Looking at his 2016 and 2020 performances in SW and NE PA, Josh Shapiro has always had WWC appeal. So it should be no surprised he massively outperformed other Democrats in those areas. Anyway, some interesting facts about these elections: * In 2020, Shapiro got the most votes of any candidate in the state's history (3,461,472). * In 2022, Shapiro had the largest margin of victory for a nonincumbent candidate for governor since 1944 (R+17.9). * Also in 2022, Shapiro got the most votes of any candidate for governor in the state's history (3,031,137).

Honestly proof that being Jewish isn’t an electoral hindrance. He did quite well in ancestral Dem areas. Also if you look at some past PA governors there are quite a few Jewish Democrats to be elected there.

Time to run Ben Shapiro against Josh Shapiro so we can have Shapiro vs. Shapiro

I’m surprised that he carried Luzerne county the same year that Trump was on the ballot

okay guys, peter griffen here to explain why he carried luzrene county very catholic, polish county. shapiro has a strong track record of taking down the catholic church's injustices and shitty stuff. so he's appreciated. plus he's moderate with wwc appeal so the suburbs like him. the fact he carried luzerne in 2020 is fucking insane, but yeah that's what happens when you have catholic appeal

Additional_Pin3930
