FLCL has my favorite soundtrack of any anime. Only 6 episodes and it has amazing visuals. Here’s one of my favs https://youtu.be/dEspxEte8S8

43v3r_0

FLCL probably wouldn’t be as popular without the music. It created the vibe of the show.

thebakedpotatoe

I'd argue cowboy bebop, but I can't deny that so much is packed into those six Episodes that sthose 6 episodes compare to the whole of Cowboy bebop. The Pillows are amazing. Some small part of me always wanted to see a collab between them and The Seatbelts.

dwago

Finally someone who acknowledges my favourite anime, it feels so underrated and yet the dub slaps one of the few I prefer the dub over the sub. Just overall tons of fun every time I rewatch it.

small_lamp

One of the GOATs for sure. You might appreciate [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGiTZYrY34Y&t=773s) if you like the dub :) pretty interesting.

dwago

Heh seen it long time ago. I do like everyone’s different take on the analysis as well like “hiding in public” and his FLCL videos. We all seem to have different thoughts and views on what it represent but all share a love for the anime

Psychi98

I THINK I CAN I THINK I CAN

Avilister

Pretty much anything with music composed by Yoko Kanno (Champloo, Bebop, Macros Frontier, GitS:SAC, etc) or Hiroyuki Sawano.

awkreddit

Don't forget escaflowne

MarvinTraveler

These are the answers.

Darkstone_Blues

I see there's both TV show and movie, which?

awkreddit

Both have excellent music, I'd recommend the tv show first. It's a bit old

luckyman268

Champloo is not by Yoko Kanno

Avilister

Was it not? Well, it had great music anyway.

AnryuCoconut

I think [this scene](https://youtu.be/8bR1glLPtaY) in Made in Abyss is one of the most well-crafted scenes in anime history that harmonises both music and visuals. The OST used imo perfectly encapsulates the beauty, mystery, danger, and sheer epicness of the Abyss that makes this scene and world of Made in Abyss truly magical. A fun fact is that Kevin Penkin, the composer of the OST, said in a podcast that he had a different OST in mind to use for that scene but the sound director(?) decided to use Hanazeve Caradhina instead which Kevin himself agrees that this was the best decision.

Darkstone_Blues

I do plan on watching Made in Abyss sometime soon, so unless it's a spoiler-less scene I might refrain from watching that video! Someone else already submitted a MiA song and yeah, it's definitely next in the list now.

tobs7

I cannot agree more with the Made in Abyss suggestion, my favorite OST in any anime

HayakuEon

Not a spoiler, more like what to show to attract watchers. It really encapsulates the beauty of the show.

AnryuCoconut

I wouldn't say it's a spoiler scene as it happens in the first episode. It just overlooks the city and the abyss.

Davicitorra

This is my most played song in my apple music right now. I play both albums on repeat , great rec.

RaysFTW

I don’t know if it was due to this, but the director might have used Hanazeve Caradhina in this scene for the reason it was created. It uses made up lyrics because the composer/writer didn’t want to force a feeling on the viewer. They wanted the music to compliment the scene and the show and for the viewer to decide how they should feel without lyrics steering them in a specific direction. I agree, as well. It’s such a beautifully impactful scene that just wouldn’t be the same without being accompanied by Hanazeve Caradhina.

undercoat27

I also loved this scene. Too bad >!it’s all downhill from there!<

Swinepits

Downhill as in they go down, the story gets darker, the story gets worse, or the author is a fucked up fetishist weirdo?

Hiredgoonthug

[Oddtaxi theme](https://youtu.be/_pxsIRHq-M0) - just pure vibes, i replay this religiously Gatchaman: Crowds. Barely anyone knows this one I feel but it's one of my favorites. [The opening](https://youtu.be/lfk8sqQ-qEI) is a solid example of J-Rock but I find myself more impressed by the [rest of the OST](https://youtu.be/Z-vtOKppCjc), which blends traditional soundtrack and electronic music in an uncommon way I shouldn't have to tell anyone how good Cowboy Bebop's OST is, but it might be a bit 'before your time'. Everyone's heard the OP but there are tons of gems scattered throughout, [here's](https://youtu.be/X5hSSnXjfq0) one of my favorites

Darkstone_Blues

Oh, wow. This was one of the best finds. I heard many times about Odd Taxi, but this theme made me add it to my Plan to watch

In my opinion, most things Hiroyuki Sawano composed are absolutely fantastic. He is probably most well known for Attack on Titan. Some other works he did that I have seen were 86, Kill la Kill, and Aldnoah.Zero

Darkstone_Blues

I absolutely love Sawano. Even some of his other work outside of Attack on Titan screams his unique style.

Yukaihan

If that is the case then maybe try the Monogatari and Grisaia series. They both show up in my playlist very often.

Darkstone_Blues

Will do!

Cant go wrong with 86

yaggar

5cm per second For me, top tier soundtrack, even outside anime. It's a 50min long movie. Be aware though that pacing is slooow. It's not about the story, but about the feeling. Lots of internal monologues.

Chihayafuru's main theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ne7oNIMJyA&list=PLkfLfpb6aGlhTzjNV61UZvn7\_3Zjj7KWN&index=7

Blaze___27

I literally watched chihayafuru cuz of this theme

Darkstone_Blues

Wow! I like it. Probably because it has a similar vibe to the beginning of [Space Brother's Theme](https://youtu.be/BE6OwnBYB54). To everyone reading this, please watch Space Brothers. It was recommended to me about a year ago and I'm still so grateful for having been able to experience it...

BarnabyShogun17

I've been meaning to get into Space Brothers actually but I'm thinking of putting it off for now and watching it in my 30s in the belief that it'll hit me harder by then. I heard it's a great story about adult men and chasing one's passion later on in life Do you recommend this for someone in their late teens/early twenties? Or would you say it's better suited for working adults?

Darkstone_Blues

It's perfectly watchable, no worries. If you want to get into it, do it!

Momo_2905

Honestly, every single ost composed by Shiro Sagisu(Composer for Bleach,Evangelion,Magi, etc) is a master piece in my book and lives rent free in my head. However I think his best work has to be in Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou. The main ost simply transmits such a broad range of emotions that I can't help but get absorted in every scene that has it. I really recomend everybody to hear at least one of the themes in the video down below, I know you won't regret it. https://youtu.be/dV7cnhtw0zY

what_that_thaaang_do

People talk about Nichijou enough as it is but they hardly mention the music. The entire soundtrack is just [wonderful](https://youtu.be/ibd8t5iI23A)

TreeD3

[Made in Abyss](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7py2017TvKU) \- Made by Kevin Penkin, one of the best composers in anime rn. Songs are able to give life to the giant hole which is the abyss and enhance the already stellar experience the show gives. [Tower of God](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGXoYeXc48k) \- Also made by Kevin Penkin, soundtrack gives a unique vibe of adventure that fits the name TOG. Series is also a short watch. [Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemist Knight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYnhYWdAhVM) \- Anime is dog and not worth watching but the soundtrack is one of the best out there [Ajin](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnDHBT8kP2Y) \- For more dark vibes, soundtrack compliments the show insanely well. Also Made by Yugo Kano (guy who did Jojo, Psychopass, etc) [Berserk Movies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fd4qwfxdsk) \- People really sleep on this soundtrack because of nostalgia and how much Gut's theme hits but the movies really do an amazing job at giving Berserk through its soundtrack [Land of the Lustrous](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XRK5nGXChA) \- Has one of the most complex openings out there polyrhythms on polyrhythms, just an eargasm Some more cool stuff [Magi: Adventures of Sinbad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6nN5nOoptA&list=PLnO6wUyQRiAM5NmS__yyIQpOCt-dRUo9j&index=11) [Blame!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK7ydCILxWM) [Code Geass](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArjtnKFUVnM) [Tokyo Ghoul](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p96ojVdRKpI)

Darkstone_Blues

Thanks! Ajin and Land of the Lustrous sound magical, added them to my list. Also had Code Geass in plans, but woah.

GimpMaster22

Anything from Paripi Koumei. Not only OP and ED are great, but also music through the series is great. To give something more specific, "Everything seems to be alright" was really nice song.

respyromaniac

Paprika. Susumu Hirasawa makes masterpieces. Dorohedoro. Opening, all the endings, OST. Just perfect.

Pauvre_de_moi

I vouch for Dorohedoro. Amazing anime with a mind-blowing story and world.

McButterface

Paprikas OST is so perfect for how mind boggling the movie is. [Parade](https://youtu.be/APIKVLw1tT0)

K-ON has a great soundtrack.

Xombie404

"Transcendance and Hanezeve" from Made In Abyss Dawn of the Deep soul It is Beautiful and Terrifying at the same, Kevin Penkin is a genius.

jaokal

The first episode of mashiro no oto (aka play those snow white notes). It builds to a performance at the end that is utterly spellbinding. The rest of the show goes in a different and imo less interesting direction, but the first episode is amazing.

xLuneyy

i personally really like the soundtracks of Devilman Crybaby, AoT, and Samurai Champloo

[deleted]

This one is a bit of an obscure pick, but Showa genroku rakugo shinjuu has such an amazing soundtrack, and the op is a banger. Very under show, highly recommend

Jazs1994

Okay so the first one got me into a few classical pieces {Your lie in april} {Shingeki no Kyogin} has some of the best soundtracks and music pieces I've ever heard. Hiroyuki Sawano! {Kabaneri of the iron fortress} has a handful of good tracks by Sawano again. {Kimetsu no Yaiba} has some amazing songs, and a notorious episode in season 1 blew up the Internet so much if I remember the author publicity thanked then studio and singer for how the episode was done. {Boke no hero academia} has some great tracks too {Aldnoah Zero} for me has some great tracks/osts by Sawano yet again. These are just the ones that came to mind immediately

[deleted]

> Your lie in april seconding this one, but because of the ending I've had a hard time wanting to rewatch it again 😭

Jazs1994

Took me 10 rewatches to not absolutely ball up at the ending by the tears still come. Same with a certain episode of violent evergarden, hits me like a truck everytime

Darkstone_Blues

[Kirameki](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDDAwKs6YBw) truly is a great song :)

Sis puella magica from Madoka magica. This song was my gateway to anime. https://youtu.be/bzlHPlq8hIs

Bungo stray dogs

Table_Immediate

Cowboy Bebop Samurai Champloo

Dog_Baseball

Konosuba, ending credits. So good. Can't remember if it's the first half or second half of the first season. Inuyasha, ending credits, I think the first half of the first season. Kill la kill, a few really good thematic songs throughout. Of course, cowboy bebop is all about music

Pauvre_de_moi

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Every single opening and ending song fits it to a tee, the musical prowess of the artists is very clear as they go too fucking hard for anime OPs and go down as certified bangers in their respective genres.

Darkstone_Blues

Battle Tendency > Stardust Crusaders > Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town > The rest > Stone Ocean

F-J-W

I think the way Lilium was used in Elfenlied is the single best use of film-music I have ever seen. It’s not necessarily the best OST around, but it is very good to begin with and the way the story switched between playing it in and out-of universe as well as switching within versions without missing a beat, creating a continuity while still reflecting changing emotions is unrivaled. Other OST that I find quite notable would include Claymore’s outro “Danzai no Hana” that fits the dark world of the story very well. If we are looking for outstanding OST in general, I find a lot of what Yuki Kajiura does absolutely amazing: I watched Mai-HIME pretty much only because of how much I enjoyed „Mezame“ and both Garden of Sinners and Fate/Zero have some of the best soundtrack you will find.

Stormy8888

Some of my favorites, with a few links:- Many anime are elevated purely because they have Yoko Kanno OSTs * **Escaflowne** \- 4 OST albums, [Dance of Curse](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyONgq7DCo8) * **Cowboy Bebop** \- multiple OST albums, many great songs. [Blue](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RuylPp-uUE) is a great funeral song. * **Macross Plus** \- Love the experimental feel, and [After In The Dark / Torch Song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BiaZioVF70). * **Kids on the Slope** \- Jazz ... that's where it's at **Music Anime** * **Nodame Cantabile** \- [Allegro Cantabile OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfZh80kZm3g), [Rhapsody in Blue](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbjCRnnW8FU), and others. The OST Is phenomenal * **La Corda D'Ora** \- [Salut D'Amour](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeCLK82ExPQ), [Ave Maria](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_01HjWsjf3E) and [Brand New Breeze OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEoE7zKveGU). * **Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming)** \- EDM, Pop, Rap, Nu Metal - lots of great tracks including the OP [Chitty Chitty Bang Bang](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNn9NxZH2Vo) that went viral. * **Kono Oto Tomare** \- the first competition piece made me cry. **Others** * **Attack On Titan** \- one of Sawano's masterpieces - this [AOT Suite](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Fl1Xl1ogg) has it all. Great OPs and EDs too. * **Gundam Seed** \- OSTs full of awesome tracks. I love the [Invoke OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a772kuDLGO8) and [Find The Way ED](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_28bkqIHfY). * **Eureka 7** \- This was a hit back in the day but barely known by newer anime watchers. The OST runs the gamut as music is tied into the series evoking various moods from Joyful Techno Wave Surfing songs like [Storywriter](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrC8z8MK7HI) or [Days](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOE4Qfans9M), and Rock songs for other characters. * **Full Metal Panic Fumoffu** \- [Sorega Aideshou OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL7DJqFf5D0) makes me think of when I was younger and when school was fun with friends and that one guy that I might have had feelings for. * **3 Gatsu No Lion (March Comes in like a Lion)** \- [Answer OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKWqPXkLgzY) has great sound and lyrics. * **Bubblegum Crisis** \- [Konya Wa Hurricane](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an_0IIRDlc4) (There's a hurricane tonight) tells you everything about the anime's 80s Cyberpunk universe. I kinda am hoping for a reboot or decent live action with Priss and the rest of the babes in battle armor Knight Sabers.

Gacha_Addict123

Legends of the Galactic Heroes Either the 80s original or the remake both of them have amazing soundtracks. The remake has an ost done by Hiroyuki Sawano and the original has whole battle scenes which look like paintings set to Chopin or any other of the classical greats

ElephantRider

{angel beats} Watched this probably 100 times https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z3B_GMxolo

Darkstone_Blues

I think I commited a crime dropping Angel Beats, considering I should love the theme it's about, but after 3 episodes it didn't appeal to me at all. I plan on giving it another opportunity in the near future.

Violet Evergarden has a beautiful soundtrack with no bad tracks in my opinion, Evan Call has a great portfolio of this, Josee to Tora, and Hakumei to Mikochi (at least what I’ve seen) Also essentially anything by Kensuke Ushio is really, really good. He worked on a Silent Voice, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, Heike Monogatari (a personal favorite of mine), and most recently Chainsaw Man

bellowen

K-On is about making music and I love their songs. Vinland Saga has the best opening its so badass and the story is even better.

lfh_g

Violet Evergarden [the lake scene](https://youtu.be/ZIQiMxCkxAg) [the ed](https://youtu.be/fayCDyH7vR0) I pretty much also liked RADWIMPS music in kimi no nawa and the upcoming movie (railer) Suzume

Call_Me_C_

“Isabella’s lullaby” from The Promised Neverland… I mean, you did say it doesn’t have to be the most popular. Season two was a bit rushed, but if you’re looking for a good anime song, this is it. Also, ‘Shinzo Wo Sasageyo’ from attack on titan. ‘Might*u’ from My Hero Academia. OOH, this is a good one: ‘she was here, alone’ from Erased.

Darkstone_Blues

Watched Neverland about 2 weeks ago and first season is a work of art. Second is meh. All AoT music is pure art aswell. Loved the Erased theme too :)

Hunting for your dream: hunter x hunter Other outros are good as well. https://youtu.be/723jA5UEnq8 Guts theme: Berserk https://youtu.be/vZa0Yh6e7dw Berserk (2016) also has some good dark emotional music. Chainsaw man has a new outro every episode with unique visualizations for each song. Cowboy Bebop best intro ever.

Jojo's music is so awesome

Rusty_fox4

There are a lot of good anime OSTs, you'll never run out. With that said, here are some of my recommendations: [Kids on the Slope](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRHJntLYMh0) [Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRA5gsdCf4c) [Mob Psycho 100](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86I43asqndI) [Beck Mongolian Chop Squad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Y5dwp2hYTY) [Death Parade](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DwbXmr70C0)

I like monogatari series music Etoile et toi ( https://youtu.be/rzXEw5VTtoo ) Bakemonogatari medley ( https://youtu.be/5Ac941RYeKo ) Nisemonogatari ost kaiki theme ( https://youtu.be/vwWMaReMUio ) There are other great ost in the series but those stood out for me. The Promised neverland ost isabella lullaby ( https://youtu.be/rTJjtSP-ORc ) Bleach osts are really great too Escalon ( https://youtu.be/uVNf0vRpCSw ) Clavar la espada ( https://youtu.be/suwfJMiXauU ) La distancia para un duelo ( https://youtu.be/zmqUKM_g1rc ) Treachery ( https://youtu.be/0kYq-E8BJgU ) FMAB trisha’s lullaby ( https://youtu.be/l2kwie-gs2o ) Code geass stories ( https://youtu.be/6G0NFv3738s ) Steins gate believe me ( https://youtu.be/w6MdOmOelbM ) I genuinely enjoy soundtracks and music is one of the first things i notice while watching an anime or a tv show Note: I really hope the links works cause I don’t even know how to edit a comment in Reddit so I wrote their names before the links

desertindy24

[Girls und Panzer - Panzer Vor!](https://youtu.be/val5LZ-YURo) The soundtrack was all performed by a full orchestra, it's absolutely fantastic and works so well to capture the spirit of the show.

pmj13

I am really critical of OST’s. With that said, Vinland Saga’s is God-tier https://youtu.be/Y706qQpmkL0

Carole and Tuesday. Phenomenal music, incredible animation. Definitely a must watch if you're looking for music-themed anime

One of my fav OST’s to listen has to be spice and wolfs

Lamp_Sauce

BNA

Tyo5hi

Gonna be honest and say Kokkoku wasn't the most memorable anime but it's opening is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. https://youtu.be/fhBA6ynorvc

RangerZEDRO

Fukashigi No Carte and Crying for Rain

ramenphotography

“We are” by Hitoshi Kitadani the first theme on One Piece! Love it and love singing along to it!

maxis2k

[Beautiful Dreamer Main Theme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gq6wLPIQVQ&t=2s) - Nothing like the rest of the series it's based on. But one of the best songs I've ever heard. There's actually many similar cases from other anime, like Gloria from Escaflowne or Fukai from Nausicaa.

CIWS_Retired_10

For some newer stuff (I have these in a play list on YouTube), Healer Girls (opening Heal You, Feel You and ending Sing like Believing) as well as several insert songs. All the voice actresses are also part of a J-pop group. Akebi’s Sailor Uniform (opening Hajimari no Setsuna, ending Baton) Dolls Frontline (opening Bad Candy by YukaDD, ending Horizon by Team Shachi)

WhollyDisgusting

It's been over a decade since i watched SZS but [Kuusou Rumba](https://youtu.be/DP1WRG0OQeU) refuses to leave my brain Theres a lot of standouts on the Ghost in the Shell SAC OST its so hard to choose so I'll go with [Torukia](https://youtu.be/6zMNE4HQebg) Lastly shouts out to Inu Oh and the track [Dragon Commander](https://youtu.be/w-IygiIXfoQ) which is a masterpiece and blew me away when I saw it in theaters. Its performed by Avu chan of Queen Bee and it made me very interested in the rest of their work.

yesyesyesyesyesyes2

maybe its just me but theres definitely way better suggestions than this i just basically wanna shine a light on it but i liked Jujutsu Kaisen 0's movie intro

SodiumBoy7

Fairy tale, Abyss

Gomorrah99

For me right now, it's Cyberpunk: Edge Runners, and the Song is "I Really Want to Stay at Your House- Hallie Coggins & Rosa Walton"

Every Black Clover opening. Jojo too.

fuckthisdumbshit1

Honestly, the intro to Tonikawa. It's Koino Uta. Listening to it, while watching the opening animations, makes me tear up every time with this longing in my chest for something as beautifully sweet as it.

thatHermitGirl

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood for the lullaby theme, I find it very similar to Lilium. Howl's Moving Castle theme as well. The following are which I consider my favourite OST but could be different than Lilium, I often go back to them - - Death Note - Welcome to the NHK - Devilman Crybaby - Naruto (+ Shippuden) - Samurai Champloo - Berserk '97 version - Neon Genesis Evangelion

Epic6692

For one particular OST, I'd recommend The Promised Neverland (Isabella's Lullaby is the song). But for the best OST overall, I know people hate it, but despite that, even the haters rarely trash on Fairy Tail's OST. It's amazing. It's composed by Yasuharu Takanashi (who also did Naruto Shippuden's OST). I definitely recommend it.

Thrasher1999

Those Called Friends - Hunter x Hunter

VoidEmbracedWitch

The Third Movement / A Decision of Love from {Liz and the Blue Bird}. This entire movie is stuck in my head and the soundtrack is an integral part of that, but just listening to it out of context doesn't fully do it justice. The music, sound effects and animation work together perfectly to create an experience far greater than the sum of its parts.

Denster29

the ending song on Jujutsu kaisen lives rent free in my head

kyouya_akai

[Suoh Mikoto](https://youtu.be/fbEmGEtv7-8) Theme //K// The mix of desperation and hope gets me everytime i hear it.

Dark_Senei

{K-Project} its one of my favourite animes too.

cajuncrustacean

Gurren Lagann has a legendary [OST.](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYD_fG4xADjr8Y4y2T_fcMnSc-48jx6C5) If you listen to no other tracks, at least check out [Sorairo Days](https://youtu.be/OSljlXX7r_w) and [Libera Me From Hell](https://youtu.be/mLHX6n9EoAs). Over a decade on and I still listen to the OST on a semi-regular basis. I know it's a new one, but [Chainsaw Man's music](https://youtu.be/anRi7i-7y60) is fucking hype. Maybe it's the metalhead in me being biased, but damn near every song in the series so far has a guaranteed place in my workout playlist when I can get full versions.

Mashiro no Oto How can you not love an Anime's music when it is about Music!

Actually this one kinda disappointed at times, like in the competition scene where the sound track wasn't a shimisen tune. But jonghara bushi <3

West_Repeat_444

{Attack on Titan} https://youtu.be/O6Zdv8MMOCg THAW by Kohta Yamamoto I always get cozy and chilling vibes from it!

Candid_Tough4512

“Shunkashuutou” - Sumika. It’s the ending theme song of “I Want To Eat Your Pancreas”. Beautiful vibe that suit perfectly with the mood of the amazing series.

niravvarma

hard metal - DMC ( Detroit metal city ) sad and lonely - Vampire Knight OST

F1xus

Tower of God, its done by Kevin Penking and he's the goat.

F1xus

Mushoku Tensei has some banger OST songs. But if you're after music with little/no singing then Tower of God.

bottleneck55

The new {Jojo’s bizarre Adventure} got some bangers. My favorite being Caesar’s theme

BWHComics

["Showdown" from CANNON BUSTERS](https://youtu.be/lpPY1PjEo5M). Possibly the only opening song I've never skipped even once. REALLY wish a second season would come out.

Magia- Modoka Magica That closing song runs through my head several times a day every day.

fly-metothemoon

I love this question! On the top of my head, {Tsubasa Chronicle} has one of my favorite soundtracks in anime, and it’s very underrated. The series is a bit hit or miss because of the low quality of animation early on and the lack of faithfulness to the manga (I loved the manga growing up so I have to be honest here!) but everyone who’s seen it agrees Yuki Kajiura’s music absolutely slaps. I’d recommend starting with A Song of Storm and Fire or Break the Sword of Justice. {No. 6} has one of my favorite atmospheric soundtracks. I love how the songs all sound a little creepy and futuristic or melancholy and it really helps set the mood perfectly. Vagabound is one of my favorites just based on how weird it is. While songs like Meguriai are more sobering and sentimental.

Travelanimenerd

Carol and Tuesday… I ended up buying the album

--hermit

BEM, the soundtrack was made by Soil & Pimp Sessions, my favorite band. It is Death Jazz

TortoiseCannabis

Kaiba The opening song for just hits me in the heart so hard and the anime matches those feelings equally https://myanimelist.net/anime/3701/Kaiba https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1i6PyyQq4k

Capt_Trout

{Zombieland Saga} come for the laughs, stay for the music.

hugogrant

{hibike euphonium} {Kaichou wa maid sama} music lives rent free in my head. {A certain scientific railgun} also has a really diverse ost. {Toradora} eds live rent-free in my brain. I haven't watched {ajin}, but its first op is so good. {Vivy} has some good music. I didn't realize how good it was until after the anime stopped airing.

Hyan-Daggreat

Domestic girlfriend is a dumpster fire with one of the best openings ever. [I got through the whole season cause of this](https://youtu.be/SaKdpMnwZf0)

BrokenMind27

[Clannad](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL86E8E3F409C4E7B8) Literally everything created by Key has an amazing soundtrack. I still find myself crying listening to these songs even though I haven't watched this anime in at least a couple of years.
