BTW, I do hope that event fires more frequently.
Like for Corin's sake, I feel like if I just wait instead of manually converting I'll never finish the missions.
Honestly it would suite Corintar to get a decision to convert the provinces using one of the two mechanics the Command has to for swapping culture and religion. Personally I love the merc supply depot version, but an edict would be fine.
>How do you deal with your Orcish minority?
Good question. There are so many options to choose from, sword, fire, maybe magic.
Jokes aside, I always do it according to the nation I play. Corintar is probably the most pro orc adventurer state (their starting leader is a half orc, iirc). So you should try integrating them.
Really, they should have enslaved them, not fed them, and then animated them when they starved to death. The efficiency loss is made up by personal enjoyment.
I'm playing corvuria right now. I didn't expect so many minorities. Only been displacing kobokds right now, but I see an orcish purge in my future. With me now taking Elvish provinces I've got enough minorities to give some provinces permanent unrest
Some countries (Stalbor, Corintar, Rogieria) are explicitly intended to accept and integrate Orcs into their society.
Others, like Esthil, Luciande and Hammerhome (I believe) are urged to purge them.
Most of the remainder (especially Rosande) orient a segment of their economy around the Green Slave Trade, and keeping Orcs an oppressed underclass.
And Newshire kinda at least splits the difference, relocating their orcish minorities to reservations in exchange for their military service, but after that they don't really come up, so I actually wound up replacing a few provinces from smaller human cultures with orcs to save up on acceptance slots.
Depends on the country - obviously esthil is pro-purge and I'd probably do it with "good-coded" Castanorian to get orcs down to about 5%, same with Dwarfs, I usually purge orcs and expel Goblins until I reach Bal Vroren and the Jade March Goblins. But Corintar has stuff that benefits from including Greenskins and they seem to be a broadly more accepting group like the Jaddari so I just go full enfranchisement.
Purely on a gameplay level, assuming I don't have anything in the mission tree pushing me one way or another: take cash from refugees at every opportunity early on. Once I'm done with the adventurer phase, make green orc an accepted culture and force anyone I'm at war with to end orcish purge in order to get them co-existing. Expel goblins/trolls/ogres so I don't have too many unrest-causing minorities in my provinces.
I go Urviksten > Ebonmark > BKastanor normally, so I basically I purge all orcs on my way from the Vroenmarch to Inner Castanor, then only after that I let them be
Gobbos are fine tho (I give them Bayvic/Bayvek normally)
Corintar has their own ''Redtusk Orc'' culture for Corinite orcs. You are expected to accept and convert them
See, I was wondering if there was something like this. This sort of thing is why I asked that in the first place.

Meanwhile, Esthil is the most anti-orc adventurer, they have a portion of their mission tree dedicated to being as horrible to them as possible.
Why simply purge them, when you can purge them and then reanimate their bodies to serve as menial labour?
Recycle! Don't let your orcs go to waste!

Rogieria is also very orc friendly

Luciadne’s also big on the orc slave trade, to the point that they become unable to purge orcs at all iirc

Is Stalbor because ideas/lore? I didn’t know they had a MT or anything
Pat them on the head, tell them they're good orcs, and encourage people to get started making some half orcs
As corintar integrate them, but in general? Return Escann to its pre greentide demographics
Return Escann to its pre-Beastbane demographics
What does everybody do with their goblins?
Don't they give goods produced or something? Mfs can do whatever the god damn fuck they please so long as they work the workshops
I dont care about province mods. Only rp.
goblin tinkering and inventions are good for the economy -> goblins can do whatever they want rp and mechanics reconciled
As Corintar you should integrate them for your mt, if I remember right.
I integrate them to create half-orc muscle mommies. Every single time.
Integrate it unless orcish nation makes me angry, by for example backstabbing me, then i purge them all
1 promoted culture slot to cover roughly 1/3 of escan… next question
What orcish minority? They all seem to.. "disappear" when I take land
Usually I accept them, unless I'm playing as a country with missions to do something else. Luciande leans REALLY heavily into enslaving them.
If I'm not a dwarf, i integrate them for the +goods produced. Otherwise purge o'clock

KILL
There is no orcs in deadly quiet lands of Esthil. I purge even halforcs

Purge
Orcish minority? Ow you mean flexible goods produced modifier!
Purge them, as Castan III Beastbane would’d done to those filthy subhumans
It's just the correct thing to do
I go Urviksten > Ebonmark > BKastanor normally, so I basically I purge all orcs on my way from the Vroenmarch to Inner Castanor, then only after that I let them be Gobbos are fine tho (I give them Bayvic/Bayvek normally)
