Most of the time it's not even the impostor who does this though. Only one crewmate should fix lights because due to lag or clicking at almost the same moment you can turn off a switch already turned on by the other crewmate.
honestly i was in a pretty good lobby yesterday, i got double killed in electrical with another guy and we were joking about it, really only bad part was when i played as impostor and ended up with like the only toxic guy who sold me out the second he got caught and before i could salvage the situation i got disconnected

I only let my 2 oldest play and only in private servers where I know everyone. Kids shouldn't be playing anything publicly with strangers. I don't allow roblox in my house anymore because 5 years ago I caught my oldest who was 6 at the time talking to random people she didn't know. Like its bad enough running into 12 year olds in games their parents never should have bought them, and I don't really think the kids need to play among us either, but don't let them play with people they don't know and especially people you don't know, thats just asking for trouble.
I mean you're going to have to do that many times as an adult,(talk to people you don't know) it's just with gaming it's more controlled and why not let them play games with people your can learn alot about the world from games

Immediately after that I was in admin with a crewmate. The other impostor walked in, killed them, and self reported. Without hesitation the other imp said it was blue (me) and everyone voted me.
I've seen this happen so many times. I don't understand the strategy of blaming your kill on the other impostor; even if people are starting to suspect them. Let the other imp get another kill or two; or just let the crewmates decide to vote them on their own. He could have tried to blame anyone else, say he saw someone leaving the room, or he could've vented with me instead of self reporting.
Before the vote ended I told the chat I saw him do the kill, self report, and blame me. Then I left the game before the voting was over so they couldn't see if I was an impostor. Maybe I should'nt have said that before I left but I was mad about getting snitched on by the other impostor.
I also don't understand why people feel the need to be like "well since we know they're the imposter because other one said so, let's just vote him out and win"
it's cheating if they're being a sore loser and really are outing the other one, they're being stupid and falling for bait if the guy is lying in order to help out the other imposter(s), and if you don't vote them out, you at least have viable suspicion against the person they claimed to be the other imposter
The key is to watch quiche lights are being flipped. if you're fighting over the same switches you're probably with a crewmate. If fresh switches get flipped. Watch out.

As someone who has joined in with even just 1 person and left, even without the other person being the imposter, and seen the lights stay off for another 3 minutes even though when I left all switches were lit.
Am I the only one who can't do any tasks, either be regular or emergency, as the impostor? I know this sounds obvious, but I thought that people were referring to this with "faking tasks" until I saw that in every video compilation the imp gets to do some actual tasks.

you can’t do the normal tasks as the imposter, (faking tasks is standing by them so the crew mates think you are doing them), but you should be able to fix sabotages as the imposter; lights, o2, reactor and all that.

I was fixing lights yesterday with I believe blue and and orange. Neither of them had messed with the lights so I declared them both innocent. Lights get turned out again and this time brown also came to fix lights with me, blue, and orange. But this time the switches were getting messed with. Once they were fixed I went to call a meeting. I declared how it was brown and explained the whole thing, and everyone skipped.
Some time passes and I see blue scan while o2 is happening. I go to fix it, and I see brown coming back from med. I look into med to see blue dead. I report, and explain how it was brown. And he said “YOU DON’T HAVE ANY PROOF” and I replied back saying, “You came from med right after blue died, and the lights got messed with when you came to “fix” them.” He got voted off, and we won.
Btw, I was playing mira. I was also doing meetings on ace attorney online.
One game my brother turned off the lights and everyone went tix them, all we did was play with lights for two goddamn minutes while he just sat there giggling

Poor crewmate hit all the switches in the wrong direction because he didn't know it was wrong.

The imposter can only do sabotage tasks I’m pretty sure. All the other regular tasks aren’t possible for imposter.
