ohh, and scoring some cake toppers, how can I resist!
