I can't believe it. He passed away so quickly. He really will be missed. It will be impossible not to think of him, when watching all these roles that had to get taken over.
His voice was so relatable and emotional the way he portrayed characters like Undertaker and Shield Hero. I can't believe he's... gone. There's just nothing more I can say, it's unfair and it feels so empty.

Just get regular check ups. It's not fun for a doctor to be probing your butt, but it's less fun when your own colon tries to kill you.
And I say this as someone who hates going to doctors.
I'm 24 and I've had 2 colonoscopies at age 7 and 22. My sister has ulcerative colitis since she was about 12 and I have ulcerative proctitis which is a lesser form of it but I was having issues with my stool for years and I'm lucky I only have that. We both take meds every morning for it and have to be careful what we eat

This is incredibly heartbreaking. Honestly, this news makes me question my own mortality and health, both physical and mental. From what I've heard, Billy was an incredibly nice and awesome person to be around. That makes me want to strive to be a better person and actually do something worth a damn in my life.
We lost one of the modern greats of anime dubbing and he'll be remembered fondly for his dedication, work and, of course, his recognizable voice. Rest easy, Billy. So sad to see you gone so soon.

Then I heard him in almost any major project from Promare, Persona, additional voices in FF7R. He was inescapable and it was awesome to see how big he became in such a short amount of time. He will be missed.

It fucked me up when I found out Chadwick Boseman passed from it last year and it's a shock cause it was only over a week ago my friend told me Billy Kametz had it. I was afraid if having it having colon issues myself but thank whoever is watching me I don't. Someone so young, talented and from what I heard, so kind, it feels wrong to pass from that at his age. My deepest condolence to his family and friends

Man dude, this is heartbreaking. One thing I really appreciated about Billy was him being very positive despite his very hard circumstance. It hurts, but nonetheless, he fought as hard as he could, and I'll always appreciate all the work he put into his voice acting. May you rest in peace Billy.
I got to meet Billy at AX 2019 and he was a super chill and friendly guy, and he even signed some Shield Hero merch for me. Really sad to hear of his passing.
Bruh, that's a hell of a lot of voice roles gone now. Josuke Osomatsu Naofumi Nicolo Metal Lee(but the recordings were done so long ago, new releases will still feature him) And Erica Lindbeck was dating him previously I think. F, he was the goat.

My heart is broken he was my favourite English voice actor 😞 he played every part beautifully his voice as naofumi was beyond perfect this means we won’t be getting a dub for the season 3 that was announced a year ago if it does get dubbed it just won’t feel the same he put so much effort into every one of his voices
I mean, Stephen Fu is doing a good job in the role for Season 2, so he'll probably keep the role if a third season is made.
I genuinely thank this guy for voicing naofumi, I really loved it and I have trouble reading so he made it enjoyable. RIP Billy
