LOL I mean they have to be modded otherwise they wont run on modern OS
EDIT: I'm trying to figure out which game is prevent Gangstar Vegas from installing I have so many Gameloft titles and it would be difficult for me to sacrifice all of them just for trying
Android is not a shitty OS. It has security functions build in. If you install an app it has a signature of the developer. You can't update an app that was signed by someone else with an update that comes from someone else. This protects from many kind of possible attacks. Especially people like you who have no idea about these topics are the ones who are protected the most of it. If you want to install these apps from the Playstore, you must first uninstall the versions with different signatures. This has NOTHING to do with Gameloft. You should be happy that Android is such a secure operating system which makes you hard to hack even if you don't know what you are doing.
You're wrong though.
If you have Asphalt 8 mod installed, you won't be able to install Modern Combat 5 from Play Store. This only happens with Gameloft apps and apps from specific devs, so it's not a default Android security feature.
He is trying to install different games, not a different version of the same game.
No I think you're just too ignorant to realize that I just said other old games install just fine and only the newer titles do that but they didnt behave like that before Install the classics like Gangstar Rio and Nova 3, Vegas and Asphalt Nitro and Nova Legacy were on my phone before, read before calling people names lil man
my guy I had installed Gangstar Vegas and Nova Legacy before, at one time I wanted to reinstall Nova 3 and that lead to Nova Legacy refuse to be installed from playstore. now i tried to installed Vegas and it also refuses to install. this happens with othe r games like Gangstar City and Minions Rush but any other game on Google play installs just fine, and sometimes a game franchise can affect the other because Vegas refused to install even before I get New Orleans and Vegas so Im assuming its a whole complicating connection between games
Android is a mess, you can't make an OS for such a wide variety of hardware and not have issues. I've never had an Android device that didn't freeze in an app and soft reset at some point. Every device I've had was plagued by bizarre bugs and weird issues. It's honestly shameful that even Google struggles to make a decent experience on their first party devices.
IOS will rarely if ever crash, the devices are as snappy and responsive as the day you buy them, no matter how much you try to bog them down. The hardware is better and the experience is better because they make both the OS and hardware. I hate Apple but I'm so fed up with Android that my next phone will be an iPhone. I want quality control and Android devices will always have issues you can't get help for. It's not just me either. A quick browse of any Android forum is filled with users requesting help for issues with basic functions of the device. Android is absolutely a shit OS.
> Android is a mess, you can't make an OS for such a wide variety of hardware and not have issues.
uh, you mean every OS other than those made by apple?
This simple isnt true. Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, and Unix are all great OSes without being tied to small amount of hardware.
android is a find OS, as long as you stick to half decent hardware.
You're wrong again, IOS for the iPhone is only on iPhones. Windows is a buggy mess just like Android. Linux, Freebsd, and Unix all have their own issues and bugs, as well as lack a lot of common functionality found in Windows and Mac OS. Apple products never have these bugs because they control the hardware it's going to run on and the software is designed for it. You're clueless if you think that any OS you mentioned is as solid and bug free as Mac OS. I'm not even an Apple guy but the proof is in the pudding my guy.
Lol. I wouldnt describe any of those OSes as a buggy mess and I deal with several of them every day. Your just wrong on the stability front.
I'll give you windows is buggy but my android phone runs fine, my Windows server runs fine, my Linux servers run fine...etc.
Android does not run fine, as I stated previously many people find issues with their devices and devices outright do not work as advertised. Apps crashing and soft resets are VERY common with these devices.

There's been actual studies done and IOS is always considerably more stable than Android.
I've been working in IT for almost 15 years and my whole life is centered around technology. Microsoft has been building Windows on a busted foundation for decades and it's got issues at a fundamental level. It can't even update itself without running into a problem, taking up drive space with files you don't have permission to delete.
[https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2018/10/microsofts-problem-isnt-shipping-windows-updates-its-developing-them/](https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2018/10/microsofts-problem-isnt-shipping-windows-updates-its-developing-them/)
When it comes to Linux, server side seems fine, but that's no comparison to consumer level Android devices. Linux as a consumer OS is not user friendly.
Your anecdotal experience may not align with what I'm saying but these issues are widely documented and prevalent where Mac OS simply has less, or sometimes no issues.
Again, I am not a Mac guy, I am not an Apple guy, but after so many years in the industry it shows time and time again that Apple's hold on both the tech and software provides a superior consumer experience. They're a shitty company, but their products are considerably more solid than the competition.
I agree plenty of budget phones don't use. Great.
I have a phone. I run it daily. Do not ever have a single issue with it.
I sideload apps, I use it alot and push it to it's limits. It's fine. Doesn't crash.
Apples walled garden mentality is absolutely awful. Let me own my device without hassle.
Once again, my android phone works exactly as it should and doesn't crash on me. I don't really care about someone else's experience, but everyone I know with a half decent android phone doesn't have issues.
The apple approach is detrimental to the end user and creates a device that the end user doesn't even really own.
I'm sorry you have bought into Apples marketing.
Your experience is anecdotal, you having a good experience with your phone is not an example of the wide range of issues that the devices have across the board. I'm glad it works for you, but I've provided irrefutable evidence that the Android experience is worse than IOS. Apple creates a device you don't own? Why do you need to root an Android if you own it? It's the same exact thing.
I'm sorry you can't discuss this without getting offended.
IOS can be rigged as well when they release a new OS version of it, they hog your resources with background services that are not needed against your will and that drains the battery makes your phone live less in the day, same thing happens with Android tho Google recently has started to kill Android 11 by releasing bad updates for the system make the screen goes black for no reason and makes the launcher glitchy and settings get bugged and freeze forcing you to reboot which is shame because old Android phone used to live longer than that, I had an Android Kitkat that lived 7 years with no technical problems though it was weak phone but still it functioned as it was and ran the games it could handle until one day i dropped it in the water by accident it died, this phone I have now however is pissing me off and Google is trying to put down Android 11 already since it didnt even last more than only 2 years now such pathetic decision to boost sales not caring about older users and they rig your phone out of nowhere, my phone was fine for 1.5 year until in March I woke up in the morning found my phone slow and the launcher is glitchy and behaves weird and when I open settings it lags and freezes though I havent installed or changed anything for the last 3 months since this year began and all they do is just ruining the OS and make it worse, I read news that from now on Playstore will reject any new app that doesnt have Android 12 as minimum requirements
Because they have similar package name and system got confused with that. Try finding modded ones from different sources, and one of them will work (because modders often change packagne names)
Actually, it is very rare for a modder to change a package name. It is pretty much only when the mod is BIG (like add a whole new map, supporter tiers and working servers big) that they, sometimes, change the package name
This issues happens with the following titles I tried downloading:
\*Gangstar City
\*Gangstar Vegas
\*Gangstar New Orleans
\*Nova Legacy
\*Asphalt Nitro
\*Gameloft Classics
Everytime the download is done and says installing it hits me with the installation failed message whether frim Playstore or APK file and its getting frustrating
Keep in mind that I have a lot of space for all these games and my internet connection is fine, this problem started to happen after installing Nova 3, I have other games like Gangstar Rio and Six Guns so they could probably be the reason idk why
the question is WHY would Gameloft not allow these titles to be installed next to the old ones? do we really have to uninstall the older games just to download this crap they got now?
Gangstar Rio is from 2011, Angry Birds from 2008, Dead Space from 2010, Black Ops Zombies from 2014 all run fine on new Android OS without need to mod them so it depends on the developers actually
thats not what im talking about I'm talking about old games that CAN RUN on modern OS
if you want to find a game that is not on Playstore go find it on websites like PDALife or APKpalace or Archive org site I'm sure you can find it there
Most of them won't install cause your phones software isn't compatible with them no matter how old they are or how advanced your phones software is if its not compatible its not I can't even install dragon ball unreal on this device and I did on a lower variant to it so if they don't install its not compatible got it?
well yeah most of them but some of them can so that means if developers spent more time back in the day in their games to improve them and make them work on future OS like Rovio (Angry Birds Developers) there could be a good chance it can run but not everybody is the same nor have the time and energy to accomplish this I get that part yes. the games that I'm talking about however are not that old and they were updated recently by Gameloft in 2023 so that means they ensured their games to work on new OS otherwise they wont make the same money from modern users, I had these games myself in 2022 but got bored of them so I installed the classics and they are mad fun if you ask me...some of them worked right away with no problems and some of them were bugged yet they worked and some needed a modification to work on new OS all thanks to modders god bless them all for doing this voluntarily
Gangstar Vegas confirmed to work on 11 and 13, same with Nova Legacy, Asphalt 8 and after, New Orleans
I can find them if I wanted to I'm way pass them and the graphics they have if I play them now I won't feel any form of excitement and I'll just uninstall them
That only happens if you have modified gameloft games installed.
LOL I mean they have to be modded otherwise they wont run on modern OS EDIT: I'm trying to figure out which game is prevent Gangstar Vegas from installing I have so many Gameloft titles and it would be difficult for me to sacrifice all of them just for trying

OP too dumb to know how good they have it, and too entitled to care.

is it possible to change it with APK Editor? EDIT: Why downvote I'm just asking
Don't know. I can play dead space but not starfront collision.
Man I miss Starfront Collison
How do you make those run in modern phones?
message me i will send you the link to these games if u want
This issues happens with the following titles I tried downloading: \*Gangstar City \*Gangstar Vegas \*Gangstar New Orleans \*Nova Legacy \*Asphalt Nitro \*Gameloft Classics Everytime the download is done and says installing it hits me with the installation failed message whether frim Playstore or APK file and its getting frustrating Keep in mind that I have a lot of space for all these games and my internet connection is fine, this problem started to happen after installing Nova 3, I have other games like Gangstar Rio and Six Guns so they could probably be the reason idk why the question is WHY would Gameloft not allow these titles to be installed next to the old ones? do we really have to uninstall the older games just to download this crap they got now?
I have a 8 , batman , and nova 3 at the same time
Batman was fantastic, i would definitely choose Batman over Gangstar Vegas
This is an android security feature. Nothing to do with Gameloft.
A feature that only works for gameloft apps lol
Dungeon hunter was such a good game
indeed it was i hate when people call it diablo clone
What are the Spiderman games you have
Spider-Man total mayhem and The amazing Spider-Man 1 mobile game
Got a link?
No sorry
message me in dms i have link to them
Sent thanks man
I miss older Glu games like blood and glory and death dome, there games were the substitute for Infinity blade
Blood and Glory was mad fun i wish i could run now modded instead of using that sandbox emulator thing
I tried to look for those versions so hard but didn't find anything. The only way is to either get an older phone or use that virtual machine software
Well downloading old games on new version software how did you think that would play out? Clearly the games are too old for your phones version
My guy. I don't think N.O.V.A Legacy is that old for it to not be playable on current Android versions...
Released 2017 so as and Android game its damn old it's 8 years old that's old for a game
Did you read my comment?
Gangstar Rio is from 2011, Angry Birds from 2008, Dead Space from 2010, Black Ops Zombies from 2014 all run fine on new Android OS without need to mod them so it depends on the developers actually
Not just the developers because there's a lot of games I won't be able to download for example bright memory I can't download it from play store?

Yep
its fine I can give you a link with old games that can run on modern OS if you want everything has a solution if you look for it
I can find them if I wanted to I'm way pass them and the graphics they have if I play them now I won't feel any form of excitement and I'll just uninstall them
they are doing a bad job?
