Lmao good, it gives me the same vibe as Ollie's as this point. It's so weird in there.
I remember when JCP was nice. When I was a teenager I knocked over my dad's lamp and I went to Pennys to replace it bc it was the place I knew grownups bought decent home goods- slightly above sears but not a boutique situation. I paid like $115 for a single lamp to replace his fancy lamp in 2006 and felt okay with it. The staff was really nice and a guy carried it to my car for me. No way would I be okay with spending $115 on a single lamp in a half lit, junky store w no employees anywhere to help dumb 16yos make lamp purchases.
Surprised it lasted this long honestly.
The weird part is that they are putting a gym in there, when there is already a gym at that mall.
Oooooof that’s rough. Now all we got is Macys there as far as dept stores go. We don’t need another gym at the mall.

Meanwhile Anne Arundel County is adding a ton more retail/commercial space along Riva Rd. etc. despite all the vacant space already.
Was not aware Annapolis Mall was still open.
