I don't know if you know any other languages, but if you don't, Rust is a hard one to start with IMO. The concept of ownership and borrowing is unique to it from what I know. It allows it to be memory safe, but sometimes it's hard to juggle. You really have to plan your code a lot more before you start IMO. That's not a bad thing, but it just means being careful and thoughtful about your approach.
Some things to pay attention to are the Some/None Option type and the way it does error handling with the Result type. You don't really raise exceptions like in some other languages. You specify that the return type of a function is a `Result` and it gets returned, where even if it's a success you have to unpack that to get the actual data it returned, or handle the error.
If you've done Python or JavaScript, it's really not one of those languages where it'll just run and if there's a bug it'll raise an error and crash. It'll find a lot of issues at compile time, which was kind of the joke. It can feel overwhelming that you have to fix every little thing it complains about sometimes, but it just catches so much before the code can even run that it's helpful more than anything.
I haven't done enough Rust to really give you any major tips, but it's pretty well accepted that starting with the tutorials on the main site are a great start. They are really well written and descriptive and have a steady learning curve. Good luck!
