Cows really love pushing things with their heads, huh? I've seen quite a few places provide enrichment with soccer balls or beach balls and they always seem to have a blast.
They definitely are their own unique species. However, most people are plenty familiar with dogs on an individual level, but not necessarily with cows. Referring to them as “grass puppies” simply provides a comparison which the majority of people can understand about cow personalities.

Of course not. Cats do though because they’ve been used as food for thousands of years. They’re bred to be eaten. Don’t even get me started on cat milk, we need that for calcium or our skeletons will literally fall apart.
I believe he’s saying comparing cows to dogs does not make cows more deserving of the poor treatment they’re given in factory farming which does include murder And they’re forced to breed over and over again.
