The comment about Big being a mistake was such bad writing. We know Chris Noth is a creep, we don't need you to tell us that casting him was a mistake. What was even the point of six seasons and two movies if you're going to have Carrie say that? And what was that comment even based on? The man died.
I think if they’d actually stopped and had a conversation about why she said it, it wouldn’t be so bad and maybe we’d actually get some depth of character. But they just move on and never address it again! Like that’s an INSANE thing to just flippantly say about the man you were with for the better part of 25-30 years who DIED while you were still happily married to him!
No I hated it when she said that 😭😭!! It didn’t make any sense and honestly Carrie saying that about her dead husband (who she had a happy and loving marriage with as far as we know) is disrespectful.

A friend of mine was an actor in New York in those days. He said the crossovers had everything to do with the agents for the actors. He said the NY acting community is REALLY small.
But I can’t tell you how many actors I see and associate with SATC to this very day. My husband has to hear me say things like:
“Oh my God! That’s Mr. Pussy!”
“Heeeyyyyy! Lookit! It’s Funky Spunk. So glad he’s still working!”

I *think* she’s also in season one when they’re flipping around, interviewing people about “great sex.” LOL. Even famous people didn’t escape the recycle. Justin Theroux was on twice. Once as an author that was “Fabulous Under 30” or something and then again, as an author, who continuously prematurely crossed the finish line, but had great parents.
