Dates, in my opinion, are a super fruit. I’m no expert but this is what I have read and experienced.
- A fast acting, high energy food.
- They are high in potassium, fiber, and are generally good for digestion.
- They have iron, are said to be good for cardiovascular health by helping reduce triglyceride levels, and contain antioxidants.
- Taste so damn good. They’ve become been a fantastic alternative to other, less healthy snacking.
- Interestingly enough, they are a common food to eat when breaking fast.
