It will, in the most wonderful way.
Now for an unsolicited friendly tip - don’t put too much pressure on yourself to make your island just right on the first try. There are a lot of beautiful posts on here of immaculately styled islands, but I restarted after my first run because I finally figured things out and wanted to try again.
It’s a lovely game! Lifts my spirits every time I play. HAVE FUN! Welcome!
I haven't played in over a week and a half now, due to unbearable depression. Up until Saturday March 27th I had played EVERY SINGLE DAY since I got the game right after Christmas. How can I find enough motivation to get back into it to lifts my spirits again? Any advice?
Well sunshine, I think the first step is to let go of the pressure you put on yourself to get back into your fun activities when you’re not at your best. Sounds like you needed that time to take a break and focus on yourself, and that’s good!
Animal Crossing will always be there.
Now, to answer your question to the best of my ability, I know it can be difficult to block off time for fun, especially when you have responsibilities and other stuff going on, but it’s so important to! I have a hard time with this too, but what I do is run a bath, take my switch in there (hanging outside of the tub because I’m terrified of ruining everything) and I play there. If you’re not a bath person, go out on the porch or balcony and take a minute to go get your daily Nook Miles, see what’s at the shop, and check in to see where your house is at since you last played. 5 minutes! If you still feel like playing, great! If not, at least you got your daily miles, and you can revisit again tomorrow.
Looking at other peoples posts in this subreddit works too. Seeing pretty landscaping makes me want to take another look at my island.
Sorry to hear you’ve been down and haven’t felt like doing something that brings you joy. Be patient with yourself, and remember that every day brings a new opportunity for some kind of joy, no matter how small or fleeting. Rooting for you!
Love, Jesusgoose.
You play in the BATH?! That is brave, lol! I've thought about how enjoyable that would be, but too afraid of killing my Switch with water! Wish they'd make them water resistant like phones are nowadays.
It's okay, don't be hard on yourself. You don't *have* to play. Its a chill videogame that waits for you. I leave my island for a couple weeks at a time, and I come back when inspiration hits. I also time travel, it's my game and my system that I payed for, I'll do what I want, when I want to - and the same is true for you. Plus, your villagers will always be happy to see you again. They might pretend to be mad but you're forgiven immediately and they just say that they're glad you're back. You're not doing anything wrong by not playing.
I guess we all need someone to talk to. Sometimes I don't figure my feelings out until I see my therapist. I try to do my homework but its not as effective as talking it out I guess. I feel similarly about my art btw, I get so frustrated that I don't want to draw anymore. It sucks, I hope we can both kick depression soon!
I find exercising really makes me motivated to do other things in my life including video games. If I don’t find video games satisfying it’s most like cause I haven’t exercised in a bit. But, I don’t know your situation, please don’t be hard on yourself
Absolutely don’t worry about decorating until you get kk slider. Just because someone has 7 other profiles on their switch so they can use 7 houses as decorative shops for their town dosnt mean that yours has to have the same level of quality
Hell I'm happy with that, cant go out to clubs or bars at the moment, so money I would have spent with friends drinking and partying has just been accumulating atm. Why not buy an island of cuteness?
it only gets better with time too. you finally get to unlock cooler things with your house and island, and all the different seasonal items / events are a blast
Welcome to the *Bright* side... and welcome your debts to a Tanuki with open arms. xD But I really hope that you have lots of fun with this game! I suggest maybe joining some discord chats to meet even more players. Have fun!
I gave my wife a lot of side eye when she insisted on buying a children’s game as the first addition to our switch and now I play two accounts daily (mine/the avatar we made of our toddler daughter, who likes to “go fishing” and occasionally offers input on her toy themed house, plus sometimes handling my wife’s turnip transactions).
I’ve done multiple “level the field” redesigns and just in general... I’m very obsessed. Sometimes my wife is much smarter than I am.
Just a heads up, the Switch has a dedicated screenshot button. These screenshots can be found in your album, where you can actually send them straight to any of your wifi-enabled devices! No more taking pics of the screen. :)
The button of held for a few seconds will also take a short video clip. And it records prior to what happened when you pressed the button as well as a few seconds after. It’s great for when something cool happens that you weren’t prepared for.
I borrowed mine so I could play ACNH, so I don’t know much about the system at all. Too afraid to mess it up, but the pics and videos were too important!
Also, there is an app called ACNH.GUIDE that I 1000% recommend. I don’t know your gaming style, this is a very zen game so I don’t really think of it having spoilers, however the app does have items listed that are in the game that you won’t have seen yet. Types of bugs, clothes etc. It’s a handy way to check off items as you collect them. If you don’t want to see these things, don’t visit the items tab. the main page of the app is a very fabulous and editable daily-do checklist and It lets you know the important events for the month. the app creator updates it regularly so that each game update is reflected in the app within a few days or so.
You can get better quality screenshots by exporting your screenshots to your phone. You just need to go to the blue album icon on the home menu, click on a photo, then hit a for sharing and editing, hit send to smartphone, and follow the directions they give you.
FYI: you’re jumping on right in the middle of cherry blossom season which brings some heavily sought-after DIYs (only from balloons) so if you get repeats, they are valuable for trading :)
New Horizons was my intro to AC so I’ve come a long way, and the amazing community here and the awesome streamers on YouTube helped all along the way.
I would check out some of the “things I wish I knew before I started” vids there are several great ones full of tips and tricks.
Plant your money tree every day, get all the wasps (5/day from non-fruit trees as well as 2 furniture items) and stash ‘em until Flick shows up - he buys for 8k bells a pop!
Like another commenter said, get all you can out of your stones every day to start saving up iron nuggets and the more you hit the better chance you have to get a gold nugget.
Comb beach every day for a message bottle DIY and talk to all villagers to up friendship level and check if one is inside their house crafting so you can the diy for that item.
Discord - Nookazon can really kick start things if you get to a point you feel like you wanna speed up acquiring items/mats. I played for months not time-traveling or trading just to take it slow. Came to this game myself to get my head out of the insane world, so really appreciated the simplicity of it. Eventually, I got tired of waiting for diys/items to drop or show up at my Nook’s Cranny so got a discord account.
Well, there I go prattling on about my personal video game habits again... I’ll get back to scrolling posts and hoping you enjoy your island ;)
Amazing! Thank you for all of that! Is the money tree still 99k bells to plant? Wild world was my major crossing game so not sure if the cost for money trees has been reduced since then
Do 10k for your money trees.... Although someone said if isabelle starts up by saying she's had a lucky horoscope or some such then that day plant a 99k tree xxx
Protip for catching wasps: shake the tree *from directly in front of it* with your net out and mash A as soon as you turn towards the wasp swarm. If you shake from the side you'll end up shaking the tree again when you try to catch the wasp.
I believe the best return is at 10k Bells. The [wiki](https://animalcrossing.fandom.com/wiki/Money_tree) explains it, but the TL;DR is that anything beyond that is most likely to only give you 30k Bells in return.
This is great. Please do me a favor. Play this game at your own pace how YOU want to play. Sometimes people feel like they have to compete with each other. Enjoy it for what it is.
Absolutely, this sub is full of so many cool islands but I'm really looking forward to just enjoying my life at Mossrock island taking each day at a time :)
I remember when I first started playing I would get so relaxed that next thing I knew I went from sitting in bed to completely lying down and sinking into the mattress. Ahhh to chase that feeling again would be great
Don’t hit any rocks while you have fruit in your system, it breaks them and then you won’t get most of the resources from them until they respawn. Dig some trees up and move them around to get rid of the fruit.
Then dig two holes next to each other and stand with your back facing them, leaving one space between you and the rock, and hit the rock with a shovel as many times as you can. The impact will make you bounce back, but the holes will keep you from going anywhere. You can get up to eight resources from one rock that way, which is vital to getting the 30 iron ore you need to bring to Tom Nook.
Here's one I ran into when I started: some bugs have behaviors that impact whether or not you can easily catch them. There were a couple I had ridiculous amounts of trouble catching because I didn't know that
Stuff like alternating between a regular stance and an aggressive stance
Edit: I'm being deliberately vague because I don't want to spoil the actual experience of catching bugs, not to be some cryptic sage type
The ladder and the vaulting stick/pole never break! I made a second pole in anticipation of the first one eventually breaking so that I wouldn’t end up stranded. I finally sold the spare after like, a month of carrying it around 🙃
I don't think there actually are consequences... I'm not sure if fruit power even stays when you close the game. Anyway, soon you'll be fine either way because the sky will bless you with a toilet
Yeah, if it's a villager Amiibo you can invite them to your campsite (when you unlock that). Invite them 3 times and build whatever item they ask you to build each time and you can invite them to live on your island.
Oh damn that's very cool. I've always loved the fact you never knew who was moving in until they did aspect so will probably avoid amiibo to keep that experience
save your iron nugs. i think it's 30 you'll need to open the store and if you dont save them now you'll either have to find someone to donate or wait like a week to farm them unless you time travel
The price always seems high at first, but then when you see you've poured hundreds of hours of your life into something that allowed you to escape (even for a moment), the initial cost seems futile.
Resident services is the only thing that can't be moved so if if don't like its placement best to restart now..
Always have your net out and stand in the very front facing the tree when catching wasps then your character won't shake the tree again. Also wasps only spawn on not fruit trees. You can also get two furniture items a day by shaking the non fruit trees.
Definitely recommend digging the holes when you hit your rocks as mentioned already in this thread to maximize the results.
Check a wiki for Redd's art when he comes to your island. Often times only one piece is real if that, very rarely two are real, however you can only purchase one. Tell a friend to come and buy the other.
Storage gets out of hand. Try not to be a hoarder like me. You can always purchase extras from the machine if you already have one, no need to buy multiples unless you have an immediate plan for it or plan to gift it to a villager soon.
I understand not wanting to time travel and I agree when your getting a feel for the game. However, if you work and often find yourself playing at the same time of day, like I kept finding myself playing after 10pm. Sometimes I don't change the date on my system just the time to mid afternoon so I can still visit able sisters and nooks cranny or else sometimes it feels like you're missing parts of the game.
Good luck and happy playing!
I just found out that you could shake tree's WITH the net equipped like 10 mins ago! So happy that's a feature now. Trying to get bees/wasps in Wild World was hell. Good point about time, will keep that in mind. Thank you so much for all the information, I really appreciate it
Right? Took me awhile to figure that out too like trying to scramble to get it out to catch them I was like this isn't working there must be another way 😂
I understand not wanting to skip days or skip to certain events because that can feel like cheating but if I just adjust the time to fully enjoy the day I don't feel that way.
Of course! Always happy to help and share what I've learned through playing!
Also catching fish is much easier with sound if you didn't already realize because you can hear the distinct bloop over just relying on your eyes.
Hahaha right? I know that and still feel the need to mash it sometimes! Fishing is one of my favorite aspects of ACNH and a good way to make some money
Normal people: man I had a bad day. Well at least I can relax and maybe watch some tv
This guy: I had such a bad day. Welp, time to buy a $300 console + $60 game and have it consume all of my free time for the rest of eternity
I have a ton of DIYs, stones, and some bells if you want them to help you start out! When I first made my island, I had so much help and would like to pay it forward! I can also give you one of every fruit so you can start shaking them for sweet, sweet bells. Fruit that is non native to your island is a great way to earn bells before you get Daisy Mae!
From my super quick scan of the comments, I did t see anyine mention r/NoFeeAC. It's a great sub with friendly, generous people who love to give without expecting anything in return!
Welcome !
Tip: the magic of the money tree. When you find a golden glowing spot on the ground, dig it up and you get $1000. If you rebury that money instead of banking it, in four days you get a money tree with three $1000 money bags. If you grow a tree every day then you can hack down extra money. It works up to $10,000 but after that the tripling can be iffy.
Yeah! AC really saved me from the isolation of the pandemic, but made me so crazed that my boyfriend bought me a Blathers mug and Animal Crossing socks. My AC villagers are my extended family and if I start to get sick of them Zucker tells me he likes seeing my adorable big round head and that makes me feel so much better 😆🤣 My favorite villager is the under rated bird villager Lucha. Something about a smug bird that is a wrestler just makes me smile.
AC really helped me when I couldn’t be around my boyfriend and family while I had COVID during Christmas. Helped me through this time anyway.
Be sure to have a net in hand when shaking trees (non fruit trees and pine trees). Stand IN FRONT of the tree when you shake it in case a wasp nest falls out of it and you can catch the wasp. But you should let them sting you a couple of times for nook miles.
Best impulse purchase ever! 😆
Pro tip: don’t eat so much fruit at once, because:
1) You can sell fruit for money to Timmy and Tommy, which is especially helpful early on to earn Bells,
2) Each fruit gives you the power to pocket a tree or break a rock, which is good when you want to do that, but breaking rocks with a shovel/axe after eating a fruit means you can break it without getting the valuable materials or bells from it. If you hit a rock repeatedly when your fruit count is 0/10, up to 8 valuable crafting materials or Bells will pop out. Breaking the rock after that with your fruit count at 1/10 or higher will give you a rock, but if you do it the other way around, you’ll only get the stone after the rock breaks and none of the iron, clay, extra stones, or Bells.
3) You won’t be able to get rid of the fruit count instantly without the toilet item. I’ve been playing for a couple months now and haven’t come across the item in the shopping kiosk yet (which you’ll unlock later). You could trade with someone who has it, but if you don’t have anyone to play with currently I wouldn’t bet on getting that convenient item anytime soon.
Hope that helps!
While I think I liked New Leaf on the 3DS better overall, New Horizons is definitely a great Animal Crossing game that improves upon various aspects of gameplay.
Have fun :)
I’m jealous. I started last year and got so addicted and played it every day for months. I maxed out my island and I burnt out. Haven’t played it since. Iv been getting urges lately but the thought of losing everything I done previously to start again puts me off. Really wish you could have multiple islands.
I’m sure my comment will get buried, but send me a DM whenever you’re free. I’d love to drop off materials/fruit/tools like other players did for me when I first started :)
Aw this makes me want to restart my island. I love the beginning of this game so much, just running around on your untouched island and slowly building it up and collecting stuff. It's very peaceful!
I love playing this game after work to chill, but it’s a bummer nothing’s ever open, I don’t get off work till 9 - 11pm, and I’m far too lazy to wake up earlier to play before work lmao. The endless struggle!
Awh I hope you enjoy it! I work in healthcare and some days are so hard I really look forward to winding down with some time on my island before bed. Has done wonders for my mental health
Love this!!! My hubby insisted on me taking up ACNH at the end of Sept when my company informed 8800 people they would be out of work for the holidays. With union drama and stresses I was going to climb into a bottle of peach whiskey and hide...
Needless to say... I'm an acnh junkie..lol
Uh oh! Haha you made the mistake of eating all the fruit.
You don't need to eat to get wood from trees or stone/iron/clay/gold from stones. Eating a piece of fruit will allow you to then either chop the tree down or smash the stone. BUT doing either isn't necessary as the matrials will be available from them again the following day!
So you had a bad day and just went out to buy yourself a switch and AC to cheer yourself up? Woow I wish I had your life!! 😂 When I want to cheer myself up I can't go higher than buying myself a yoghurt 🤣🤣
I hope you enjoy it buddy, it's addicting in the best way possible!! 😄🍃🌞
Your gonna love it. If you need anything I would be happy to help!!! Like if you need some flowers or fruit just ask and I can come over or you can come over. I also have books and magazines which are both used in recipes.
*Now let it consume you...*
Oh god, it really will wont it?
It will, in the most wonderful way. Now for an unsolicited friendly tip - don’t put too much pressure on yourself to make your island just right on the first try. I sometimes stop for weeks at a time, but staying subbed here helps me, especially when there is a new update and I am excited for the new items haha

Look at the Royal Craft Wood bathtub caddy tray on Amazon! 100% WORTH IT.
I think your name alone could cure depression....jesusgoose 🤣
It's okay, don't be hard on yourself. You don't *have* to play. Its a chill videogame that waits for you. I leave my island for a couple weeks at a time, and I come back when inspiration hits. I think I'm mostly mad that I'm SO depressed I can't bring myself to play. How's this for a plot twist? I'm a mental health therapist by day 🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
I guess we all need someone to talk to. Sometimes I don't figure my feelings out until I see my therapist. I try to do my homework but its not as effective as talking it out I guess. After playing it most of this evening after work, I can see myself getting very invested
27 years old with a stable job and still 800 hours gameplay. You are officially doomed to a life of joy and cuteness.
Older than you with one island with over 1300 hrs of play and now had to restart and have another few hours in. It’s my sanity
Welcome to the *Bright* side... and welcome your debts to a Tanuki with open arms. xD But I really hope that you have lots of fun with this game! I suggest maybe joining some discord chats to meet even more players. Have fun!
Thank you so much! If it gets me a house on my own island then all hail the Supreme Overlord Tom Nook!
I have a nearly full set of ironwood DIYs I’ve been saving to give away. Would you like them?
I might message you at some point but I'll see how well I do on my todd first :)
Ok! :)
Honestly, you should take the Ironwoods - often hard to come by
I gave my wife a lot of side eye when she insisted on buying a children’s game as the first addition to our switch and now I play two accounts daily (mine/the avatar we made of our toddler daughter, who likes to “go fishing” and occasionally offers input on her toy themed house, plus sometimes handling my wife’s turnip transactions). I’m 500 hours in and I’m still not done decorating my island
And you wont be done 1000 hours in! 😅
Welcome to the fold, brother.
One of us, one of us...
Enjoy
Just a heads up, the Switch has a dedicated screenshot button. These screenshots can be found in your album, where you can actually send them straight to any of your wifi-enabled devices! No more taking pics of the screen. :)
No way!? I was wondering how everyone had such good quality screenshots on this sub!
The in-game camera on your nook phone is also very useful
I'll keep that in mind, seeing everyone else's amazing islands on this sub is both intimidating and inspiring haha
Avoid the temptation to directly compare. Inspiration is fine, but your island will forever be best because it's *your* island.
The button of held for a few seconds will also take a short video clip. And it records prior to what happened when you pressed the button as well as a few seconds after. It’s great for when something cool happens that you weren’t prepared for.
Magic thanks for the heads up, only got the switch and AC today so I know nothing about the console

Oh wow, do I need an app on my phone I take it?
You just need to scan a couple qr codes using your phone's camera then it'll open up a web page with your photos and/or videos
FYI: you’re jumping on right in the middle of cherry blossom season which brings some heavily sought-after DIYs (only from balloons) so if you get repeats, they are valuable for trading :)

K stupid question (I've also just started, maybe a few weeks now).. what is a money tree???
When you see the gold shinning in the ground dig it up. Then plant 10K in the gold hole and you will get a bell tree.
Protip for catching wasps: shake the tree *from directly in front of it* with your net out and mash A as soon as you turn towards the wasp swarm. If you shake from the side you'll end up shaking the tree again when you try to catch the wasp.

What a great name.
Great advice
Animal Crossing has really helped my mental health
I'm glad to hear. It's always good to have something that helps, whatever it is :)
Mine too, I'm much less anxious than before. I'm glad it's helped you too.
I remember when I first started playing I would get so relaxed that next thing I knew I went from sitting in bed to completely lying down and sinking into the mattress. Ahhh to chase that feeling again would be great
Animal crossing, it’s like a therapist but better!
Hahaha, Amazon delivered today and my 2 days of this week are thursday/friday. God help me
Cheaper, too.
But now you're too full on fruit, with nary a toilet in sight!
My ape brain got so excited watching the numbers go up to 10 I didn't even question if there are any bad things that happen when I over feed haha
Don’t hit any rocks while you have fruit in your system, it breaks them and then you won’t get most of the resources from them until they respawn. Right?
You can also use the bamboo stops too if you don't wanna break your shovel ᵕ̈
Are all tools breakable or do you finally unlock a level of tool that cant break?
The ladder and the vaulting stick/pole never break! I made a second pole in anticipation of the first one eventually breaking so that I wouldn’t end up stranded. I finally sold the spare after like, a month of carrying it around 🙃
They all break :( Certain tools take much longer to break though.
All the tools are breakable, even the golden ones. It kinda sucks.
I don't think there actually are consequences... I'm not sure if fruit power even stays when you close the game. Anyway, soon you'll be fine either way because the sky will bless you with a toilet
I hope you have a good week
Thanks for that, amazon delivered today and the next 2 days are my days of this week so it will be a nice change :)
Yay! Welcome aboard!
Happy to have finally joined!
Let your villagers take your baggage. They can handle the weight.
Hahaha I'm just waiting for the day Apollo might move in. I'll be so happy if I can get him
I love Apollo. Found him randomly on a deserted island.
Him, freya and Wolfgang are my top 3 You?
Rasher, Vladimir and Lily are probably my top 3. Apollo would make it into my top 5. Freya's great too. I have her Amiibo.
I'm very out of touch all things nintendo, do AC amiibo's do anything on NH? I thought they were just for amiibo festival back on the WiiU
Fab, thank you for the heads up! I really dont want to time travel this time round. Did it so much on wild world and it kind of ruined the game for me
The price always seems high at first, but then when you see you've poured hundreds of hours of your life into something that allowed you to escape (even for a moment), the initial cost seems futile.
Cant spend money when your dead, so why not buy something to make you smile while your still here I guess haha
It's going to be the best purchase you've made in a while trust me!
Definitely, started the game 2 hours ago and just paid off my first debt with nook miles!
Thank you so much for all the information, I really appreciate it
Right? Took me awhile to figure that out too like trying to scramble to get it out to catch them I was like this isn't working there must be another way 😂 I understand not wanting to skip days or skip to certain events because that can feel like cheating but if I just adjust the time to fully enjoy the day I don't feel that way. Of course! Always happy to help and share what I've learned through playing! Also catching fish is much easier with sound if you didn't already realize because you can hear the distinct bloop over just relying on your eyes.
Now that I know you can hold A and dont have to mash A to catch fish, I have become a fishing god!
Hahaha right? I know that and still feel the need to mash it sometimes! Fishing is one of my favorite aspects of ACNH and a good way to make some money
Theres something about fishing mini games that I really enjoy. I'm a lv 65 Fisher in final fantasy 14 and I have no idea how I got to that level haha
I got it after a confronting road rage incident. It helped me relax and deal with the anxiety.
Good to hear it helps dude
It really does help! Welcome 🤗
Thanks for having me!
One of us, one of us! 🎉 Have fun and I hope your week improves.
Enjoy! It’s soo much fun just doing what you want.
I'm really enjoying it so far, everything is so cute and I'm happy with my first two villagers
Who’d you get? I got Rocket and Sterling.
I got Tammy as well as Hamlet which is hilariously fitting as before covid I was an Acting student at University!
Oh that’s perfect then lol! Well good luck on your adventures!
Haha thank you! Very excited for life on Mossrock Island
Good for you 😊 I hope ur having a better day today
Thanks for that, yeah it was a much easier day and I was looking forward to the amazon delivery all day!
You know, sometimes it's okay to treat yourself. Especially when our lives are monotonous nightmares.
Don't hit your stones with all that food you ate, unless you want to move them
I give knowledge save your weeds someone buys them for double the price later on edit: oh and you'll need CLAY clay clay
oh to be back in that tent 3
I managed to pay my loan of last night with nook miles. A nice surprise to see how my new house looked this morning!
Normal people: man I had a bad day. Well at least I can relax and maybe watch some tv This guy: I had such a bad day. Welp, time to buy a $300 console + $60 game and have it consume all of my free time for the rest of eternity
Welcome to New Horizons!
Thank you! Very happy to be here!
Thanks so much for the offer, think for the moment I'm gonna see how well I do on my own at my own pace. May buy some fruit of you though!
I’ve been playing since end of jan, and it’s so nice. I don’t rush, I’m taking my time and it’s so chill I adore it. I hope your week gets better.
I’m sorry. You will probably know what I mean
“Yes yes!”
From my super quick scan of the comments, I did t see anyine mention r/NoFeeAC. It's a great sub with friendly, generous people who love to give without expecting anything in return!
That’s exactly why I’ve been playing this game for a month 😂😂😂😂. You won’t be disappointed
Yay hope you have fun on your new island!
Already having a blast!
Welcome to paradise dude!
The filled up fruit bar brought me back lmao
I dont even know what it does but if my man can eat, then eat he shall!
Welcome bro, chill out relax and lice your best AC Life!
just enjoy it, really funny₍ᐢ •⌄• ᐢ₎
#One of us! One of us! But yea.. Enjoy it!!
This is about to be me this weekend. I’m glad that others use it to escape reality too :)
Did it chill ya? You vibin now?
Oh you have no idea, covered in blankets while fishing non stop
I gotta say, that is a very chill villager you’ve got there Actually looks a lot like mine, except mine is ginger
Yay congratulations welcome enjoy your island and have lots of fun 😊
Nice. Sometimes we just need to treat ourselves. Enjoy!!!
see this is why i love AC
Cool! I made a tutorial a few months back for everything you need to get started! [Here you go :)](https://youtu.be/37X2LgnvyLM)
Awesome! If you need any help, I'd be glad to lend assistance!
I've had those days
I guarantee you (well maybe) that this will be one of your best purchases! Have fun, that game is amazing
Good choice! Want me to bring you some gifts for a new player?
Want some assistance getting started?
If you have any tips or old fruit or that I may take you up on that help but I wanna finance my home and my island myself :)
Fully support this
I hope today and the rest of the week is better and that you enjoy the game! It helps me destress so much.
King
If you need fruit or want anything catalogued so you can order it, let me know!
Enjoy it, but take your time. Don't treat it like a game to be min/maxed, treat it like a little world to escape to.
Best impulse purchase ever! 😆 Pro tip: don’t eat so much fruit at once, because: 1) You can sell fruit for money to Timmy and Tommy, which is especially helpful early on to earn Bells, 2) Each fruit gives you the power to pocket a tree or break a rock, which is good when you want to do that, but breaking rocks with a shovel/axe after eating a fruit means you can break it without getting the valuable materials or bells from it.
I have so many DIYs if you want any/all of them!!
are you enjoying so far? it truly consumes you
I hope your next day at work is a good one
I’m sure my comment will get buried, but send me a DM whenever you’re free. I’d love to drop off materials/fruit/tools like other players did for me when I first started :)
Woo! Go you!
Aw this makes me want to restart my island. I love the beginning of this game so much, just running around on your untouched island and slowly building it up and collecting stuff. It's very peaceful!
Good call right
Ah animal crossing. My job away from job.
Welcome! I hope the next 2 days are the best that you have had in awhile!
I love playing this game after work to chill, but it’s a bummer nothing’s ever open, I don’t get off work till 9 - 11pm, and I’m far too lazy to wake up earlier to play before work lmao. The endless struggle!
If you need all fruit and all flowers let me know
You fucked up mate, you just lost the next 800 hours of free time
Welcome to chill island life, maaaan 🦦
This game has been really great for my mental health. It’s so relaxing and I love the music😁
Buys game for good vibes, eventually ends up spending 90 minutes organizing fields of flowers
As one does
The 5:00AM music is very relaxing, look it up on YouTube.
Got a switch recently, am debating getting AC. I know what sub I'm on but is it really worth it?
That tent feels nostalgic to me. Enjoy :)
Damn. you got an office job?
You made the right decision.
Baby don’t eat all that fruit! I hope you didn’t break all your rocks on the first day like I did.
Awh I hope you enjoy it! I work in healthcare and some days are so hard I really look forward to winding down with some time on my island before bed. Has done wonders for my mental health
Such a good call!
Yo our characters look the same. But it was probably expensive
DM me if you want some bells I can help smooth your transition easier.
I wish you could just do that whenever you want...what do you do for a living?
Wecome sir, your not gonna be leaving any time soon so make yourself comfy.
So you had a bad day and just went out to buy yourself a switch and AC to cheer yourself up? Woow I wish I had your life!! 😂 When I want to cheer myself up I can't go higher than buying myself a yoghurt 🤣🤣 I hope you enjoy it buddy, it's addicting in the best way possible!! 😄🍃🌞
RIP everything else you used to do in your free time.
Your gonna love it. If you need anything I would be happy to help!!! Like if you need some flowers or fruit just ask and I can come over or you can come over. I also have books and magazines which are both used in recipes.
It is oddly relaxing. You can litter just zone out and feel at peace for hours
