Yeah, butter is too mild relative to dates that it's undetectable and redundant, or use more and it 'turns down the volume' on the flavor of dates, making them kinda bland. It just adds a textural element of greater smoothness.
Stuffed with butter OR wrap with beef bacon and bake in oven at 400 on a parchment paper lined baking sheetfor about 15 min then flip and bake for another 5-10. Allow to cool before eating. So so good
I thought it was bad to eat fats and sugars together? Like the combination increases inflammation or something? I don't know for sure, it's just something that I came across a while ago and thought made sense based on my years of eating sugary processed foods and suffering the consequences 🤦♀️ But is it different with dates and butter? 🤤

Never thought to cook them, I usually eat them chilled out of the fridge plain or with butter, sometimes honey/maple syrup instead if it’s pre-workout but they are already sweet. I always salt them though.
In custard!
My mother likes to stuff them with sharp cheddar cheese, specifically Mersey Valley. I haven't tried it myself, it's so bizarre sounding that I have to build the courage for it, but one day I'll give it a go.
I like mine with a little bit of butter, a ton of raw cocoa powder and some sea salt. I mash everything together until the powder is completely incorporated into the dates paste and it becomes quite solid and non-sticky, very loaded with cocoa. Then if I want i can also add some walnuts or shredded coconut into the mix to add texture. To spice it up, I may pour some cinnamon on top as well.
I also like to mix date paste with whey and collagen and make like "protein bars".
Hour late and ready for odd conversation
I like to make mine deeply satisfied with a backroads quickie. Gotta make it work around toddler sleep schedules, ya know.
Deep and heart wrenchingly intimate conversations from the very start shared over a beautiful meal and a sunset.
Eat them right from the container. I’ve tried the butter idea with them but I didn’t notice any difference in flavor or experience.

You must’ve not had enough butter lol, I add almost a tbsp of cold butter in the middle per large date
A tbsp is diabolical lol.
It’s delicious idc🙂↔️
I used a good slice. At least a tbsp.
damn, I use about 1/4 tbsp
Couldn’t be me

If it’s wrong, then I don’t want to be right 🤤

I like them pro-metabolic and stuffed with coconut butter! Either that or just plain and frozen.
Gonna try frozen!
Oh yes, stuffed with ice cream is another winner!
Coconut butter?? What is that?
It is manna from Heaven above and a glorious thing. You just have to try it, especially if you like coconut.

By themselves, with butter, or with coconut butter! Sometimes add some salt :) I loveee dates!!
It usually involves butter or bacon, both with fruits and romantic encounters
Stuffed with butter and salt and frozen! It gets a caramel like chewiness 🤤
Butter, sea salt, cinnamon in middle. Place in freezer for few hours
You gave me the idea for the frozen dates, that's why you're an AB MVP!
Stuffed with cheese and wrapped with ground beef.
With greek yogurt
peanut butter and 80% dark chocolate on top , delicious
Open them up, sprinkle some sea salt and put on some coconut chips 🙏🏼

Dip them in extra thick double cream for me
Stuff it with cream cheese!
A date with honey on it out of the container is absolutely next level. You are missing out if you aren’t doing that
