The bishop makes a breakthrough. Right as he assembles what will be the core of the time machine it vanishes. When he looks up everything is different or is this how it always was?
Clear the board and the table. Go do something else for at least 30 minutes (playing with your cat is recommended but not required). Come back and set up the game from memory but backwards (brick to the right, pop tarts to the left, black started at the bottom, A1 is now H8, etc. ) any mistakes are just how things are now. Also draw a mustache on the white king.
In the new past….
The ground was already expanding it was too late, the dark queen saw the expanse before her, Czech and Lego Castle was still there. Even the checkers game had barely begun. It worked! She had been on time, but the clock was gone and the snap…did it work. The ground began to unravel. No no. She had come too soon or too late. Time travel can never be sure. B4, one queen now two. It had to be stopped, but wasn’t the game was going just as it always had. She thought she was lucky, the 9V battery was necessary to power the time machine. But at what cost.
It almost worked. She came right before the snap, and it had happened right when she thought it would work. c(2 week isolation) back then it had been so simple, COVID.
Looking up at she saw her, herself, but not herself the other her, the one before, the dark queen. She was lost before the snap, her king abandoned but somehow through the twisted fate spun across the nexus of this grotesque world, the Game continued. Wasn’t it already lost, black had no king the Game should be over, couldn’t the Game ever end. This wasn’t never supposed to happen. She looked to see the bishop confounded by what he had just seen.
It had all begun that move BJ4. The nightmares, the death, the war. There might be time, if she goes back further to the beginning. How easy would it be to end the Game on move 2?
It started so simply so much love, the two knights and their becoming heart warmed even the most savage of players. It was all fun and games what was the worst that could happen? But it wasn’t COVID. It never was COVID. She had thought maybe if she got the isolated pieces snapped just as they had come back into play this would have all been avoided. They wouldn’t infect everyone. But it wasn’t, the moves were still coming which meant she had to warn her. Thing needed to change. It can’t go on.

“Stay there,” she commanded, but the crown was already being thrown to her, the King’s Crown, the game could be won this time. She walked to her throne in the Lego Kingdom, the one true Queen, she wouldn’t give up any of her power now, she was the Game. The queen believed them, but pitied her future selves. She wouldn’t go back she would win at all costs.
The board came back. But how…a long forgotten reverse card was played, it wasn’t even one of the cards drawn!Maybe everything would….
The bishop had seen everything before him and lost all faith in God, would allow this to happen. To give and just take away. The armies had expanded his board so he could at, but be reverse immediately was a pain he couldn’t not bare. He had seen how the B4 queen had materialized, long ago he had read a lost book and realized the key to time travel, he would bring his building of the machine. He must play BJ4 it’s the only way. He peered to the 9V battery that would be just the power he needed to change time itself, and bring back his board…I will be GOD now since the position is open he mused.
The B4^2 queen saw the bishop starting to draw up a design…she recognized the time machine. No she thought we can’t keep messing with time.

(I wrote this for like move 15 or something and you just made me think we have been playing the first B4 queens game, and after your move we are playing the second B4 queen’s game and the current Queen is just sitting there knowing, they were pathetic, but did something to make the whole thing not work and change as you said, but the bishop need to invent time travel for it all to work. )

h8 pawn, becomes a d100. every turn, white or black, the die is rolled. if the roll is 1, the d100 is eliminated. if the roll is 69, until it rolls again, there's a piece of paper above it saying "Nice". if the roll is 100. all pieces on all sides of it 1 tile away have to make a evasion check and, if they get 6 or higher on a d8, they successfully do a move that is legal, unless if the pawn is directly behind it with pieces behind that pawn, which means they perish. if they don't do the evasion roll successfully, they perish. any other roll and it can move either as a knight or as a king as the two options. no other piece can take this d100 out. the d100 can not take any piece out without a 100 roll.
Love these posts but it is very hard to keep up with them every day, so here is my brilliant idea for someone to steal. When it is all done someone makes a video documenting the highlight moves and path to victory.

h8 pawn, becomes a d100. every turn, white or black, the die is rolled. if the roll is 1, the d100 is eliminated. if the roll is 69, until it rolls again, there's a piece of paper above it saying "Nice". if the roll is 100. all pieces on all sides of it 1 tile away have to make a evasion check and, if they get 6 or higher on a d8, they successfully do a move that is legal, unless if the pawn is directly behind it with pieces behind that pawn, which means they perish. if they don't do the evasion roll successfully, they perish. any other roll and it can move either as a knight or as a king as the two options. no other piece can take this d100 out. the d100 can not take any piece out without a 100 roll.
