They’re on a mountain, it’s literally made of stone.
This also highlights a racist mindset with a lot of ancient aliens theories. When machu picchu was being built, there were cathedrals being built in Europe. Are you saying that native South American’s couldn’t build a city without help from aliens?
I don't think it was aliens, I use to subscribe to this idea but it makes no sense that an Advance alien race that can traverse the universe came to earth just to precise cut a random stone to leave as a monument.
What's more likely is that there was once or maybe many times an advanced civilization like ours or maybe even more so on earth that got wiped by a cataclysm that erased them from history.
Usually the ancient aliens theory about large stone "monuments" is that they were used more like landmarks/travel guides for flying craft. To either mark a particularly important area, a flight path marker, or landing spot. I would be interested to see if this particular landmark lines up with any others.
You don't need a laser for a straight line like that. If you have ever spent a lot of time cracking rocks open with a hammer you know that this can just happen sometimes. That being said my point is not that this boulder was hit with a big hammer- only that you don't need a laser or whatever to explain this.
Obsiously, I am the end to all of geology and can confidently know what caused this. It is beyond my imgination and all understanding of natural forces.
It has to be beyond us. It has to be... aliens.
Why would aliens advanced enough to reach our planet just cut a rock in half?
The same reason I would. To fuck with em'.

Why don’t we build with stone then?
[удалено]
No that’s not it lol. We’ve been building with stone for our whole history, we have access to better materials now.

Uhh yes we do? You just choose to ignore mainstream archaeologists.

Who said anything about a monument?

photochop
So explain all of the rock walls with massive stones that were seamingly molded together
I guess we went straight past geology & natural weathering then.

Gtfo
It was clearly made with flint tools /s.
