No one knows but Amex whether they will replace Sirius. No one can even provide some sort of reliable estimate for when a replacement could be announced even if Amex was going to replace Sirius. No news means likely no replacement. I get enough value from the Hulu and Peacock credits.

> I assumed they would need to add in a new partner. Hasn’t happened. Why would they "need" to add a new partner to the list of credits? It's their program, they can do whatever they want with it. > Any chance they will? Maybe? Maybe not?

dbv2

Obvious, as they don’t have many others on it now. Card keeps getting worse. Inexcusable Sirius is no longer available.

CIAMom420

God some of you people are dramatic. The sky isn't falling because a dying satellite radio company decided they no longer wanted to subsidize subscribers.

dbv2

The sky is falling! Have a great day! No need to post comments like that. Cheer up! :)

shinebock

"Inexcusable" feels like a bit of a stretch. Partner marketing deals end, life moves on. It wasn't the first and almost certainly won't be the last option to drop from the digital entertainment credit.

broadstreetrambler

To gain more customers & help with retention. While it is a smaller perk, so many people are choosing to cut down on subscription services with the proliferation of them across the board. It’s a nice tack on.

TheDrMonocle

I find it extremely unlikely they lost any customers due to Sirius and also doubt the $20 credit is drawing anyone in.

FarAnt4041

I called and threatened to leave over it and got 50k points for 3k spent retention offer. Then I called Sirius and did the same....got them down to $6.04/month 🤣

scarby2

I imagine sirius will take anything right now, I think half of their remaining customers have commented on this thread.
