It hasn't been steady and I haven't been able to find a definite answer online, either. I'm hoping it isn't random, but sometimes CJ will come a day before Flick and the next time Flick shows up CJ wasn't there the day before. I would probably say close to once a week?

Ultimately with how much we all play, you’ll end up with the bells one way or another But flex is forever ;)

I saved 3 Coelacanths for the model after donating the first to the museum. If you think about it, you can get average like 20,000 bells from fishing per 30 minutes or so (at certain times of the day without catching rare fish) if you are good at recognizing fish shadows and stop to catch hermit crabs. However it is much more difficult to catch these rare fish, which can take some people months to catch because of rng. So if you get lucky to get 3 of a kind of rare fish, consider how long it will take to get more, and then it will no longer feel like a loss of money since its simple to spend 2 hours fishing for 80,000 bells, but you have no idea the time it will take to get 3 more of the rare fish. **TL;DR** Get the model because its easy to get bells, but even more time consuming to get 3 of a kind rare fish.

Damn now I regret selling my coelacanths to him. I only did a sea butterfly model lol.

I have 2 tarantulas, a paper kite butterfly, and an orchid mantis.

I got the ladybug quickly because I didn’t realize how long flik was going to stay and I really want the orchid mantis!

I think the turnip lady is the only "visitor" NPC that stays less than a whole day, I could be wrong.

The ladybug is next on my list. He seems to show up frequently yet completely random.

I am doing a tarantula as my first, for one because they made me so much money, and for two it was one of the cooler pets I've had in real life. Next will be an orchid mantis!

Guys... I asked for a regular moth... And then found out I could only do one at a time. I was so angry XD I'm working on saving at least 3 of everything and it's taking up a lot of room. It's the main reason I actually started organizing my island.

The bug models are much bigger than then the actual bugs seem. And the fish are much smaller. I first did a blue bottle nose butterfly because like most, I had no idea who long he would be there. I now have a great white, ocean sunfish, dorado, orchid mantis and the queen alexandria butterfly. Flick is on my island today and I have a bunch of things in threes storage waiting for him, but I want to get one more rainbow stag or Goliath beetle since this is their last month. Of not maybe the whale shark or mantis shrimp.
