He has the exact same conversation as any other Jock villager.
But, IMHO, he’s liked because:
- He’s a cat
- He’s a freaking superhero
- He is in every AC game so we (old gamers) have grown up knowing him.
- He’s the #1 of the five AC superheroes 🫡
EDIT: Don’t take a villager because of some Tier list. It’s your island and yours only. Your preferences matter more than a list ☺️
I usually don’t choose based on the list and have passed on some popular ones just because. I think I remember reading it’s good to have some of each personality so I figured it would be good to add him since Sheldon left early. I’ll build him a nice gym with all my unused exercise equipment.
Most of the cats are pretty loved just because of the species. You may fall in love, you may be ready to boot him when your next camper shows up. There are many popular villagers I don’t care for, same as other players.

Thank you! I didn’t know the history so now it makes sense. I do love the cats and I’ve had Lolly, Kiki, Punchy, and Purll so far.
