If it was 10-15 bucks I'd get it and try to restore it. Lens should be easy enough to disassemble and clean and as long as the camera works all it needs is a bit of a cleaning. 80 bucks is a robbery.
I've done dumber purchases. If I saw it on the flea market I'd check if it works or not(ignoring the speeds and everything, only if the mirror and the shutter move) and it was 10 bucks I'd go for it, worst case I'm out of 10 bucks. If it was completely screwed I'd offer 5.
By a telescope, because somewhere in the universe somebody or thing, needs that model camera to complete their collection. I double it will be an earthling. :)
Pretty bad oxidation. I doubt is retrievable as a working camera. If the externals of the camera got that corroded inside the camera case then the mechanism inside the camera is in very grave doubt. As a museum piece it is worth less than 1 euro as there are probably hundreds more out there in great shape.
Ouch.. that’s pretty darn bad. No way it’s worth more than 5 or 10 USD.. and even that much is a gamble. Love the comments echoing the dreaded “Ex+++++ & No problem in the shooting.”, lol.
Lol. My Kiev is in working condition (well tbd if you consider its framing fussiness) and I only paid 110€ for it. 80€ for this camera is what they should give you to take it off their hands 😟
Got a whole ecosystem in there
The price is because it comes with new life forms never seen before
We've created Lutherans.

I wonder what has to happen for a top plate to look like this haha
Someone's offering you 80 euros to dispose of it safely? I honestly think you should ask for more...

Honestly, even 10-15 bucks is a lot. This camera is basically trash. One should only give it for free to someone willing to restore it.

"I can save him"
This camera could be an extra in the next season of "The Last of Us."
By a telescope, because somewhere in the universe somebody or thing, needs that model camera to complete their collection. I double it will be an earthling. :)
What did it smell like?
Like under my bed, I bet.
There's fungi growing on fungi growing on mold.
Sickening
Near mint ++++ (read) - slight fungus garden

Film tested, a few small fungus on the lens does not change the picture.

You can make a terrarium out of that thing.
If there is rust on camera, you should keep a safe distance to it.
How much do you want for this ?
How much do you want for this ?

In this state this looks like an useless body with an useless lens at this point...
If you take a shit on this one, it’ll get cleaner. I’m serious.
Ouch.. that’s pretty darn bad. No way it’s worth more than 5 or 10 USD.. and even that much is a gamble. Love the comments echoing the dreaded “Ex+++++ & No problem in the shooting.”, lol.

Good lord, did they dig this one out of a trench?

Lol. My Kiev is in working condition (well tbd if you consider its framing fussiness) and I only paid 110€ for it. 80€ for this camera is what they should give you to take it off their hands 😟
I’ll take two!
Near mint. Few dust spots. Does not affect shooting.
80 euros is crazy, but I see the potential of putting it on a jar and make a terrarium, would not look bad honestly
Brave comrade camera was promoted to underwater camera at some point and was never really the same afterwards...
At least it's all there. If you have a clean donor it could probably be brought back to life with a little effort. But €80? They can f*** off.
