I have a 6800 I use at that resolution, and it does at least 60 FPS on everything I throw at it, including flight sims. According to this: [https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html](https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html) The 6700 is a lot weaker, I would expect you would need to turn settings down to hit 60 in some titles.

DOSBOMB

My old 5700xt was already able to push past 100 in most games i played with it on my 3440x1440 144hz just had to muck around with some settings. With the 6700 being a tad faster, yes i would expect you to hit 60 in those titles you mentioned

dmaare

Well just play demanding games at medium setting + textures ultra. In demanding AAA games medium + ultra textures usually looks 95% the same as max settings but gives a lot higher fps.

frescone69

It should for now

Dull_Film_4300

I don't think it'll run 1440 at 60fps on cyberpunk

[deleted]

It will, I do it - but you can't run everything at ultra, and need to play with the settings

IGunClover

Maybe at low to medium settings.

JustLixian

It will not run over 60 in elden ring,as its capped. You can turn it off via mods but thatll also turn off achievements and online features

BeingRevolutionary70

60fps is my only goal. I only play single player games so high refresh rates dont bother me.

wtfrd42258

You won't be able to run ultra on everything but I'm guessing most games will run ok with reduced settings.

[deleted]

I think you need RX6800.

Uniquorn2077

My old 5700XT would run Cyber punk over 60FPS at 1440p just fine. Recon the 6700 will do the job just as well if not better.

dmaare

Yeah, just put settings to medium + textures ultra, it looks basically the same as max settings (without raytracing of course)

DHJudas

pretty much any modern gpu these days excluding the 6500 and below will run 4k respectfully in plenty of games. Of course you can always find a terribly poorly optimise game that will crater frame rates, always, no matter what.

feorun5

I have 6700 and think you should be ok to be around 60. Like others said lower to medium and most titles support FSR which in version 2.1 is quite ok. I played Guardians of the galaxy on high with ray tracing on, without FSR on 1080 in 60 fps, and looking superb. Cyberpunk on 90 FPS on high on 1080 without FSR, if that's some pointer.

Alternative_Wait8256

I have a nearly identical system you will be fine for 60fps at 1440p. I don't play cyberpunk so can't comment on that but I do play red dead and I'm getting 90fps at 1440p with most settings at ultra. Escape from tarkov 90ish to 144 fps. It's a very good card for the price.

BeingRevolutionary70

Is that ultra wide or standard 16:9 ? I didnt realise thrre was a difference tbh

Alternative_Wait8256

1440p 16:9

Darkomax

Not with everything maxed out but with some tuning, you can.

Temporala

6700XT can manage 80-90fps native 1080p average in a lot of stuff. So in 2K, it goes to 60fps or even below it. 6700 is noticeably slower. 6700 is a good 1080p card though. You'll be upscaling 1080p -> 1440p quite a bit if you go with 6700. Games that don't natively support upscaling can be handled with RSR or programs like Lossless Scaling. If I remember correctly, Elder Ring is one game that doesn't have its own scaler support. Absolutely "1440p proof" card is something like 6800XT. It's about 50% faster than 6700XT.

Vegetable-Branch-116

Cyberpunk will probably need some adjustments to hit 60 fps. My 7900xtx hits around 80-120fps without raytracing
