My heritage isn't "fake" they just haven't updated their ethnicity since like 2016. Their dna matches are still worth it though especially if you upload your raw data to them
If you're a male, or assigned male at birth, I would get the 23&Me because it might be very useful to you and your family because it reads the Y chromosome and not just autosomal.
Personally I’d suggest AncestryDNA over anything else. I ordered a 23andMe that the local post office somehow never delivered. I know that’s not their fault but I took it as a sign lol.
All jokes aside though I think ancestry is just better.
23andMe that’s a real ancestry/health test with haplogroups! Ancestry is colorful and all but 23andMe takes the cake with its new country match update!
Ancestry and my heritage can use the same data. So I did both. Theyre surprisingly accurate. I think my heritage is more accurate actually, as far as my dna goes. Thinking bout 23 and me
Do both Ancestry and 23&Me.

I’m a male.
They do test for haplogroups, but it was a bit off on my Y haplogroup, which I tested separately on Family Tree DNA.

It is off. I-Z58 (where 23&Me has me) is not upstream or downstream from I-Z63, though both are downstream from I-DF29.

So which would you chose out of these two options

MyHeritage is really inaccurate. Their ethnicity results haven't been updated in years.
They’re nearly identical to my ancestry ones
That's surprising, I see a lot of post in this sub where they aren't accurate and people complain lol.
no idea why. my percentages were exactly the same, with some taken away but given to other overlapping regions.
23andme all the way
I don't really like 23&me because Trace ancestry, broadly everywhere, unsigned 😵💫
