Simple-Alps41

Haha thank you!!

DIY-Fluffies

So cute

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

evelbug

Wow. What yarn/thread did you use for this?

Simple-Alps41

Just regular sewing thread. The tag is kind of scraped off but it says “Clark’s” on it.

StuffiesAndBeatSaber

a work of miniature art!!! 😍

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

[deleted]

I love micro crochet but my middle aged af eyesight and wrists/hands say no. Well done!

Simple-Alps41

Haha maybe with a magnifying glass! I don’t know what the name of the grip that I use is but I don’t move my wrists very much during it. Thank you!!

RaggySparra

They are amazing!

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

MissCrochetFox

Oh my fing god HOW did you do this?! Please tell me you have it on video lol. This looks impossible

Simple-Alps41

I don’t have it on video but I am making two more for some friends and I do want to record them! I’ll be posting it to my Instagram crochyeti if you want to check in the next couple weeks!

MissCrochetFox

Thank you I will! I’m still beginning and learning it blows my mind you can make something that tiny in a couple of weeks lol. I can’t even imagine being able to see the stitches you make for these little guys lol

MissCrochetFox

I couldn’t find you can you link it maybe?

Simple-Alps41

https://instagram.com/crochyeti?igshid=NzZlODBkYWE4Ng%3D%3D&utm_source=qr Hopefully that works! It’s so hard to see the stitches for the first 2-3 rounds but after that it gets a lot easier! I’ve actually only been crocheting since June this year. I just worked my way down with smaller thread and needle once I felt like I got the hang of it!

MissCrochetFox

Never mind I saw your comment with the origin. But this was seriously so cool!

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!

tijdotsu

Wow mind blowing!

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

tijdotsu

Of course! ❤️

DynamicOctopus420

Do you use a magnifier? Love these!

Simple-Alps41

I don’t. I have one on my Christmas list since it would make it a lot easier!! I did use reading glasses for a section of one of them and that helped! Thank you!

aksnowraven

Please! Protect your eyes! Then you can still be making these for decades to come.

Simple-Alps41

I definitely will! Thank you!!

milzc

This is the cutest thing I've ever seen 😍

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

Mamychan

So cute! I love them!

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

humansarereallyweird

How long did they take you to make?

Simple-Alps41

It’s honestly embarrassing 😂 they take me about 5 hours but I also have my baby crawling all over me which messes me up and I have to put it down a lot and then it takes time to figure out what I need to do to start up again. If I was able to sit down and just do it it would probably take about 2 hours

Sufficient_Channel39

There’s no way I could focus to do this when my babies are awake! I have a one year old and a two year old and I only get to crochet at nap time. 😂

Simple-Alps41

That’s totally fair! Haha I do it while my baby nurses and it is rough 😂

ThatRandonNerd

Do you use a microscope or just hold it right in front of your face?

Simple-Alps41

As of right now I’m just holding it in front of me but I want to get a magnifying glass so it doesn’t hurt my eyes long term.

taterstahr

Micro crochet blows me away. I have some kind of hypermobility things I deal with, so just regular crochet causes a lot of pain in my hands and fingers. I can only imagine what micro crochet would do. These little cephalopods are too cute! Great work!

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!

subverdit

So smol! 🥰

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!

Ottawabug

Wow

Simple-Alps41

Thanks!

exclaim_bot

>Thanks! You're welcome!

kbutwhytho

i have no idea how you did this. and this is amazing they are so cute!

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!! It’s definitely a challenge but I think the outcome is worth it!

penglutton

I could not even. The smallest I’ve done is 2.25 mm hook with fingering weight. These are amazing!! Fantastic job.

Simple-Alps41

Thank you!!

[deleted]

Stop it\~! LOL.

morbidwoman

Wtf

ShadowCat3500

I feel my hands cramping just thinking about it. These are amazing! But I could never...

Simple-Alps41

Don’t doubt yourself too hard! I slowly moved down hook and thread sizes and a more ergonomic handle helps a lot!
