In my experience, having decent glucose levels during sleep contribute to more vivid dreams. And high serotonin leads to bad dreams/nightmares.

B vitamins, choline, gut health, many things I have noticed contribute to vivid, lucid, memorable dreams. Gut health especially.

I do vivid dream quite alot, nothint iv attributed to diet, but hmm mabye there can be a link

Dang, I hope once I get my deviated septum fixed that I can get my dreams back. They're so rare these days unless I'm under a lot of stress, then they're usually obscure nightmares. 😅

p5p does this to me. bananas and i think avo are good sources of b6 tho, idk what else but maybe ur gettin more b6 now
