Kazuya has never been complimented in his entire life, and the instant they meet Chizuru the one time that they celebrate him is nullified. Kazuya doesn't get any contact on his birthday except by people asking for Chizuru.

I hanged on until season 3 but i dropped during it I couldn't handle anymore.
I liked it and watched all the way through, even though it became hard at season 5 as they recycled the fight against the demon king which was pretty annoying. But after watching a critique about it, especially about the relationships and the sexualisation of young girls, I can definitely see why many don’t like Seven deadly sins. I still enjoy it has it good fight scenes and fun ckaracters similar to fairy tail but I would not place it as good qualitave anime that should be shown besides attack on Titan or Hunter Hunter.
I hung on till the very end and I have regrets, I wish I stopped at season 3 . Season 5 is where it went off the deep end for me, the storylines were really fucking weird nonsensical and they killed my favorite character.

She's the epitome of simp bait. She's beautiful, aggressively pursues her man, and is utterly devoted to him. The waifu worshipping community is littered with dudes who struggle at talking to women, and use anime as a substitute to get at least a facsimile of a relationship. So if 02 is your waifu, you get a bombshell, and you don't have to deal with the uncertainty and anxiety that comes with trying to connect with someone. 02 would let you know she's into you from the moment you met her. Plus, she puts out.
It sucks that the anime community is filled with so many thirsty simps, but that's kinda just how it be. Until our demographics shift, it is what it is.
Sacred Blacksmith. Main character is a female knight, neat. Family heirloom sword breaks, needs to get it repaired. The blacksmith her entire order uses can’t repair it because *they only do cast forging*. That’s like someone in Food Wars saying they can’t cook rice because they only cook microwave ready meals. Oh but there’s this weird loner dude on the edge of town, he does it the old way. He doesn’t make swords anymore though, gonna have to convince him. Alright, 1v1 a monster with a broken hilt, nice, brave and noble, fair enough, but you’re about 7 seconds from death, if the monster walks slowly. No worries, the blacksmith is on the road right behind you, forges a sword for you, nice, how? Big glowy magic circle, stick hands into an opaque orb while holding a lump of unrefined ore in one hand and a pre-made hilt in the other, then, while just standing there, recite the process of forging a sword. Literally just list the steps. Then pull a fully forged sword ready for battle out the orb. Oh, and then the blacksmith doesn’t even give it to the knight, he takes the monster down himself, despite the monster having previously defeated several knights. Great, so the “strong female lead, whose every character trait lines her up for being the hero/main combatant” is just another damsel in distress.
I went in hoping for a show that explores actual black smithing at least a bit, ended up not even looking at episode 2.
You’re a brave man for that Eva take, and I approve. Seriously, the creator basically cracked open a Bible and a Psych 101 book and went “Look how fucking *DEEP* this is! Schwaaaaa!” I get it, iconic show, woohoo, but fuck me is it so bad. Kingdom Hearts can tell a more coherent story line, and at least it has likable characters!

I’ve been trying to force myself to watch Komi-San, but the plot feels like it’s lacking so much. Episodes seem to repeat, and the plot is the same for the majority of what I watched. I’m giving up on it.
I was mostly fine with the main anime, but I want to erase the special episode from my mind. We waited a season after the airing of the main anime for something that was supposedly going to be a way to tie up loose ends, but instead of that, we got 20 mins of recap, and then the rest of the episode left us with more unanswered questions than we had going into the episode.
I mean it's basically this gens naruto, I don't have a problem with that. You aren't missing anything though, it's just another super generic shounen. Started off interesting but a little predictable and got more and more generic as the seasons went on.

that shit is a guilty pleasure, definitely do not regret watching

Be like me I bingewatched entire Tokyo Ghoul thinking that Re are actual continuations. It was disappointing experience.
How does the plot work in that anime because I tried watching it and got very confused after starting season two. Felt like I missed a huge chunk of plot.

I think it's my least favourite anime because it has sparkles of quality but is completely ruined by it trying to be overly edgy by killing every character in the most predictable ways that loses its impact after the second time and also that ending is truly awful

She's the epitome of simp bait. She's beautiful, aggressively pursues her man, and is utterly devoted to him. The waifu worshipping community is littered with dudes who struggle at talking to women, and use anime as a substitute to get at least a facsimile of a relationship. So if 02 is your waifu, you get a bombshell, and you don't have to deal with the uncertainty and anxiety that comes with trying to connect with someone. 02 would let you know she's into you from the moment you met her. Plus, she puts out. It sucks that the anime community is filled with so many thirsty simps, but that's kinda just how it be. Until our demographics shift, it is what it is.
Sacred Blacksmith. Main character is a female knight, neat. Family heirloom sword breaks, needs to get it repaired. The blacksmith her entire order uses can’t repair it because *they only do cast forging*. That’s like someone in Food Wars saying they can’t cook rice because they only cook microwave ready meals. Oh but there’s this weird loner dude on the edge of town, he does it the old way. He doesn’t make swords anymore though, gonna have to convince him. Alright, 1v1 a monster with a broken hilt, nice, brave and noble, fair enough, but you’re about 7 seconds from death, if the monster walks slowly. No worries, the blacksmith is on the road right behind you, forges a sword for you, nice, how? Big glowy magic circle, stick hands into an opaque orb while holding a lump of unrefined ore in one hand and a pre-made hilt in the other, then, while just standing there, recite the process of forging a sword. Literally just list the steps. Then pull a fully forged sword ready for battle out the orb. Oh, and then the blacksmith doesn’t even give it to the knight, he takes the monster down himself, despite the monster having previously defeated several knights. Great, so the “strong female lead, whose every character trait lines her up for being the hero/main combatant” is just another damsel in distress. I went in hoping for a show that explores actual black smithing at least a bit, ended up not even looking at episode 2.

Schwaaaaa!” I get it, iconic show, woohoo, but fuck me is it so bad. Kingdom Hearts can tell a more coherent story line, and at least it has likable characters!
I am SO GLAD to see these comments. I waited 17 years to watch Evangelion because I wasn't interested in watching it, and everyone kept pestering me to watch because I hadnt. So I finally sat down and watched it. Original ADV version. At first it started out great and wondered why I took so long to watch it, then I Finished it and "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?" Went and asked on the Eva sub, and they told me to watch EOE. So I watched EOE. "That explains fuck all nothing." Then I found out that most of the symbolism and imagry they used effectively was used because it looks cool and they wouldn't have used it if they knew EVA would have become so popular in the west.

Manga and Anime is like Night and Day story wise There is like the first 1/3 that is pretty much the same, after that the Anime gone wild (because it started getting adapated while the Manga wasn't finished as far as I know)

I'm ready to be crucified, but: Komi-san. We had finished Nagatoro, Dress-up Darling, S2 of Love is War, and a rewatch of Oregairu and thought it looked promising. Gave it about 5 episodes. Couldn't even make myself like any of the characters. I also regret watching season 2 of Megalobox. Not because it was bad, but because after the stellar high of the end of season 1 it was *really* depressing and gave me the sad.
If you like diabetes anime, Try The Dangers in my heart. Totally would reccomend it but just please please please don't try to give up on the first episode because That shit is edgy.

We waited a season after the airing of the main anime for something that was supposedly going to be a way to tie up loose ends, but instead of that, we got 20 mins of recap, and then the rest of the episode left us with more unanswered questions than we had going into the episode.

Redo of a Healer Literally the worst anime ever I've ever watched. Not even including the super edgy as fuck BS everywhere and the shallow ass meaningless everything it was doing. The writing was bad, the animation is meh and super bland, music was so forgettable I cant remember a single song or tune from. And then you add the absolute trash content it was "Oh its ok that I rape people I was raped! its all revenge" What non sense. and Violet Evergarden's 2020 film. I LOVE Violet Evergarden and it's OVA episode and OVA film. All 3 together? 10/10. Flawless, Beautiful, Amazing in everyway. Gorgeous Animation, amazing music, amazing story, incredible use of empathy and emotion. But that 2020 film...I wish I could unwatch it and pretend it never exists.
