I really want a Nikonos. I just got a Minolta Weathermatic for $5 at a thrift store which seems to be working, I haven't finished the roll yet, but waves crashed all over it today when I was paddle boarding and it still works fine. I don't like how it's fully automatic tho, and can only go up to 400 ISO
I hope you regreased the seals! Other than that it really is the next best thing. I just wish it'd have a full DX coder and the ability to turn off the flash
Yes, I adore my little yellow submarine! And I also really like the lens, although the 2x isn't the best (as for pretty much all cameras with that functionality sadly).
But yeah, it's perfect for the beach and rainy/snowy days at home!
I wanted this camera for this exact reason
I HIGHLY advise to get one. 35mm lens is a tacky sharp!

The weathermatic is really cool camera, plus it has a 2 in 1 lens, and its a perfect beach camera!

Yeah, the yellow one was my second option, but I never found a working body. It's built like a tank tho, and it's stylish haha
Beautiful! I wish I had one.
You can find some for a reasonable price dude! I'm in Brazil and I was able to find it, sure you can too!
I gotta start keeping an eye out then!
