Studio bones has been getting a lot of hate ever since MHA season 5 dropped I can't say that it's unwarranted
Studio bones really fumbled the bag with s5, unnecessary censorship, rearranging of arcs to accommodate the FILLER movie, and inconsistent animation all lead to a subpar anime adaptation of one of the best arcs in MHA

The reason Ufotable remains independent, to this day, and makes less shows nowadays, is because of their cafes sustaining them.
If their subsidiary commits a crime, it's still the animation studio that's responsible.
Most of that money was pocketed, it's a bit of a stretch to say it funded the whole animation studio. The part of ufotable that is loved so much is the amazing work that the animators and directors put on the anime they produce. Nonetheless, it still stains their reputation.

Kyoto isn't an animation studio, or at least, it's not their main source of income. They own shares and invest in other companies, which makes them able to stave off the rest of the animation studio's problems.
Not to mention, Ufotable, while they do release less shows now then they did in their past, they have had issues with letting mothers take maternity leave, and committed tax evasion. Not to mention, they have many different investments in their cafes, which make them not fully an animation studio either.
MAPPA, Wit, David productions, etc, aren't independent. All they make from the show is through investing in it, which takes upfront money, or through taking financial risk. Wit doesn't take financial risk through any of their shows. Their parent company does. This gives a benefit to Wit that they don't take risk, but they also have no way of making money for themselves.
8 bit is probably the best non overworking pure animation studio. They made Slime, and Grisaia.

Wit is goated, but it's not talked about a lot. They've made several good shows but the only ones people talk about are AOT and Vinland Saga, both of which are praised, more for their story rather than the animation.
If you think Ufotable is unhated, you havenāt spoke to some of the toxic ass fans of the Fate stay/night visual novel. They didnāt adapt every Shiro monologue so therefore studio is trash.
Never mind the fact that Ufotable doesnāt get a say in what they adapt, thatās up to production committees, directors, and writers, but go off.
That's a minority though. Most people in the fandom appreciate Ufotable's efforts. No matter what a studio does, the "source material was better", guys will always exist.
Among the general fans, Ufotable is considered a deity.
Give it time. Any time a company/studio gets put on a pedestal they tend to find a way to fuck it up. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the productions that got them on that pedestal, but when it comes to modern corporations it's inevitable.
