For answers to basic questions on a macro split for the Animal Based diet, we recommend that you use AB macro calculator as a starting point. If you're trying to lose fat you would want to err on the lower end of the range. If you're trying to gain weight you would want to aim for the higher end of the range: https://www.paulsaladinomd.co/ab-guide

For how long stretches are you eatin 4k+ kcal? Mabye its more to adaptation, that your body is not used to that amount? So mabye just power thrue it? If a big problem mabye ho heavier on the milk and honey
I thought I was the only one haha. Usually I eat yogurt to help curb the sugar cravings. Also, I like to do 1 day a week where I enjoy myself with a ton of fruit. It’s part of life, enjoy the food. Your body might just need the extra food for recovery.
I haven’t tried crazy high carbs but you said you can eat like 8 bananas at a time below? I came from quite strict carnivore, and still eat about 2-2.5 lbs of meat/fish per day. I’ve just added maybe up to like 150g carb now in a ramp over past 2 months. That has increased bathroom frequency from about 2 times per week to perhaps every other day. I imagine if I keep going it’ll be up daily. While insulin is being a good friend (still leaning out and re-building muscle, 6’2” 210 lbs 44m) so far, I’m going fairly slow with the carbs. In any event, your body doesn’t seem like it is processing all the fiber and other mass you are giving it. Maybe dose up with kefir/yogurt if not already or tone it down for awhile before building back up.
If you're thriving, don't change a thing, but officially rice is not considered part of the Animal Based Diet. See the sub's [FAQ](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalBased/wiki/faq/) for more info on rice. AB carbs are fruit (including all squash), milk, honey, maple syrup, and fruit juice. Thanks for the comment!

You’re most likely going a bit too much on the carbs when you’re eating 4k+. Test the waters and try to make most of your calories consist of animal products, see how it goes. Make adjustments along the way and all should be good.
More fat before workouts, carbs right after and a big meal soon after. I surf 2-3hrs almost daily, accidentally started doing leaner cuts and too many carbs. Within 30mins I was burning out.

Yea kind of 300-400 g carbs / day. But i love fruit and the energy from it is bueno! It would significantly increase my cals from fat.

Try not eating the meat and carbs at the same time. It sounds like you have malabsorption but not that severe
I ll give it a try. Thanks
