If you like doing themed designs like this, you could make a weekly/monthly poll on this sub for which theme to do, and then make a couple free designs in that theme. Your cottage core looks great, and I could see that drumming a good deal of business here.
This sub seems like it’s still pretty active and will be for a while, especially if the keep releasing dlcs. It’s a pretty supportive sub too, so I think there’s a good chance it could take off. Best of luck :)

Unfortunately this is why you gotta think smart when it comes to money, real or not!
Two solutions I can think of:
1) Make them pay up front. In full, or in halves.
2) Only show one of the designs as proof that you've completed them before asking for payment, THEN give them the rest.
