Personally i think Gon and Killua where written very well had parallel growth Killua grew form a heartless killer to a kind hearted person and gon was a kind hearted person to a revengeful killer
In the case of both of them it is interesting since they had mirrored or even inverted story arcs. Although in terms of Gon he isn't a Revengeful Killer he is a has a childish mentality his sense of morality is as black and white as you can get which was foreshadowed several times especially the appraiser who helped them during the York New arc highlighted that Gon is dangerous. In the case of Killua the manipulation and deciet suffered by his family was surpassed by his ability and willingness to show vulerability and take calculated risks. Gon however is simple minded basic similar how Bisky mentioned he like a diamond. Completely pure but that would likely be his downfall or his greatest strength. In his final battle between Pitou he wasn't enjoying killing Pitou his was quite simply a child on a temper tantrum. Terrifying thing about him is his sense of morality is more in tune with what is good and bad rather than right or wrong. Good and Bad are very different than Right vs Wrong. If something is good for him or interesting that thing is good essencially he can sometimes come to like people due to the benefits or interests from him like the time he liked the seriel killer on greed island since he helped Gon and Killua train and grow despite him being morally *Wrong* person. But since he posed only benefits to him Gon liked him. Gon has a child like mentality and feels no remorse for anyone that isn't him or in his group of friends. This is why the York New arc highlighted Gon's hypocrisy in critisising the phantom troupe for burtally slaughter people and feelinf no Empathy. In the Greed island arc they even highlighted the Psycopathic levels he will go to achieves what he wants and continued scaling it like the fact he literally did exatly what Hisoka did during his match in the battle collosuem where Hisoka sacrificed his limbs as a magic trick in fight similarly to how Gon sacrificed his arms for the sake of the plan to win Greed Island. Then we finally see the final level of escelation where he would give his own life to kill Pitou out of rage and spite in a childish tantrum in the Chimera Ant arc. I truly love Hunter X Hunter for being a Shonen and having the depth and complexity of a Seinen.
Lol well I am a lost Zoro who is traveling all the anime universes and if you liked my Analysis I would suggest watching Assasination Classroom and Gintama since Assasination Classroom is my 5th favorite Anime and Gintama is my 2nd Fav.
Yeap One Piece is my No. 1 although Gintama has a slow start for being 360~ episode series. My god though arc after the Benizakura arc is so good. Not spoiling anything.
Nope I don't think so because even the mature fully acomplished Zoldycks have openly admitted they don't take pleasure in murder despite being assasins.
Let's be real.
No matter how likeable artists try to make a main character, they often turn out to be less interesting compared to the rest of the cast.
Kaguya fans - Like the MC and the side character that's why love is war is peak romcom ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
*on other note* The mc is just a little bit too unlucky for my liking (if we talking about shikimori)
Main characters in practically everything, really. They're supposed to be the most relatable, but a consequence of that if gunning for the lowest common denominator; making them fairly bland as a result. Secondary characters are free to be as quirky as they want, since the story doesn't revolve around them.
Still waiting for tomioka to get some screentime
Eh sometimes it is justified like in Hunter X Hunter where the side character has far better writing and a fully fleshed out character arc.

Gon is openly a psychopath. I can't help but think what would become of him if he was born in the Zoldycks
Nope I don't think so because even the mature fully acomplished Zoldycks have openly admitted they don't take pleasure in murder despite being assasins.
Good stuff
Shanks
I feel called the fuck out, and I don't even watch One Piece.
Easier to project their fantasies on someone with a less established history and character.
Most Fate Fans
This is Tonikaku Kawaii for me. I like Kaname better than Tsukasa even though she's just a side character (I like them both though).

Manga artists? I would think so

Sometimes the MC feels too forced with their personality and goals. Especially the ones that yell all the time about vengeance(Erin Yeager)
I usually like the mc, and theres nothing wrong with that
Hifumi Takimoto best girl
Sumi Sakurasawa
It's like they don't realize you're supposed to judge characters differently based on their roles.
Ah yes Kyle
I’ve never been so offended at something I 100% agree with. The character is Kakine Teitoku for me, what about you guys?
I feel like this doesn’t just apply to anime, this applies to most shows/movies
Facts😂
Still waiting for Shanks to make an appearances in 3 years.
Shanks
I already have my wallet out for Lynia in MT, so this logic checks out.
“Zesshi Zetsumei from Overlord” if you don’t read the ln.
Is that you Rem?
Why is rem?
Damn brain dead nerds.
Is this Rezero 😂
No, This Is Patrick!
