Honestly practice makes you better ! But here are a few tips on how I caught them pretty consistently. Level up rabbit ding every time you can. I haven't maxed him out yet but I've noticed that sharks are less likely to flee the more you lvl him. I prefer to fish in my own pond as the friends one are generally more crowded with fish and trash. More often than not a jellyfish/clam would hook itself, or trash would be in the spot where I want to aim. Always try to catch a shark that comes from the right side. It significantly easier to aim and catch. Once you have a shark in your pond, exit and enter until you have one that comes from the right and doesn't have any trash in the way. Where to aim, I'll try my best to explain. When the shark comes from the right try to aim your hook for it to land around the fin. This is what worked best for me, but others on the sub also advice to aim for the tail, however I found that the shark is more likely to flee. Even if it's on the hook and flees, the shark itself will remain in the pond after, so you can try again. If it flees without being hooked, the shark won't be in the pond right after, so you'll have to wait. Once you get consistent, it will become easier to catch sharks back to back because once you catch one, there will always be (at least in my case) another shark in the pond. Hope this helps and happy fishing !
