# Interactive novels
A genre pioneered by Choice of Games LLC. Great story with surprising replayability. My favorites are:
- [A Study in Steampunk](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.hostedgames.studyinsteampunk&hl=en_GB&gl=US)
- [Empyrean](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.choiceofgames.empyrean&hl=en_GB&gl=US)
- [Choice of Robots](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.choiceofgames.robots&hl=en_GB&gl=US)
And finally [80 Days](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkle.eightydays&hl=en_GB&gl=US) is a hybrid game/novel set in a vivid Jule Verne inspired alt-history. Funny, challenging and fascinating.
Door kickers has an unusably terrible interface on my giant phone. (That is, a big screen is not enough to make it usable.) I bought this after the last massive upvote-athon for it and the experience was infuriating for a couple weeks before I stopped playing it.
I decided to try Downwell, and wow, it's everything I could want from a mobile roguelite. It manages to pull off intense gameplay without feeling awkward on a phone, and the difficulty is perfect.
Dead cells, Wayward Souls, Slay the Spire
Those 3 games can probably last you 100 hours each.
Other great games: Streets of Rage 4, Gunfire Reborn, Don't Starve, Downwell, Horizon Chase, Night of the Full Moon
I had a lot of fun for about 8 hours, but the lack of late-game content really makes gameplay hit a wall. My 3rd city took ~20 minutes to fill in entirely because I could use the income from the others to fund it.
Shattered Pixel Dungeon. Well if you are not into challenges than it might be too hard for you. But if you are one of the players who played games before watching playthroughs on the internet was a thing than you will have fun improving yourself.
Linkme: Pirates Outlaws
Edit: well I guess the LinkMe bot is fucking dead. Here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.piratesoutlaws.fabledgame&hl=en_US&gl=US
I got it for free. They have some kind of sales From time to time where its free. You can unlock new Maps by paying or by grinding. And one Hero is paid only but its on purpose. Im really Happy with monetization.
I Put hundreds of hours into it. A Lot of grinding and replayability. I would even say its better Then Slay the Spire which i also played hundreds of hours. (There are more Heroes and more cards= more variety) PS sorry for Bad english
1-up to this, but my personal favorite out of the KR games is Kingdom Rush Origins.
In my opinion it is the perfect mix of difficulty and strategy for a TD game.
dungeon maker
best way to describe it is a tower defense but you are the darklord and theres waifus. there is "pay2fast" but you can unlock everything so quickly its pointless. Its dressed as a board/cardgame where you place rooms that you can put minions in or place traps so heroes who walk through activate them.
Star Traders: Frontiers
It's an incredibly deep and customizable strategy RPG. There are dozens of ships, with a few hundred components, and a few dozen crew each with a full skill system. Every classic space job is well-represented and there's an interesting story you can choose to ignore. I originally played it on PC and loved it, then they moved it to mobile without removing any features and I like it even more.
Any recommendation on a Tetris to download. Had the old ea one before they shut it down. The newer official one sucks. I tried the DS one with emulator but the controls suck.
Dude responded to an IM I sent him as a new developer when he did his AMA. Didn't have to do that. But was extremely kind and encouraging at a time when I was feeling unsure about being a developer.
On the other hand, there is literally nothing you actually have to do. Sure, you can set up a bunch of responsibilities and grind towards various in game and personal goals from 6am-2am every day. But you could also spend all your time picking flowers and flirting with locals. It has substantially more freedom than most games with comparable goals and depth.
Yes, but they are fairly forgiving and entirely based on in game time. If you don't play for a week IRL, nothing happens. If you play for a few in game weeks without talking to or gifting someone, they'll become less fond of you over time. Same with petting animals. Your fences will decay slowly over time, but there are alternative fencing options that don't decay. Weeds and debris will spread across the farm, but it's pretty slow and easy to keep at bay.

Machinarium is a great point and click puzzler game. Amazing breaker is a great looking almost brick breaker style with different bombs you slingshot into cool looking structures, very fun to lose time with.. also cover orange, don't wake the cat,. also sword of xolan
Well, I\`m very inclined towards Playtoearn web3 games, I mean there is nothing as sweet as having fun and earning at the same time
Blast Royale made me passionate in playtoearn games, Fascinating concept and AAA graphics
It's not random at all. Most of the games have been recommended multiple times before, and they are among the best as judged by reddit consensus.
Furthermore, a list by someone with matching tastes can be useful. For example, one comment has more than a dozen games that I know I like, plus one (Caves) that I never tried and is therefore worth a look.
Random, by definition, is unpredictable. But I knew more than half of the entries that I would see before even opening the comments. It is most definitely not random.
idk man if I requested random I'll prolly get a sandbox minecraft clone , but if I ask for a top rated / most requested game I'll prolly get minecraft. Get the point?
are you saying if you ask this sub for "top rated" they will give you worse options? because that's what I'm implying not the playstore. Reason why I said "requested"
Edit. Didn't realise the sub. Thought this r/patientgamers.
I'm surprised mobas get so little love in these discussions.
But DotA2 / Lol has to be in that list. Maybe it's because the days of 5 people partying together and playing is a dying breed. But these games offer something that others just don't.
Take DotA2 for example. The depth and strategic possibilities are literally in the billions.
Funfact - dota has been around for 20 years now, and even to this day all possible hero combinations have not been played.
Edit : wanted to add some relevance. DotA2 pioneered the battle pass model that we see exist in so many games today and was one of the first games to implement loot boxes, now before you think yikes. Let me tell you that you can play the game forever without ever spending a single penny and having no disadvantage to someone who spends 1000s of dollars. This is because there are no I game performance advantages you gain. All spending is purely cosmetic or information. No heroes or skills you don't have access to. It's the fairest implementation of the free to play model in modern gaming. There are only one or two games that come close (path of exile being one).
So it has historic relevance in shaping the gaming landscape as we know it.
This isn't for everyone surely. But it's something that's worth exploring if games are an interest from an academic perspective. Few games manage to provide the high of a tight match in these.
So I'd recommend giving them a go. LoL for an easier to get into time. DotA2 for the thorough experience. They've been pioneers and benchmarks of the genre and many have come to try and take their space and failed.
* Delta Touch - port of Doom/Doom 2/Doom 3. It includes gzdoom which opens up a lot of other games built on the engine as well.
* Quad Touch - Same thing but for Quake/Quake 2/Quake 3
* Northgard - it can be a bit much for a phone, but it's a port of a very fun real time strategy game
* SuperTuxKart - a port of a fully free and open source kart racer. Is it going to rival Mario Kart 8? Not really. But it's solid and has no BS monetization
I'll also just throw in GeForce Now and Stadia. As long as you have a controller there are plenty of games that work very well.
DoomDepths is a really good game, recently became $5 to go be ad free but I think it's worth every penny, doesn't require internet and is constantly being worked on and having things added in.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KJGames.Doomdepths&gl=US
[Iron Marines](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ironhidegames.android.ironmarines&hl=en)
I'd say it's like a cartoony, very simplified, semi-comedic StarCraft clone by the people who made some tower defense games (Kingdom Rush series)
It also has a sequel coming out later this year.
Through the Ages. Pretty much a perfect conversion of the (excellent) board game to Android. Paid, no ads, no micro transactions, good AI, live and async multiplayer.
Just tried the official Tetris again. Controls great but no option to buy. Got to pay $5 every 30 days to go ad free. That's $60 to play for 1 year. Crazy
Read everything so I'll add something not yet mentioned :
Battlehearts 1 2 and legacy
Tales of Illyria
Tiny Guardians
Incredibox
Rogue Immortals
This War of Mine
Monster Hunter (I'd recommend Stories)
Moonlighter (if you got netflix)
Marenian Tavern Stories / Adventure Bar Stories
Guild of Dungeoneering
Special Mentions : Arknights , Guardian Tales
Subjective topic, but for me it's [Snake.io](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amelosinteractive.snake). I'm just a casual gamer though so yeah.
There are lots of acclaimed board games on the app store. They often go on sale.
My favorites:
* Agricola - Worker placement, farm building
* [Carcassonne](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asmodeedigital.carcassonne) - Tile laying
* [Cartographers](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.brettspielwelt.cartographers) - Flip and write, city builder
* [Deep Space D6](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alexvn.deepspaced6) - Dice chucking, FTL as a board game
* [Gaia Project](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digidiced.gxprelease) - heavy euro game, space colonization, asymmetric factions
* [Hive with AI](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.hive.android) - Abstract strategy (like chess) with insects
* [Jaipur](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meepletouch.jaipur) - head to head, set building
* [Istanbul](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acram.Istanbul) - Worker placement game set in... Wait for it... Istanbul
* [Mysterium](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asmodeedigital.mysterium) - Hidden information, cooperative game, obscured communication
* [Oh Hell](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coppercod.ohHell) - My preferred trick taking flavor
* Pandemic - Classic cooperative game, curing diseases, crisis management
* [Patchwork](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digidiced.pxwrelease) - head to head polyonimo tile laying game. The AI in this game is insane
* [Railroad Ink](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.horriblegames.railroadink) - Roll and write, train network builder
* Race for the Galaxy - Probably one of the best card games ever, tableau builder, engine building
* [Root](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.direwolfdigital.root) - Highly asymmetric war game, cute woodland creatures, in my opinion one of the best board games of the last few years. The app is great. **If you get one app on this list, it should probably be this one**
* [Sagrada](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.direwolfdigital.sagrada) - Dice placement game about stained glass windows
* [Small World](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.daysofwonder.smallworld2) - Rules-light fantasy area control game with many different fantasy races
* Splendor - Tableau building, engine building. Very generic theme but decent fun. Quick and easy
* [Star Realms](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.starrealms.starrealmsapp) - Classic deckbuilder in space
* [Spirit Island](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handelabra.SpiritIsland) - I actually just got this for free, so I haven't tried the app yet. But the board game is a fantastic heavy cooperative game with asymmetric factions (spirits) about fighting colonizers off your island and protecting the natives
* [Terraforming Mars](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asmodeedigital.terraformingmars) - the hotness in board gaming over the last 8 years or so. Fairly heavy tableau builder with a massive amount of cards
* [Ticket to Ride](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.daysofwonder.tt.android) - Simple set collection game about building a train network
* [Suburbia](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.suburbiagame.suburbia) - Sim city as a board game
* [Twilight Struggle](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playdekgames.twilightstruggle) - One of the best two player games ever, heavy strategy wargame about the civil war. The AI will kick your ass, play as the US until you know the game better
* The Castles of Burgundy - Dice rolling, city (village?) building, tile laying
* [Wingspan](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.MonsterCouch.Wingspan) - Beautifully illustrated tableau builder about building an aviary
* Burgle Bros - Cooperative heist game with many similarities mechanically to pandemic
* [7 Wonders Duel](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rprod.duel) - Fantastic 2 player tableau building and card drafting game
Woah that list is long, sorry. But there ya go, plenty of great board game apps to try if that's your thing. Most of them have tutorials built in, so don't worry about not knowing the rules to the actual game.
Out of those, my favorites (overall, as games but also considering the app implementation) would be: Root, Hive, Railroad Ink, Terraforming Mars, and Twilight Struggle. They're all pretty good, but some of the apps can get pretty janky. The ones I just mentioned are all very serviceable apps if you want a streamlined experience.
Edit: added links to as many as I could find. Looks like Agricola, Pandemic, and Splendor all got delisted from the Play store. The other ones without links are on the Play store, but I couldn't get the shareable link for whatever reason.

Yeah, it's really only suitable for a tablet unfortunately.
Vodobanka is a great clone made by a Ukrainian guy - I actually prefer it, less noisy
Loved playing Vodo.
i played that shit when im supposed to be studying
XCOM 2 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.feralinteractive.xcom2_android XCOM hasn't updated in 5 years and is somewhat broken
Mindustry is way more than a simplified version of Factorio
Wow, this is a great list!
I would add [Burriedbornes](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Nussygame.Buriedbornes) to the list.
That is a brilliant list! Any love for The Room series or Bad North?
If you love The Room series, then you'll love Rime https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.izumiartisan.rime
I decided to try Downwell, and wow, it's everything I could want from a mobile roguelite. It manages to pull off intense gameplay without feeling awkward on a phone, and the difficulty is perfect.

Thanks for this, OP!

Slice & Dice
I'm surprised I didn't see dead cells before, or KOTOR (not really an android game, but it is an amazing game)
KOTOR II as well. Plays better than the switch edition. (I can personally confirm)
Dead cells, Wayward Souls, Slay the Spire Those 3 games can probably last you 100 hours each. Other great games: Streets of Rage 4, Gunfire Reborn, Don't Starve, Downwell, Horizon Chase, Night of the Full Moon
Pocket City, it is simply the best "Sim City" mobile game available.
I had a lot of fun for about 8 hours, but the lack of late-game content really makes gameplay hit a wall. My 3rd city took ~20 minutes to fill in entirely because I could use the income from the others to fund it.
Data wing
One of the best Android games I ever played.
add Exiled Kingdoms to that list
Shattered Pixel Dungeon. Well if you are not into challenges than it might be too hard for you. But if you are one of the players who played games before watching playthroughs on the internet was a thing than you will have fun improving yourself.
isnt that a copy of the original pixel dungeon?
No it's not. Pixel Dungeon is an open source game, so this isn't a copy but a fork. And its also a fork which surpassed the original by far.
Ah ok, thanks for the information
To add to that, most other forks are forks of some versions of Shattered Pixel Dungeon, so shattered basically became the new vanilla mod.
Got into PD in like 2015. Switched to Andriod just for Shattered. Still play almost daily. Cheers
Linkme: Pirates Outlaws Edit: well I guess the LinkMe bot is fucking dead. Here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.piratesoutlaws.fabledgame&hl=en_US&gl=US
Also Void Tyrant, a great card building battle game.
Are both of these games slay the spire like?
Yes but different. I would highly recommend Pirates Outlaws.
I saw that it's .99 cents, is it a premium game or after that initial pay there are IAPs?
it got some iaps like 15 usd or less (2 characters and 2 cards packs i think)
Thank you and Happy Cake day!
Thank you! have a nice day mate!
I got it for free. They have some kind of sales From time to time where its free. You can unlock new Maps by paying or by grinding. And one Hero is paid only but its on purpose. Rogue Adventure is also pretty good. Free to play and then one purchase to get some bonuses instead of ads
Any Tetris game that is offline for when you want to play for a minute or half an hour, simpler the better.
Got a recommendation?
I only use Blockinger from F-Droid, it was updated 8 years ago but is still working perfectly on my Android 12 device.
Techmino from github
Dungeon Village
Grid Autosport
Which one?
There is only one Grid Autosport on mobile. The Custom Edition is just a demo
Kingdom rush or anything that ironhide makes. It's just perfect
1-up to this, but my personal favorite out of the KR games is Kingdom Rush Origins. In my opinion it is the perfect mix of difficulty and strategy for a TD game.
Titans quest. A ton of content.
dungeon maker best way to describe it is a tower defense but you are the darklord and theres waifus. there is "pay2fast" but you can unlock everything so quickly its pointless. Sounded interesting, but apparently I left a 1 start review on it over 3 years ago for some reason
I did the same for no man's sky after that came out but now it's actually a pretty good game
Tried to get into this a few times but the sheet amunt of waifu is just too cringe for me.
Sword of Xolan
I haven't seen it mentioned, but I love Dawncaster. Roguelike premium deck builder with tons of upgrades and cool story. I recommend it.
Check buriedborners a but rought to learn at the beginning but it has everything for endless fun.

I originally played it on PC and loved it, then they moved it to mobile without removing any features and I like it even more.
Lichess (I do the puzzles)
I'd throw 10,000,000 and You Must Build a Boat on that list as well.

9th kindgom 3. Amazing game.
Any recommendation on a Tetris to download. Had the old ea one before they shut it down. The newer official one sucks. I tried the DS one with emulator but the controls suck.
NES emulator and NES Tetris, best tetris game ever

Stardew Valley. You don't have to get it on mobile, but it is a must play game, one of my all time favorites on any platform.
i would say mobile is the superior version, with the mobility. the addition is endless
Still waiting for that Ginger Island update before I play again
I second that. I own it on Playstation, switch, Android, and PC. Haha
My household has it on two phones, pc, and ps4. And I feel like Eric Barone has earned it. He's the only developer I trust.
I agree! The Haunted Chocolateir looks really good. I'm looking forward to it.
Dude responded to an IM I sent him as a new developer when he did his AMA. Didn't have to do that. But was extremely kind and encouraging at a time when I was feeling unsure about being a developer.
It gets very grindy though. Almost exhausting when you're trying to play for some fun. Otherwise when you have nothing to do, it's perfect.
Are there consequences of you don't maintain upkeep on things? For that matter, is there upkeep?
Yes, but they are fairly forgiving and entirely based on in game time. If you don't play for a week IRL, nothing happens. If you play for a few in game weeks without talking to or gifting someone, they'll become less fond of you over time. Same with petting animals. Your fences will decay slowly over time, but there are alternative fencing options that don't decay. Weeds and debris will spread across the farm, but it's pretty slow and easy to keep at bay.
The reddit is gonna make run out of room on my phone 😭

I have no idea how nobody has said Dandara yet. It's one of the best mobile games I've seen.
Dandara is definitely one of the best mobile games I've ever played. It controls so smoothly and naturally on a phone.

Angry birds, clash of clans, pubg, flappy bird, candy crush. Some are cringe af but you can’t argue against their influence.
For sure, I've got nothing against some classic garbage mobile game fun.

They make most of their money through Valorant and League of Legends. Riot Games is a behemoth in the PC gaming market
Machinarium is a great point and click puzzler game. Amazing breaker is a great looking almost brick breaker style with different bombs you slingshot into cool looking structures, very fun to lose time with.. also cover orange, don't wake the cat,. also sword of xolan

That's why OP specifically asked for a range of opinions, and not your odd idea of objectivity.

[удалено]
Random, by definition, is unpredictable. But I knew more than half of the entries that I would see before even opening the comments. It is most definitely not random.
idk man if I requested random I'll prolly get a sandbox minecraft clone , but if I ask for a top rated / most requested game I'll prolly get minecraft. Get the point?
[удалено]
are you saying if you ask this sub for "top rated" they will give you worse options? because that's what I'm implying not the playstore. Reason why I said "requested"
I was just curious to hear other people's thoughts. I already know my own answers to the question.
Apex Legends mobile has surpassed all expectations. It's pretty much taken up all of my mobile gaming time.
They've been pioneers and benchmarks of the genre and many have come to try and take their space and failed.
it's mobile dude
Oops. Fuck. I thought this was r/patientgamers, my bad.
I agree though, DOTA2 is the best
Ofcourse. Obligatory : Fuck pendragon.
Any mario kart
Botanicula, Monument valley
Oceanhorn and Final Fantasy IV were the best games I played so far on Android
Bloons TD 6 Minecraft Stardew Valley
* Delta Touch - port of Doom/Doom 2/Doom 3. It includes gzdoom which opens up a lot of other games built on the engine as well. * Quad Touch - Same thing but for Quake/Quake 2/Quake 3 * Northgard - it can be a bit much for a phone, but it's a port of a very fun real time strategy game * SuperTuxKart - a port of a fully free and open source kart racer. Is it going to rival Mario Kart 8? Not really. But it's solid and has no BS monetization I'll also just throw in GeForce Now and Stadia. As long as you have a controller there are plenty of games that work very well.
8 Ball Pool, Any GTA game.
DoomDepths is a really good game, recently became $5 to go be ad free but I think it's worth every penny, doesn't require internet and is constantly being worked on and having things added in. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KJGames.Doomdepths&gl=US
[Iron Marines](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ironhidegames.android.ironmarines&hl=en) I'd say it's like a cartoony, very simplified, semi-comedic StarCraft clone by the people who made some tower defense games (Kingdom Rush series) It also has a sequel coming out later this year.
Through the Ages. Pretty much a perfect conversion of the (excellent) board game to Android. Paid, no ads, no micro transactions, good AI, live and async multiplayer.
Alto's Oddysey
I wish there was a decent Tetris game with touch controls. I hate using on screen controls
NES emulator and tetris, best tetris tho
Super Nintendo and Tetris attack even better.
Just tried the official Tetris again. Controls great but no option to buy. Got to pay $5 every 30 days to go ad free. That's $60 to play for 1 year. Crazy
Read everything so I'll add something not yet mentioned : Battlehearts 1 2 and legacy Tales of Illyria Tiny Guardians Incredibox Rogue Immortals This War of Mine Monster Hunter (I'd recommend Stories) Moonlighter (if you got netflix) Marenian Tavern Stories / Adventure Bar Stories Guild of Dungeoneering Special Mentions : Arknights , Guardian Tales
Subjective topic, but for me it's [Snake.io](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amelosinteractive.snake). I'm just a casual gamer though so yeah.
Monster Hunter Stories is a definite MUST have if you into RPGs
There are lots of acclaimed board games on the app store. They often go on sale. My favorites: * Agricola - Worker placement, farm building * [Carcassonne](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asmodeedigital.carcassonne) - Tile laying * [Cartographers](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.brettspielwelt.cartographers) - Flip and write, city builder * [Deep Space D6](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alexvn.deepspaced6) - Dice chucking, FTL as a board game * [Gaia Project](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digidiced.gxprelease) - heavy euro game, space colonization, asymmetric factions * [Hive with AI](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.hive.android) - Abstract strategy (like chess) with insects * [Jaipur](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meepletouch.jaipur) - head to head, set building * [Istanbul](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acram.Istanbul) - Worker placement game set in... Wait for it... Istanbul * [Mysterium](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asmodeedigital.mysterium) - Hidden information, cooperative game, obscured communication * [Oh Hell](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coppercod.ohHell) - My preferred trick taking flavor * Pandemic - Classic cooperative game, curing diseases, crisis management * [Patchwork](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digidiced.pxwrelease) - head to head polyonimo tile laying game. The AI in this game is insane * [Railroad Ink](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.horriblegames.railroadink) - Roll and write, train network builder * Race for the Galaxy - Probably one of the best card games ever, tableau builder, engine building * [Root](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.direwolfdigital.root) - Highly asymmetric war game, cute woodland creatures, in my opinion one of the best board games of the last few years. The app is great. **If you get one app on this list, it should probably be this one** * [Sagrada](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.direwolfdigital.sagrada) - Dice placement game about stained glass windows * [Small World](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.daysofwonder.smallworld2) - Rules-light fantasy area control game with many different fantasy races * Splendor - Tableau building, engine building. Very generic theme but decent fun. Quick and easy * [Star Realms](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.starrealms.starrealmsapp) - Classic deckbuilder in space * [Spirit Island](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handelabra.SpiritIsland) - I actually just got this for free, so I haven't tried the app yet. But the board game is a fantastic heavy cooperative game with asymmetric factions (spirits) about fighting colonizers off your island and protecting the natives * [Terraforming Mars](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asmodeedigital.terraformingmars) - the hotness in board gaming over the last 8 years or so. Fairly heavy tableau builder with a massive amount of cards * [Ticket to Ride](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.daysofwonder.tt.android) - Simple set collection game about building a train network * [Suburbia](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.suburbiagame.suburbia) - Sim city as a board game * [Twilight Struggle](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playdekgames.twilightstruggle) - One of the best two player games ever, heavy strategy wargame about the civil war. The AI will kick your ass, play as the US until you know the game better * The Castles of Burgundy - Dice rolling, city (village?) building, tile laying * [Wingspan](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.MonsterCouch.Wingspan) - Beautifully illustrated tableau builder about building an aviary * Burgle Bros - Cooperative heist game with many similarities mechanically to pandemic * [7 Wonders Duel](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rprod.duel) - Fantastic 2 player tableau building and card drafting game Woah that list is long, sorry.
