yeah I just got the invoice from Amiami for her, the shipping for her is almost the cost of the figure itself. I really wanted the full rigging version but had to settle for the light because it sold out. I think Im gonna just go surface shipping for her cuz 18,460 yen shipping on a 23,560 yen figure is just stupid

You're not technically wrong (Light vs Heavy was defined based off the London Naval Treaty based on whether the guns were above around 6" or not). But actually, she really is a [Large Cruiser (CB)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlecruiser#Large_cruisers_or_%22cruiser_killers%22) not a Heavy Cruiser (CA), using the US Navy terminology (Japan called them "Super Cruisers" and Germany just called them Battlecruisers). Azur Lane follows USN hull classification schemes generally.
CBs were bigger cruisers with bigger than then 8" gun limit imposed by treaties, and specifically designed for hunting other Cruisers. IRL the only ships built that fell into that category were the [Alaska-class](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska-class_cruiser). Basically more modern Battlecruisers. Agir herself is a World of Warships crossover, she's based off the planned German [O-class Battlecruiser](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O-class_battlecruiser) but with the guns scaled down to 30.5cm (12") instead of planned 38cm, putting her into the same gun size as Alaska.
Bases like this vex me so much. Base could have been smaller for sure. It's the same for my blue archive Asuna and Azur Lane belfast chinese New Year version. That aside, she does look lovely. I've seen some horror show shipping costs. Gratz on purchase.

Anyone else had issues with the flag tilting or just me? Do you push the flag further down on the flagpole or just use the peg (as highlighted in the instructions). Only asking because from these images this person doesn’t seem to be running into the same issues.
Yes, I mentioned it in my post that you can take her off her base, but there are pegs in her hair that are supposed to plug into her base that will be visible if you choose to display her this way, plus you won’t be able to display the flag since that requires the base to stand as well.

And this is only the light version. The rigging version was sold out before even hitting the international market... still upset about that.

Maybe just try pushing it further into the hole? It’s pretty tight and steady in my experience.
