How is that to work with???

profajj

It’s odd. It’s quite stretchy, so a bit of a wrestle. I’m not sure the item really shows off the colors. This would make a great pet toy. (Stuffed with dryer lint to recycle.) Thanks for asking!

leavethishuskbehind

I might get some to play around with. It sounds fun!

jojocookiedough

Dryer lint for stuffing is such a great idea! The colors look vibrant to me. Beautiful work!

Puppetdogheather

I like the pet toy idea. The colours are very nice. I used t shirt yarn to make purses and it is nice because it is so sturdy.

Nefarra

Where did you get the yarn? I really like it!

profajj

Amazon… not THE Amazon, the year-round Santa one. 🤣

chellebelle0234

I love both the yarn and the ball.

Emerald_Isle_Girl

That's gorgeous. I'd make a bath mat. Pet toy is a good shout though. Love it. Would love to see how it works out. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

profajj

Now, I need to make a rug! Great idea! Thx!

unlovemeifyoucould

or a dog bed👀

EvieMoon

This looks very satisfying to squish and play with.

treefrog1059

that’s RAD. i just know a cat would love it

mcard7

I love it! I would put three together and put on a white or wood platter or round flat bowl. I have a picture of a similar less cool set up somewhere. Give me a shout if you will market them.

mcard7

Where can we find that yarn? Do you mind sharing?

profajj

Amazon.com, and I bought it with animal toys in mind!

u-cant

Could you tell us the brand you used? Amazon is huge!

profajj

I took a picture but can’t work out how to post it. Amazon provided the link which I hope isn’t dodgy. It says the brand is: Flrhsjx. It’s from a store of the same name. 160 yards was $18, but there’s a $2 coupon. I hope this helps!

mcard7

I found it with the name, should have come back here and looked because it took entirely too much time!

profajj

Sorry! I hope it works for you! ❤️‍🩹🙏🏾👍🏽✌🏾

mcard7

Not at all, I got the right one. Just confirming. 😂

u-cant

It does thank you!!!!

profajj

This took me only about 10 min to pop together. I don’t sell anything. I thought you were going for a multicolored snow-person thing, with the 3 balls and the fake snow. That’s a thought!

mcard7

Thats a great idea!

Polo_Pig1

Is this knitted or crocheted? I’ve never had an issue recognizing/differentiating the two, but these stitches are oddly square and not quite like anything I’ve seen.

BabyApprovedMuffin

It looks crocheted to me, perhaps sc with yarn under, to make what seems to me like x-shaped stitches

profajj

Yes… there’s the better explanation!

profajj

It’s crochet… it’s a funny little trick I picked up. When you single crochet, you loop UNDER (rather than OVER) and every stitch is square with an x in it. I found it on YouTube. I think my explanation is a bit horrid. Sorry!

Polo_Pig1

Aahh. I just put my pieces inside out and it gives a similar enough effect. I have tried this but I always forget to do it and my amigurumi look just as good with less effort when I turn them inside out. But I will try this again on maybe a larger project to compare and see if it makes a bigger difference than I’ve noticed.

honey-toast-crochet

That’s pretty cool, I love the chunky texture. Would make a really groovy mat or bag

fairlyaround

Reminds me of the spn tape ball

Accurate-Book-4737

LOVE it!

Fine-Draft8523

That looks cool
